I typically avoid "mall food" at all costs, but one day in the Galleria, hunger struck, and I took my chances with Stone Oven. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm too lazy to make salads at home so went with the Goat Cheese Chicken Salad. Comes with, surprise surprise, goat cheese, chicken breast, mixed greens, bacon, avocado, cashews, and honey balsamic dressing (sans onions for me). Portion was too big for me to finish in one sitting. Everything was fresh and the ingredients complemented each other nicely. I'm cutting back on bread/carbs but it came with fresh warm focaccia bread and I couldn't help but try it. The bread was nice and soft with a lightly crispy outer layer, too good to resist! Food was prepared fresh before my eyes, ready quickly, and very reasonably priced. Next time I'm in the Galleria and find myself hungry, I will not hesitate to try Stone Oven again. read more

A line of customers waiting, and after some minutes standing there we're unceremoniously informed that it'll be 10 minutes before they can even take our orders -- because they're too busy fulfilling online deliveries. What's the point of having a location in a mall foodcourt if you can't serve mall customers? Is it worth paying mall rents when this could just be operated out of a remote kitchen? Does @Glendale Galleria benefit if customers to its stores are deprioritized over the customers who are ordering online delivery? I'm not particularly bothered, as this simply prompts me to leave the mall earlier than I'd planned. But these are the idle questions I have read more

We have ordered Stone Over a few times from Eat 24. The quality is pretty good, and the prices are great. I did find the portions a bit on the small side, but they are in line with the price to quantity ratio that one would except. I typically get the spicy chicken with avocado sandwich. It has good flavor and the bread is good. It is perfect for a lunch spot, but I don't think that I would be satisfied for dinner. I think that we also would add a plate of cookies, which were probably 3-star cookies. Nothing special there. However, due to the great tasting sandwich and reasonable prices on Eat 24, this is a repeat for me! read more

This is my favorite place to go to whenever I am in a shopping mall. The food tasted differently than other chains I have been to. It tasted okay, but something was off. After a few bites my wife and I felt that it might have been the cheese - it had an odd smell and a strong aftertaste. We suspected it might have been expired. What a surprise. The food court was packed and there was no line at Stone Oven. So - had to do it. My friend and I split a sandwich, which was perfect. It would have been too much food for one person. The bread was awesome and the sun dried tomato side salad yummy. The sandwich itself tasted great. Very rude customer service. Was standing at the counter for approximately 5 minutes with 2 employees in front of me. They never acknowledged me, just very rudely said were not taking any orders, we already have orders. I had Stone Oven for the first time today for a company lunch, and I immediately fell in love. I can't believe a full sized lunch only costs you ~$8.95 here.. but on top of that, the flavors are incredible. The focaccia bread they use for their sandwiches/that's included in their salads is one of a kind. It is one of the tastiest breads I've ever had... I ordered the garlic & basil chicken sandwich and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The potato salad that I got as my side (you have the choice of house salad/caesar salad/potato salad/pasta salad) was equally as amazing!! While the pasta salad is great, I think the potato salad will have your tastebuds begging for more. I HIGHLY recommend Stone Oven, and I know I'll be coming here more often as well. PS. my coworkers commend the Santa fe hot ham sandwich, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the bbq brisket sandwich. Basically, every sandwich on the menu is great!!! read more

Not a good experience. I was looking forward to getting their Chinese chicken salad as I had tried it at the topanga canyon mall. The experience in the Glendale galleria was night an day from topanga. The salad was mostly lettuce with some chicken and almonds. No wontons or sesame seeds in the salad and when i asked for a fork (to cut up the big pieces of lettuce, they said they didn't have one. We asked for a towel to wipe down the table. They said to take a napkin and dip it in the water surrounding the water bottles. That was certainly a first! Plus, the salad dressing was very thick. We looked forward to eat sandwiches when we visited the location at the Glendale Galleria and unfortunately it was not the same. It didn't taste as fresh and the pesto pasta didn't look as green from when I first tried it.
