By far my favorite restaurant in the area! I've been here 10+ times and is always my go to when friends ask "where you wanna eat?" They food is very good and is priced about accordingly, it's definitely more expensive than other restaurants but isn't too bad, overall with the music playing and being able to look into the kitchen just gives off a good vibe, definitely will continue to come. read more

Great burgers - thick and well seasoned. Their homemade fries are good. However, I think they are over-cooked. I had take out and did not get to experience their service. The ambiance is somewhat rustic. They have melted vinyl records as decoration on the walls. The tables are well spaced making it a great place to have dinner without feeling crowded. read more

Do not think mozzarella sticks you get elsewhere - this is high quality (homemade?) mozzarella and is delicious! I generally don't like run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks but love these! Then I got the Andouille Meatloaf over mashed potatoes with asparagus. Everything was perfect including the asparagus grilled but still crunchy, not stringy or soggy. My wife got the Bomb Diggity Burger. Again, this is not your typical burger! Paired with their home-made potatoe chips, it was wonderful. We found the restaurnt a little cold yesterday but the food amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I highly recommend the Stone House Grille but would warn you: we went on a Tuesday night and the was not quite full but nearly so requiring us to park across the street[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. So far, we have been here for breakfast (inside before Covid) and outdoor dining 2-3 times during the pandemic and they have knocked it out of the park each time. They are not currently offering breakfast. The owners make it a point to introduce themselves and are super appreciative of their customers. To date, we have had their enormous salads with super fresh and local ingredients, wings (the whole wing kind...get a big messy, but very creative flavors), burgers and a healthier chicken wrap. Oh, and be sure to try the short rib nachos if you find them on the menu. Just amazing. Hares Hill brewing is affiliated with the restaurant and they offer a nice variety of beers and they have all been very solid. Also, now selling four packs locally at at Tony Joe's House of Great Eats in Pottstown (real close to 100/23 intersection...Wilson's Corner area). Highly recommend checking this place out, especially when you will be able to dine indoors. Super cute and rustic space. read more

The food is always flawless here, but those burgers will make you cry. And you'll never try them all because they always have a new one. The building itself is really cool and the staff is really sweet and funny. We get takeout a lot because we're lazy, and they always remember the extra sauce, no onions, etc. and I appreciate that attention to detail. read more

I was in the Kimberton area on other business and dropped in with friends for lunch on a weekday. The beer and wine list were both pretty good. I tried the blackened shrimp tacos and was pleased, not swimming in some rich sauce like some places would make them. Service was good. Parking looked like a challenge- both lots in front of and behind the restaurant were full, but a quick call to them revealed that the lower lot at the Kimberton Inn across the intersection is the overflow lot. We were just passing through the area when we stopped at the Stone House Grill. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. You know the space is really old but it also gives off a youthful vibe. I had the short rib nachos. It was literally enough food for 4 people and maybe the best nachos I have ever had. I wish we lived closer. We would certainly be regulars. read more

Absolutely no complaints with anything here..... except the noise level. Food delish, but the stone floors and walls make for quite a bit of bouncing sound. Burgers were big and juicy, cooked to perfection, and service was very good. I do like that they offer a children's menu, and even accommodated a particularly picky junior eater in our party. Prices are average. A great place to join friends for a bite to eat, but be prepared to have to work at hearing conversation. read more

Solid 4.25/5. Had to park a little ways, but easy walk. Reservations apparently recommended; we were able to get seats at the bar/counter on a Sunday morning. Mix of large groups and couples. Limited local beer/wine/cocktails, but creative. Nice atmosphere; some may think loud but we could talk fine. We both ordered That Vegan Dish, one w/eggs. Tasty and nutritious. Looks like they are setup for music and there's one tv in the bar area. Overall small space but windows on 3 sides help it appear more spacious. I could see us coming back for dinner. Excellent Brunch experience with very friendly service. Their jambalaya is thus far the best outside of NOLA. French Toast Soufflé is one fine breakfast entree, not overly sweet, smooth and moist tasty meal. However, the table next to us had blackberries and blueberries with whip cream...ours had a single blackberry (?!). Not a big deal to me, perhaps for some people, consistency could be an issue. Beef & Andouille Sausage burger is quite a delight, cooked perfectly medium. Brioche roll compliments burger. It came with this outstanding herb flavored/seasoned fries on the side. Parking is indeed a challenge, we got lucky the second attempt for a Sunday brunch. Limited space at front and back of the building. read more

The food here was amazing, I had the crab blt and my gf had the French toast, both were great. The owner was there eating with her family and would get up to go around to ask people how their meals were or talk, bust tables, and help in the kitchen. Awesome dining experience! This is clearly a local hot spot and I could see why. My burger was excellent (the beef plus andouille sausage mix was amazing) and cooked exactly as I had requested. I also liked that I was able to get a salad instead of chips. I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal without my server hovering, which is always a pleasure, even though they were quite busy when I arrived. And while I ate, there was a very good guitarist and vocalist providing live music, which was a very fun surprise. My only quibble is that the beer selection skews pale and hoppy. If you love IPAs you're all set, as someone looking for a more malty brew, perhaps with some color to it, I didn't find much. I ended up opting for a pilsner, which was very good, but I would have loved to see a maerzen, or a farmhouse ale, or pretty much anything amber to brown and not dry-hopped. Still, all considered, it was a delicious meal with excellent atmosphere and service. I'd definitely go back! read more

A month ago, we brought a visiting couple from Scotland to make up our 6 top. There is a nice ambiance in the stone interior, but the acoustics were jarring, and loud. Our server had to yell to be heard. The service was fine, as were the salmon, the tacos, & the chicken sandwich. Three of us ordered fish & chips including one of the Scots. Very disappointed all round. If you're going to mess with a classic, it better be good. A gigantic mound of absolutely over Bay seasoned fries arrived rectangle fish fingers leaning on the mountain all the way around. Fish was more crispy than breaded. They need to inform people that the fries are just soaked in Bay Seasoning. terrible. Why attempt to reinvent the wheel? read more

We called at 11 AM this past Saturday for a reservation for 2 that evening. They said 6:30, but that it would be a high-top table. They didn't explain that the stools had no back support, but no big deal. We immediately noticed that with the hard surfaces (floor, ceiling, walls) and crowded conditions, the noise was deafening. My Apple Watch even gave me a loud environment notification. We arrived on time, and when we were seated we were advised that the kitchen was backed up. We put our drink order in at 6:40, and ordered our entrees at 6:50. Our entrees arrived at 7:42! Our server did not stop by for that entire time, to apologize, offer a drink refill, nothing. In fact, after our entrees arrived, I had to get up to get the server's attention so I could get another soda. The next day, I emailed the restaurant and explained what had happened. The owner, Bill, replied to me. He said "thank you". No "we're sorry, we were overwhelmed, we had new staff in the kitchen". Nothing. I replied saying that his response was inappropriate, and I haven't received a response. Neither do I expect one at this point. The food wasn't bad, but the uncaring attitude of both staff and management was appalling. We will NEVER be back again. read more

So yummy! I do hope they stick around. I had the mahi mahi tacos and the fish was perfectly done. They were good about me being gluten free and happily put a side salad on the plate (that was perfectly dressed and better than just some lettuce with a few tomatoes). My wife and I popped in for the first time last Friday. The atmosphere is relaxing and rustic. The service is good and friendly. We had the BBQ burger and they were fresh and delicious. The beer is from Hares Hill Brewery and I had two of the IPAs and my wife had the raspberry wheat ale. No complaints and they complemented the burgers perfectly. We really enjoyed the ambience and the excellent live music. My only complaint was that the volume of the music made it very difficult to carry on a conversation.
