Tell me why this random coffee shop I searched up quickly in the middle of travel through Wisconsin ended up having the BEST coffee I've EVER had in my entire life??? I got the iced cinnamon latte decaf with oat milk. It was so smooth, so creamy, so splendid!! Usually coffee with ice starts out creamy and delish, and then it gets watered down more and more as the ice melts. Despite the ice completely melting in this drink after a while (and not even asking for light ice), it stayed the same consistency and was still delicious?? They didn't have soy so I was like oat it is!! Usually oat milk doesn't produce the same creamy and smooth consistency soy milk does. This defied all the odds. If I could drink this every single day, I WOULD! Mark my words!!! Idk if it was the barista who made it, or if it's just genuinely this small Milwaukee chain itself, but I seriously will be raving about this forever and ever hehe! Plenty of parking and many people working on their laptops - such cute vibes!

I don't normally stray far from my usual drink orders, but the turn of summer had me craving something a little more treat-like. When checking out their seasonal drink menu the Raspberry Sweet Foam Iced Matcha just spoke to me! I love me some matcha and figured it would only be positively elevated when topped with raspberry. Indeed, this drink was damn delicious and refreshing. Surprisingly still not too sweet (always a bummer when anyone over-sweetests matcha imo). The foam was super creamy and light with the perfect touch of berry. Only bummer? The $7+ dollar price tag for a 12oz (small) order. Gesh! Though I'd love to order this on the regular, sticking to my usual latte orders will save me a pretty penny. I'll always be back!

Smaller location but very friendly staff and classic Stone Creek flavor! I always love the vanilla bean latte. It was busy on a Monday after with people working or catching up socially. The staff were kind and fast even when busy! Would recommend this location to meet a friend or get some work done!

I live so close to the Stone Creek Coffee on Downer Ave. that I haven't ventured out much to the others in the city. Waiting for another business to open, I decided to stop by this one and read for a while. It's in such a convenient location, near grocery stores, the mall, and restaurants. It is a good bit small than the one on Downer, but it didn't really matter to me. Found a seat easily after I ordered my iced oat milk latte. It was pretty busy inside with people working on laptops, reading, or chatting with a friend. The baristas were super friendly, took my order, and quickly it was waiting for me. The inside of the coffee shop is very open and airy. A good amount of space for groups to meet or just hang out by yourself. It is winter so the patio wasn't open, but I imagine that would be a great spot during the summer. I'll have to revisit this summer and sit outside. A fun change up in my regular coffee shop routine!

I've always loved Stone Creek. I love that they have decaf and sugar-free options. This jalapeño popper bread was particularly excellent.

Love this location of Stone Creek. The interior is modern and welcoming. In addition to a rich menu of specialty coffee beverages, they have a pastry case full of goodness. I tend toward savory pastries and they had a vegetable ricotta bun that rocked socks. As for coffee, I'm a fan of their white mocha. They have a lovely patio with flanked in lush green and blooms during the warmer months, which I so enjoy! The service has always been prompt and friendly when I've been in. Get to it!

Maple ube latte with oat milk

This was my first time there - the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed. We ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream, which was solid but nothing special. We also got a maple ube latte with oat milk which was fantastic! The ube was there without being overpowering, and was balanced perfectly with the maple. I also loved that they had small coffee sample bags, so you could buy a small amount.

I mean what kid wouldn't be excited for that? So many freshly-made options to choose from, and this one was a winner. Definitely a very sweet-treat, and worth splitting a handful of ways, but boy was it tasty! I also grabbed a latte for myself, which I always enjoy here. I will say however, I wish they had other milk options beyond oat and whole milk. I say this with no means to complain, but both of those milk are very 'heavy' so whenever something like skim or almond is available, that's a personal preference for sure. Love the community feel here, love the goodies, will return.

They had a variety of baked goods to choose from- we opted for the cinnamon roll and the seasonal danish. We also ordered a cappuccino and an americano. The baked goods we had were okay. We were disappointed they wouldn't heat up the cinnamon roll, the reason they gave us was because the frosting would run and be messy. So the cinnamon roll wasn't very enjoyable. I liked the filling on the seasonal danish but I asked for it heated up and it was served at room temp. The coffee was good- we both thought it was weak for our liking but it had good flavor. Also to note, this place is very family-friendly. When we were in, there were a lot of children and families enjoying the space. I would love to come back and try the monkey bread; they were sold out when we arrived this morning and we were told it's a top-seller.

Date of visit: December 14, 2025…read more Our monthly coffee date with our close friends took us this time to the Colectivo in Shorewood and it was good to be close from home given the frigid temperatures we were experiencing. I can't say that I've really spent any time at a Colectivo since the one at Bayshore closed, so this was a nice opportunity to reacquaint myself with their offerings and I came away impressed for the most part. For coffee, I went with the Peppermint Fluff Latte, and I must say it was an excellent choice on my part. They didn't skip on the mint and it really felt like a perfect drink for a cold day with Christmas just around the corner. Foodwise, I selected a cowgirl cookie (a bit too overcooked for my tastes, though the half of the salted choco cookie my husband ordered was quite good and I would recommend that one) and the Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant. The croissant was a bit more squat than I was expecting, but it lent itself to the sandwich well and while a bit miserly on the cheese, it was overall a very good sandwich. I went five stars instead of four because the staff was really quite excellent. I fully expected the usual crew of hungover hipsters you see at most other coffee shops but instead I found a fun, friendly bunch that were happy to help.

I don't think that there is a wall that dosnt have some positive affirmation of sorts. It has a very authentic feel, and a maximalism approach. The air condition works just fine on a summer day but I did opt for the outdoor seating. The messages on the window are what the community needs to hear, "You are Loved" and "slow the frick down". This place really seems all inclusive. I was impressed that there IS a baby changing table in the bathroom. We tried the iced mocha, lemonade, and peach parfait that was left, because a lot was sold out. The iced mocha didn't stand out to me, but maybe that because I do like my coffee on the sweater side. The lemonade was wonderful, tasted "home made" without any pulp. We did add some of the simple syrup that was available on the table to sweeten it up just a bit. The peach parfait was great, there were pumpkin seeds in the granola which has inspired me to try and make my own. Their stickers are humorous!

I was expecting a bit more than just breakfast sandwiches in terms of food, but that is all the counter staff told us about. Later I saw people with baked goods but those weren't mentioned or visible for us to peruse. Our breakfast sandwiches were pretty average, and the coffee was just okay as well. I tried the Carrot Cake Latte and it had a hint of that flavor, but I definitely wanted a little more. The vibe is very hipster, from the bicycle crowd to the vegan folks and would really only work in a neighborhood like Riverwest!

The space very kind and cozy and they offered some classics and unique options for foods - I was enticed by the longanisa sandwich! I had gotten the Turkey Turkey sandwich for my food. It was a nice sandwich with a hefty amount of turkey on focaccia (not something I'm used to). Mmm a nice sandwich, but nothing crazy to me. For my drink, I got a Mango Matcha. I had assumed it was a matcha latte, but was pleasantly surprised that it was more of a refresher - similar to a more-common matcha lemonade. The mango nectar went well with the matcha to balance each other out and I would suggest this happen at more places! My girlfriend got the Filipino Breakfast Sammy (my anticipated meal). This also came on a nice focaccia, with some cheese and a nice square egg. The Filipino aspects felt a bit off to me, with the longanisa patty not having the bouncy texture I was accustomed to, and was much more peppery than sweet, a sweet additional sauce would have been nice. I also think the atchara could have also been more pickled. For her drink, she got a Tiramisu Latte. This wasn't actually on the menu, but they let her make the Tiramisu Cold Brew into a latte. There wasn't much of a difference than a normal latte, so there was that. We're used to mega sugar coffee, so this wasn't really for us. The space itself was very cozy and felt very communal. Overall, there seemed to be lots of appreciation for Asian culture in the space as well as the menu. I think maybe our picks weren't too much for us, but I think they do have other options that may have been more up our alley. Something I'll say is that while the area was nice, the staff did not seem to really want to be there. Ordering at the counter felt awkward and we just did not get a welcoming vibe at all. Just a very so-so experience for us this time.
