Craved some beef for my birthday dinner and decided to go to SFG with my family. The place looked like it was getting ready to close down its sit-down service with tables stacked in the middle of the room. Ordered tri-tip for 4. While the meat was okay, the employees all acted like they would rather be someplace else. Not a single smile. The clincher came when my son asked one of the servers if they had any birthday treats for patrons and was informed that yes, but it would be charged to my bill as a dessert. This location has been more and more disappointing each time I go. The staff is rude and not welcoming. The food is inconsistent. I did notice each time I go the business is slower, maybe there's a reason to it. I went this one night, towards closing time, but that shouldn't effect the quality of the food given. I stopped by to get some shareable carrot cake. I ordered after waiting 16 minutes behind a woman that was unable to decide what to order. The employee helping her was very curt and impatient with that customer. A nice young man came to take my order. I approached the register and ordered my shareable cake. I paid and before the nice young man could go get me my cake, the woman at the register next to mine, asked him to switch her single serving cake order to a share size. There I stood as she went on about the cake charge, the employee made me wait another 15 minutes while he explained the difference in price. I WAITED OVER 30 minutes to get carrot cake at the take out line. The ordering process is chaotic, the takeout area I has no direction. I couldn't believe how unprofessional the service was here. My party arrived at about 1pm, the location was not busy at all. When we went to order, the man at the register was very impatient, rude, and had an attitude while we ordered. He tried rushing us through the order and even tried to ring us up before I even finished ordering. To add, I asked about 3 questioned while ordering, every for questioned asked he impolitely replied " it's on the menu", very unprofessional. Once we paid and sat down, the server (who was kind to us) brought our nachos that were obviously old/ not made fresh, this was made obvious by the stale chips, wilted vegetables, and coagulated cheese. They also forgot to bring out our bread and other sides until I reminded the hosted/ cashier. Once our Tri-tip came out, it was completely COLD. I am not exaggerating, it seemed as if they took it straight out of the refrigerator. Because of this, I let our server know which he replied "it should be cold" and walked away into the kitchen, but we never saw him again after that. Our sides came out about 5 minuets later ( which is fine) except for the fact that they forgot 3 out of the 5 sides we ordered. Again, I reminded the host/ cashier that we did not receive our sides, but didn't believe we even ordered them until I showed him my receipt. My party and I were in good spirited the entire time up until this point after the man at the register gave us even more attitude. I contacted CS via the website after this, who told me to call back, once I did, no one answered It's hard to believe that this location gave out COLD Tri-tip, gave us old food, forgot our sides, and still gave us attitude when we asked for help. The most upsetting part is that we spent over $100 and none of the staff tried to fix or make anything better. The host/cashier, kitchen, and mangers need to get it together because this was absolutely unacceptable and one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. read more

Today was amazing!' Ordered lunch for the office and everything came out correctly, fresh and hot. My lunch was simply delicious. I got the petite chicken breast with tri tip with some mashed potatoes and omg it was so good. The tri tip was so soft and juicy and the chicken was super juicy loved the lemon garlic flavor. My family and I had not been here for a while and unfortunately was disappointed by our most recent visit. Food was ok, yet food delivery service was awful. My husband ordered a salmon personal meal with salad and mash potatoes. This all came out at different times over a span of 5 minutes. If it's a "meal" you would think the food would be all together. 10 minutes later, my son received his appetizer. When we asked if they had a spicy sauce for it, they said they would check, yet never came back. My Caprese Sandwich was brought out to me 20 minutes after the appetizer. By that time, my family was done eating! The sandwich was also a disappointment as it was drenched with pesto sauce, which I like, yet it was not good with the ration of mozzarella/tomato. I'm happy to say they still have the Stimulus package which consists of dinner for a family of four. A small pizza, choice of salad, and a protein. Their tri-trip is my favorite, always cooked to your preference. Food always warm and nicely packaged. Favorite time to order is for holidays. Sometimes their sides is all I order to supplement home meals. Only thing is that the breadsticks are never enough. Eating inside, in their patio or take out as they don't have delivery. We settled on coming to here to celebrate my grandmothers birthday. We went all out and got 'The Works' for $230. It says it's for 20 people, we were 13 and had some pretty good leftovers. If you want different items, there's an up-charge. The guy at the counter at the counter was so nice and SO helpful! I wish I could get his name, we asked the girl first but she was being trained, so he took the opportunity to help us and train her simultaneously, without missing a beat! The food was DELICIOUS, my faves are the macaroni & cheese, and mashed potatoes. The South of the border salad is to die for. The red sauce pastas are usually bland at this place, but I don't care since there's so much good. We had a great time and we were accommodated outside with some nice outdoor heaters to beat the cold. The food was our VERY quick too and it was all hot & fresh. Will be coming back. read more

Had a very unfortunate online pick up experience here today. I was hosting an event and catered food and chose to go with Stonefire. Sadly, they felt to meet expectations by being 30 mins behind! Not only was the staff not being attentive, they were disorganized and all over the map trying to locate orders. The pick up process was not set up properly as people who already checked in were mixed with people waiting to notify the restaurant that they were there. I used to really enjoy Stonefire Grill. I went to the one in Chatsworth today for lunch and it was kind of MEH. The service was fast but the food was not as good as I remembered it from a few years ago. We got Caesar salad, tri-tip, and baby back ribs. The portions were generous. The meat was overcooked making it a little dry and tough. This is weird because we were there at 11:42am. The tri-tip was not sliced all the way through so when you tried to get a slice it would pick up the entire tri-tip. The breadsticks were good and the salad was ok. It wasn't a terrible experience but it wasn't as good as it was a few years ago. Maybe they were having a bad day but I'm not in a big hurry to go back again to find out. About $30 per person before tip, no alcohol. There were leftovers but no one was super excited to take them. read more

Unfortunately, they did not give my correct order- which would have been okay and we could've moved on BUT the chicken was pink. All of it. All pink. HOW did you mess up chicken?! Like, just cook it. Cook it all the way through. That's it. We had no chicken to serve and for me, it's sloppy and unforgivable to serve raw meat. I called all evening to try to get it fixed- I even would have picked up new chicken and no one answered. What a hot mess. read more

I really enjoy coming to stonefire, the bbq chicken is my favorite! We love their pizza as well. We usually do one of the family packages. I definitely think their bbq food is better than other places around. I find that this location is more busy on the weekends than the weekdays. It is pretty spacious they have seating inside and outside and there is lots of parking as its in a very large shopping center. I've never had an issue with staff here. Overall highly recommended giving stonefire a try. read more

What ever you do, don't ask for your salmon to be cooked "medium ". I ordered it "medium" and it came well (to go). When I called the person answering said "sorry, we can't cook it medium". $20 for a small piece of salmon I could have gotten at Trader Joe's double the size fir $10 and cooked it the way I like it.
