Clearly their food quality has gone down, bread that took forever to come and when it came it was stale and Over cooked broccoli to a point where it was brown. I understand things happen but not when it comes to something to simple to manage. And they weren't even busy. I had a wonderful pick up order experience here today! Thank you to Krystal, you're the stylish MVP girl! I placed an order online and drove 15 minutes from the medical center I was at to pick up food for a family member who was having a procedure done and I wanted to be sure I'd be back in time to pick him up (I was told I had 30 minutes). Olive Garden is his favorite restaurant and he never gets to go because his wife hates it, so I figured it was the best opportunity for him to have some especially since he fasted since 7pm the night before. I arrived about 10 minutes before my quoted pick up time of 1:22 pm and checked in at their designated spot in the parking structure which was also very easy to find. I was fully expecting to wait longer than the quoted time, especially since it was lunch time and the fact that I was early too, but Krystal came out so quickly and she was SO happy and friendly. She got me on my way within minutes! Literally minutes! I was shocked at how fast and seamless it was. I forgot and didn't check the bag until I got back to the medical center and I truly appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into packing the order. There was extra material separating the hot food with the cold salad and everything was labeled. I asked for utensils in both the checked box section and also in the notes section because I was worried it would not be included (we would be in the car for over 30 minutes and I wanted him to be able to eat it) and Krystal did not miss a beat. I've ordered from the Northridge location several times before and it was never right so I am so truly appreciative that they made it so easy. The process was perfect. The order was perfect. The recipient was so happy to find his surprise Olive Garden waiting for him that he ate the breadstick within seconds of getting in the car. I remember this Olive Garden, just around the corner from my former job's Glendale office. The best of their locations. My one previous visit was of an order of their tasty Citrus Chicken Sorrento. Which I don't believe they still offer. Unfortunately. This visit was a married couples reunion from our Carnival Radiance cruise we took this past November. Tonight there were 16 of us; 8 couples. All at the expense of the group couples leaders. Still a warm atmosphere, great for any occasion; and I couldn't say that about most Olive Gardens. Free validated parking the first two hours included. And conveniently located just blocks from the Americana on Brand. Our hard working server was Jeremy. First taking our drink orders then everyone's entrees. For me it was the Grilled Chicken Margherita with broccoli, and a lemonade. While the Mrs went with the Chicken and Gnocchi. With plenty of all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks to go around the table. My order of chicken was decent and very tender. Hers was a bit overcooked and overly seasoned. But the salad and breadsticks were superb! My lemonade was from a mix and just average. But for dessert, the order of Italian Donuts (10), with chocolate and raspberry sauces were out of this world delicious! I ate just one, I believe my wife had two. The rest we took to-go. It's time for an update! Since the week of mine and my friends's birthday was continuing, another friend of mine and I decided to stop by this lovely Olive Garden Italian Restaurant that is always a pleasure to dine in. I have been at this Glendale location so many times and it never disappoints. Have been there like at least 10 times back in 2025, but didn't do an update, unless something changes to the good or not so good. There is something to eat and drink for everyone. I love Olive Garden so much so I suggested my friend to celebrate both of our birthdays together, since our days are 3 days apart and prices are fair. We went there around 1:15pm on the 16th of this month and since we haden't seen each other for over 15 years, there was a lot of catching up to do. It was really nice seeing her again:-) Our server Sam came to take our order and we both got something else. I usually like to get their Seafood Alfredo which is always delicious. This time around I opted for the Taste of Italy which came with breaded chicken with melted cheese on top, small portion of linguini, and Ravioli with meat, covered with SO much Marinara sauce that was also covered with so much SALT! I couldn't finish my meal. It was also not good. She got their Chicken Piccata with capers on top and side of veggies. She liked her food. It also comes with their salad which contains a lot of healthy fresh vegetables. Also their nice, warm, delicious breadsticks. For drinks, we got a large size of sparkling water. Complimentary dessert for both of us. Tiramisu which was sooo good and decadent!! We each got our own Tiramisu and Sam sang Happy Birthday for us. Thank you Sam for a wonderful, excellent service! Great Italian music playing overhead. Chill ambiance with beautiful ancient, vintage, pictures/decor everywhere. They also have good wine selection and other types of alcoholic beverages. They serve soda, iced tea, hot tea, coffee, lemonade etc... Place is always SPOTLESS CLEAN, including the restrooms. Plenty of underground parking inside the garage that is also shared with other establishments. The first 2 hours are free with validation. This is a 5 star restaurant. I would rate this 10 stars only for the waiter! He was amazing! However the food was not good. The paste and lasagna came lukewarm. You can tell it was microwaved. The fettuccine didn't have enough sauce. (The waiter was very kind and kept getting my sauce). Unfortunately both my daughter and I got food poisoning. Woke up at 1 and 3 am vomiting. The food was absolutely delicious! I have never tasted flavors like this anywhere else. We enjoyed the Spicy Rigatoni, Caesar Salad, and the Tour of Italy, and everything was amazing. It was just one of those days when I really wanted to go to the Olive Garden! I had seen an ad on TV and it lured me in. I guess the ad was working! I had buyer's remorse after my meal. The Toscana soup tasted like it had been poured from other people's leftovers, and was extremely hot (a sign of overheating). My shrimp-chicken carbonara was bland, so lots of cheese and salt was required. The chicken was oddly gooey. The Tour of Italy was somewhat decent, but nothing special. Came here with my partner and friends and had a decent dinner and experience. In the beginning we were having trouble deciding to stay at the restaurant because there was no AC and no ventilation. We decided to stay because we were hungry and it was already getting late. We ordered food and the food was good, but the breadsticks were extremely salty. We did eat it, but one friend couldn't due to it physically hurt his mouth because of how salty it was. Service was okay. our server, wasn't very attentive at times and took a long time to get us bags when we needed to box our orders. Had a silly Olive Garden date night here and it was super enjoyable! All the food and drinks we ordered came quick and were warm and well done. My partner and I split an order of chicken Marsala fettuccine, it was a good portion! The only thing that was a little off was the ambiance inside. My beautiful sissy Melineh was obsessed with going to Olive Garden. At first, I thought she was joking but she was serious. She had her heart set on that big bowl of salad and even knew about their special cheese grater. Unfortunately, I had a bad reaction to some medicine and was extremely nauseous so I could not eat. It was so bad I couldn't even drink my cocktail, which really bummed me out. However, sis was thrilled when they brought out the cheese grater to douse the salad with piles of freshly grated parmesan. She also enjoyed the calamari & her pasta. The manager came by to talk to us and brought a complimentary Sicilian Cheesecake for her birthday. The staff were all very friendly and also stopped by to chat.
