    Breakfast burrito with sausage
    Charley B.

I would say this is a trending place I have been saying on TikTok and I think the burritos are good. They are very big, and I would probably recommend the bacon or veggie but the sausage was a little bit too much. The Caribbean salad was fine but honestly I don't think I would get again, kind of weird tastes with sweet and savory + a heavy dressing - weird mix. However, popular place and good for families with indoor and outdoor seating.

I last visited OG Stone Way Cafe back on 2/21/21...wow over five years ago! I ended up revisiting SWC at its current location after stopping at a nearby artisan chocolate shop, and wanted to make use of my epic score of a parking spot (3/10/26). I had not eaten yet and tiny samples of chocolate was not going to silence my growling stomach at 230pm! I walked in and there was a sizable crowd in line and also seated throughout the cafe. Judging from the laptop crowd, there must be decent available WiFi connection. The posted menus offered a nice variety of food, beverages, and snack items. The staff were really upbeat and welcoming: from the person who rang up my order, another person who crafted my 12oz mocha, and the two folks working the kitchen line. Pretty efficient team working in tandem because the line moved in reasonable time. In addition to my 12oz mocha, I also ordered the Cuban Sandwich, which also came with a side salad. I appreciated the care given to both items - nice latte art, well composed tasty salad (fresh greens, bright vinaigrette, and sunflower seeds), and quite the mammoth, generously filled with roasted pulled pork, ham, melty Swiss cheese, pickle, and mustard. The sandwich was perfected toasted via plancha or on the flat top. Half of it, the salad, and the mocha were all on point. The other half I brought home and was devoured by The Homie. It was also deemed delicious. Glad for the spontaneous detour and revisiting this gem of a spot along Stone Way N.

Very spacious and busy cafe with a lot of seating options. The place was very packed with long lines but it moved quickly. I got a breakfast burrito and it was very fulfilling and fresh. I wouldn't say it was what I would expect from a popular cafe but nothing that stood out. Overall it was a good experience and I would try to give it another shot with something else on the menu.

I've been meaning to go to this place for a while and I am SO glad I finally made it! The breakfast burrito was fantastic, and there were several other items on the menu I'll be back to try. Service was also excellent, they were able to make substitutions for dietary restraints without problems. Overall vibe of the restaurant was also amazing, even on a weekday! Would highly recommend!

    Breakfast Enchilada Stack (rating: 2/5)
    Lydia L.

We've been here several times. - The first time we visited, I ordered some random salad on the menu. It was not super fresh, didn't taste good, and overall underwhelming. My partner was not impressed by whatever he ordered either. This visit was 2/5. - Then several months later we decided to give it another try. This time my partner found out that they had vegan breakfast burrito and tried that, and I tried their meat breakfast burrito as well. It was average good. Definitely a decent burrito but flavor-wise it's no match for the breakfast burrito from Mas Cafe in the same neighborhood. I'd rate it 3.5~4/5 - Recently, we visited again for dining-in. This time I tried their breakfast enchilada stack. It was huge, and IG looked tasty? since people sitting near me asked me what it was and seemed to want to try it in the future. But I was not impressed at all... the flavor was extremely basic - just savory, which was disappointing. The sauce was way too heavy and salty even though they already put most of it on the side as I requested. The chorizo was... meh - maybe I'm just not a fan of chorizo. The texture was very mushy and kinda gross... everything just blended together... it was a huge disappointment. Worst enchilada I've ever had. Only pro was the huge portion, but if you don't enjoy the food, that's irrelevant. Rating: 1/5.

A solid cafe with ample seating inside and outside. It was quite busy over the weekend when we dropped by for coffee. I got the Team Jacob latte which was quite good. I liked the light hint of hazelnut in it. No food this time but hopefully the next visit.

    Cajun Benedict
    Nikita S.

After reading great reviews about the breakfast burrito and Cajun Benedict, I decided to give this place a try. It's more of a casual, fast-food-style spot where you order and pay at the counter, pick up your food yourself, and choose any available seating both indoor and outdoor. We visited on a Sunday around 11:30 AM and the place was packed. I ordered the Cajun Benedict, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The Cajun was barely cooked and the eggs meant to be poached were completely overcooked. They were more like hard-boiled eggs, and I even had to remove the yolk. On top of that, the fries were bland and lacked any seasoning. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be coming back.

First breakfast stop in Seattle didn't disappoint! I got the breakfast sandwich, which was incredible. The potatoes were a major skip as they were so soggy for both me and my friend, but the sandwich itself was delicious. Would have loved to come back and try something else but didn't have time! The WA mural was awesome to look at, too!

My wrap was a little dry but good flavor and the salad was very delicious! The drip coffee was very strong but ok overall. Very quick service! And lots of open seating! Would come back!

I'll keep it quick and simple with Stone Way Cafe - a solid spot in Fremont. We enjoyed the vibe of the shop, especially on a sunny day. Additionally, we received our food quickly and both dishes were good portion sizes. The food was good, but not elite. Good vibes, service, and food. 4/5 stars and I would recommend checking it out for yourself.

    Matcha and coconut cold brew
    Alex V.

Stone Way Cafe was one of those spots I followed on Instagram long before I finally got the chance to visit. Known for their breakfast burritos, I made my way there on a sunny Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. It was easy to find free street parking just a few blocks away, but as expected, there was already a line of 15+ people out the door. It's clear the staff have a solid process down, because we only had to wait about 15 mins for our order. My friend and I each ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, a side of potatoes, a matcha oat milk latte, and their special coconut cold brew. The burritos were generously sized and packed with flavor. We didn't realize they already came with potatoes inside, so the extra side of potatoes ended up being a bit much which was good to know for next time. Towards the end, my burrito was pretty oily but that makes sense since it was sausage. Both drinks were solid, but nothing to write home about. I really appreciated that the restaurant offered a variety of hot sauces -- sriracha, Valentino's, and Tapatío -- which is essential for me when it comes to breakfast. Prices were fair for Seattle, especially considering the portion sizes and quality. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great spot year-round. Next time I'm in the area, I'd love to swing by for lunch -- their other food and drink items looked just as tempting!

Service was amazing and fast despite it being a busy sunday morning. The Breakfast Burrito was SO good! My boyfriend also really liked the Waffles with strawberry syrup. We'll definitely be returning.

Breakfast Burrito Pulled pork Breakfast Sandwich
    Candice L.

A solid spot for breakfast and lunch in the Fremont area! I've been to Stone Way on multiple occasions and all of their sandwich/ breakfast items are great. I particularly like their breakfast sandwich with pulled pork which comes with a fried egg, savory herb tomato sauce, cheddar, and mixed greens as well as a side of home fries. The only reason why I didn't give a 5 stars is because I've had a bad experience with their coffee before, but it could have just been an one-off situation. Overall still a great casual spot for food, hanging out and catching up with friends.

got the Notorious PIG sandwich and the Buttermilk Biscuit while I was here…read more Starting with the sandwich, there were a ton of things to love about this The very first thing I noticed was how all-time crispy the pork belly was. Interestingly, the meat came in two separate pieces, arranges somewhat like an X or a cross in the middle of the sandwich. This certainly wasn't the eating experience of a typical sandwich with a circular meat patty, and I appreciate the creativity here. The meat was insanely crunchy, oily, and quite plentiful. Each bite felt a bit like you were biting into a crunchy churro, but without the sweetness. I did think the outside of the pork did overpower the inside, though, as I didn't taste the meat or the fat inside much, and due to the amount of breading the pieces ended up being a bit chewy The bun was quite good as well - it was pretty soft, fluffy, and served as a really good bookend to all the ingredients inside. I thought the lettuce and onions also were good. I don't know if I'm a fan of the jelly on the sandwich - but again, I do like the creativity. What did shine here was the aioli, however. In a lot of places, you don't really taste the aioli on a burger - but that flavor was ever-present on this sandwich, and it was really fantastic. The absolute best part of the meal, by far, though, was the biscuit I have to start with how huge this is. This is certainly not the size of a typical Southern-style buttermilk biscuit - rather this biscuit makes no apologies in its effort to stand out from the crowd. Absolutely nobody would mistake this for a traditional biscuit - on the contrary, I think on first glance most people would assume this isn't a biscuit at all. It's shaped more like a massive pastry. I hesitate to say that looks are deceiving, because it does look great, but its taste manages to elevate past that. This was SO good. The edges are baked perfectly - they're oily, crispy, crunchy, and perfectly flaky. All four sides provide an amazing base - like the walls of a fortress that surround the soft, tender interior of the biscuit. You can see the different layers from the outside as well. When it comes to the inside, there was so much to get through but every bite was heavenly. So much credit here goes to the honey butter - which when spread onto the biscuit, raises the taste level of the entire thing. I put so much honey butter on mine that I nearly finished the whole thing. When it came to the jam, it was good, but since it didn't combine great with the honey butter I mostly ended up just using the latter This place was expensive - around 16 dollars for the sandwich and 8 for the biscuit - however, I was quite full at the end

However, today may have been an off day for the team and there were a few new faces. After a long day of work, I just wanted grab food and go home. I ordered takeout for my family's dinner tonight, and unfortunately, the portion sizes were inconsistent. The beef curry and chicken curry were only half-full containers, and the three large orders of rice were also barely half-full. Additionally, the spring rolls appeared fresh, but their quality was questionable. It may have been an off day, and certainly a couple of new staff. However, it was disappointing considering the usual quality of their food and price point. Before writing this review, I had already prepared the curries in a pan. Therefore, they are not pictured. Oh, and a vodka lemonade - you can get cocktails delivered via DoorDash! Everything was super good, especially the chili cheese dog. They were really generous with the chili (a full cup of it) and it was delicious. The lemonade is made from scratch and I really enjoyed that, as well - not too sweet. When we did takeout, we each got a sandwich, and we also got a Chicago dog, "chum bucket" w/ tots, and a handful of cocktails. I'd had kind of a bad week and was basically like, I don't even care, let's just get whatever we want even if it's an insane amount of stuff, haha. They do single serving craft cocktails for takeout in little cans, which is pretty cool. And they were SO GOOD (all with very clever nautical-themed names). I think our favorite was the "No Ship Sherlock" seasonal Moscow mule. The Chicago dog was amazing - based on this and my previous chili cheese dog, I can say without hesitation that their hotdogs are 100% 10/10. The "chum bucket" tots were also really good, and again came with a very generous full cup of chili. I hate to say it because everything else was so good, but the sandwiches were pretty disappointing for the price, we both thought. I had a tuna sandwich and my bf had a veggie sandwich. They used fresh, quality ingredients, but both sandwiches were kind of bland, and a lot smaller than we were expecting for $14 apiece. That's the only reason I dropped a star, but aside from that, they are 5 star all the way. So, we would not revisit the sandwiches, but hotdogs and cocktails HELL YES YES YES!! Anything involving the chili is also highly recommended. And although I didn't really go into detail about it, chicken tenders were good, too (there were more in there than what the photo shows) - crispy and well-seasoned, and more than what I was expecting.

Daruma has the set up of a no-frills establishment that knows they're going to be churning out orders. The kiosk order system isn't that common in the US because it seems ridiculously unfriendly, but Japan is about efficiency with a focus on the food. They only had two people working here so it was slow, but absolutely worth it. The spicy chicken katsu was incredible. Everything that was on this sandwich had a reason for being there. The cutlet itself was incredibly juicy and crispy. The right amount of sauce was applied so as to not make the sandwich itself soggy (critical on a sandwich with fried elements), and then the cabbage on top gives it a bit of freshness. I'm pretty sure the bread was fine, but that isn't why we're here. It's a vessel for fried food. The fries seem to need a bit of work. I think they may have gotten soggy because they came in a to-go box, but the seasoning was fantastic. They also come with whatever sauce you want, and there is a plethora to choose from.
