I like to drink decaf chai and it can be difficult to find. I stopped in here to see if they had…read moreany. I was promptly greeted and the sales associate was so friendly. I asked her about what I was looking for and she immediately brought me to it (they had two to choose from). She explained the differences to me then left me to decide and explore. I appreciated that she was so helpful but also not pushy or hovering after she answered my question. I explored the rest of the store and even grabbed another tea to try. The store has a lot of teas and spices in various sizes. It was well organized and stocked. They all had various tea and spice related items. When I checked out she told me that if I bring the container back they will refill with any tea and take $3 off the purchase which I thought was great! I will be back to get my chai tea here from now on.

I have to say a lot of their blends smelled really good but I ended up going with their peach blossom herbal tea. I was able to buy a go cup of the brewed tea and some of the tea leaves. The sales associate was so helpful letting us know which teas are similar. She was bright and friendly and offered to help me create a new mix when I mentioned looking for a dupe of a discontinued brand. I definitely recommend if you're a tea lover.

There is definitely a variety of chocolates, bitters, and salt here. Honestly I wasn't aware of the…read moreall the variety of salt. Overall a cool store to check out for a foodie. There were so many things to try and a lot of gourmet treats. The Mississippi district can be a parking challenge so look for parking on the side streets. Also plenty of things to do around here to include shopping, eating and drinking

For the foodie in your life, or for yourself, you can definitely find some treasures! While the…read moreshop focuses on salt, chocolate, bitters and flowers, there are so many varieties of each, that you can wander and marvel, making decisions a bit challenging! The wall of chocolate contains bars from all over the world, and a section with local chocolates. Half the wall contains plain chocolate ranging from milk to the darkest dark. The other side does the same, but with mix ins. And not just the typical almonds or sea salt, be adventurous and try the dark with dried berries or the honey lavender. The bars are pricey, about $11 for 2 oz, but worth it for a decadent treat that you savor slowly, say with a glass of red. Lots of bitters to make craft cocktails and spritzers. Also some syrups - I love the cardamom. And so many salts!!! I've ought a jar of fine finishing flakes that really take a simple dish or baked good to the next level! The truffle salt, while displayed as a topping for popcorn, is even better sprinkled on triple cream Brie. As you enter, there is a table filled with dozens of vases, each containing various stems of flowers for purchase. Love that you can mix and match to make your own bouquet. Small footprint, but mighty. Will be back before the holidays to buy hostess gifts and stocking stuffers.

Oh don't skip this shop. I know it's on a street of great…read morebougie shops but this one is charm upon charm: it's like walking into a grown-up candy store and finding wrapped bonbons that you want to try -- chocolates that are milk and dark -- all kinds of extraordinary flavors wrapped like truffles. Cherry cordials, pear cordials, apple cordials in chocolates. Caramel chocolates, chocolate caramels. Thing is it's hard for not to love the store because it has three of my favorite things: 1. chocolate: shelves and shelves of unique artisan chocolates made with skill and care from all over the world. 2. And salt -- am a VERY big fan of picking up local salts whenever one is traveling -- including actual blocks and blocks of Himalayan salt stacked. Not imitation but the real stuff. They even have fresh popcorn for you to taste the truffle salt with. 3. Lastly they have fresh cut flowers. It's like a florist and you can create your own bouquets. Beautiful specimens with structure and freshness. I have to say they also have bottles and bottles of bitters -- crafted bitters. King Floyd chief among them. The staff person was super helpful. She was kind and educational about many things.

The woman behind the counter was quite friendly. There was even popcorn to try with truffle salt on it. While there was nothing here that I ended up buying, it's a neat place to look around, especially if you're in the market for a salt lamp or some unique bitters as I think they had at least 50 if not a hundred different kinds.
