    Spicy Chicken Bites
    Diana S.

I really enjoyed my visit to this location! It was my first time dining here, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and even though it was very busy, the staff did an excellent job serving everyone quickly and efficiently. The food was amazing! The bread was fresh and delicious, the butterfly filet mignon was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the loaded baked potato was excellent. The honey Brussels sprouts were absolutely incredible, definitely a must try. The Parmesan chicken was flavorful and delicious, and the mango lemonade was outstanding. If you visit, make sure you order one, it's that good! I also have to mention the spicy chicken bites. They were absolutely divine! In fact, I recommend ordering two servings because one won't be enough. The only slight disappointment was the lobster and shrimp soup. While the flavor was good, there wasn't much lobster or shrimp in it. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommended!

The Bottom Line 4 stars: An excellent choice for reasonably priced, everyday steak and barbecue and drinks! Highly recommended! Location 4: On the Northern edge of the Northridge Fashion Center in Northridge, CA, off of Plummer Street (between Tampa and Corbin). Self-parking is free but hard to find as there are way too many businesses there that attract large crowds, including an AMC Theatre. There is no Valet parking near the restaurant. The few EV charging stations at the mall are a few minutes of walk and always occupied. The restaurant is a standalone building, it is not located inside the mall. Venue 4: Built and opened in 2024. The entrance leads you first to the reception area. To your left are the wait area and a good-sized full bar that also offers a few tables in open seating arrangement where you could order food and drinks without waiting for dining room seating. To the right is a medium/large sized dining room. It is nicely appointed in a modern Texas steakhouse motif. Indoor and Outdoor seating. They seem to accommodate very large parties well. Service 3.5: Polite, friendly, and (mostly) attentive, but service is server-dependent and can vary. Food 4: We had the 12 oz. Strip, the 9 oz. (Flo's) Filet Mignon, the 12 oz. Ribeye, and the 10 oz. Salmon. All meals come with a chopped salad (garden or Caesar) and your choice of a side (or you can get 2 sides if you prefer). Some other salads and sides come at a premium (for an additional charge). All main courses were excellent and a must try. The steaks were correctly cooked to the right temperature and tasted great. all highly recommended. Drinks 4: Full Bar: Nice assortment of specialty cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks. The cocktails looked great, featured creative ingredients and tasted wonderful. Some drinks are delivered to your table in a shaker where your server shakes and pours it for you, which is a nice touch. Drink prices were reasonable and on par with similar establishments.

Not sure why it took me so long to try them out, but when Texas Roadhouse is no where to be found, this is a great alternative. My party all claim to be meat connoisseurs , so they were eager to try as well. For starters, we had the complimentary bread and butter plus ordered the Wild West shrimp- fried shrimp on a bed of pickled peppers- aka jalapeños, pepperoncini, red peppers. The little shrimps were lightly fried and juicy. I enjoyed the pickled accouterments which helped bring some acidity to the dish paired with the ranch dipping sauce. Overall, very tasty appetizer. Tried the Longhorn old fashioned which is made with a special small batch Knob Creek whiskey AND also tried a dirty martini - both drinks were SMOOTH. We had some bone-in ribeyes (outlaw ribeye) and Flos filet. Everyone's meat was cooked exactly how they asked with Great sear/grill marks. I thought they were all salted/seasoned very well. Didn't even need to add some more. The meat was TASTY TASTY. The Caesar salad is classic and the strawberry pecan salad has a great variety of flavor. The fries are seasoned which is a plus and the baked sweet potato topped with cinnamon sugar and butter is heaven. Mmmm what a great meal! Staff were also very welcoming and friendly. WILL BE COMING BACK!

We decided to eat here when in town with the family and it was the right decision. I usually have mediocre experience ordering steak at restaurants since I feel that making steaks at home is better for price and nailing the cook. I could say that longhorn executed medium rare perfectly on my porterhouse cut. I ordered crispy Brussel sprouts which seamed to be fried and glazed with hot honey, this was delicious and something new that I hadn't tried at any other restaurant. For my salad, which is offered as a side for every steak ordered, I got ceasar which was a solid choice, nothing out of the ordinary but was better than average. Overall I will definitely be coming back, great customer service, great drink prices and delicious food.

I've got a love-hate relationship with LongHorn Steakhouse. Love it because I genuinely enjoy the food, hate it because I used to work there as a server for a long time. Their steaks are always a hit. At the end of the day, a great steak comes down to the cook, and when there's someone back there who knows what they're doing, you can't really beat it. Especially with their seasoning and some solid sides like mashed potatoes or well-seasoned fries. The ambience is always nice too. Dim lighting, cowboy theme... it's a vibe I've always liked. Service has always been solid in my experience. I haven't had any issues with the locations out here in California. I used to work at the one in Roswell, Georgia, so I was a little unsure when they opened one in Northridge, but it still holds up. It may not have that same southern feel, but it's still LongHorn. Good date spot, good bar spot if you want to grab a drink and talk. Not a super expensive steakhouse, but you're getting a really good steak for what it is.

Just an update. Came back here for a lunch with wifey and it didn't disappoint. As usual, staff are very nice. Fast service and excellent food. Had to try the burger this time and sirloin steak with shrimp for my wife and they were amazingly good. Their bread are to die for, excellent bread and butter. Their corn on the cob are so addicting. I can eat like 10 of those in one seating, lol! Excellent service, excellent food! We are never gonna get tired coming back to this place! 10 stars

Came in New Year's eve, which I know isn't a great day to form your opinion on a restaurant but it was the same exact experience as our previous visit. Sat at one of the bar tables and wasn't greeted for 15 minutes. The bartender was clearly too busy. Two steaks ordered Medium came out completely different, one being very overdone. Fries were cold. When we let the bartender know she said she'd get it fixed, and we also asked for steak sauce which never came. Meanwhile the table behind us had been waiting to be greeted for 15 minutes and asked the host for help. The table behind them had been standing at a dirty table for 10 minutes. We asked to speak with the manager, she wasn't super friendly. Also seemed completely overwhelmed with takeout orders. Let her know her bartender needs more help and support. They comped the overdone steak and gave us a free dessert. This would normally solve any upset, but it's very unfortunate that 2/2 times i've been here and had the same exact experience. Won't come back.

The food is well priced and comes out fresh,We were seated right away since we got on the waitlist beforehand . Ambiance is very Texas and cozy, Our server was attentive even though he was starting to get really busy. For our appetizers we got the Wild West shrimp and stuffed mushroom and they were fantastic choices and portions. I didn't get to take pictures of them since I was starving! Skip the Texas tea as it had no kick to it whatsoever lol but the Jack and coke was well made. I got the ribeye with asparagus and Caesar salad. Ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare. My Sides were good but I loved my husband's brussel sprouts and his 7 pepper steak. It's a drive for us but well worth returning.

I dined here for lunch for the first time (I've been before but only for drinks at the bar). Their menu is very limited but maybe they have a different menu for dinner? Anyway, I didn't really find anything that was interesting so I got the lunch special .... Burger and salad. Salad was good burger was bland. Not sure what I was expecting but it was just bland. What's saving this review is the fantastic service. Everyone was very pleasant, polite and friendly from the second you walk in to the second you walk out. Our waiter was great and very knowledgeable of the menu and drink items (Ishmail... I think I may have spelled it wrong). The manager was wonderful as well. He continued checking on all tables making sure everything is good and stepped in whenever he saw fit. Great service! There's plenty of parking since this place is located in the same shopping center of the Northridge mall. I probably will never come back for food but I will come back for drinks especially during a good game!

I have a bit of a thing for fun American eateries like this, so I admittedly came in with elevated hopes. When our Yard House plan fell through, we walked over the lot to LongHorn - formerly Macaroni Grill. It was a Friday and we had just struck out with Yard House, CPK and Wood Ranch - surprisingly, LongHorn had empty tables and could seat us right away. We were a little suspicious, but grateful. Service was efficient and present. The interior is sizable, and they play sports on the TVs. The booths are comfy enough. We received our order relatively quickly, a short while after we received bread. The bread was not a flavor that I particularly liked, but I can definitely appreciate a restaurant that offers complimentary bread. I had the Steak and Shrimp Skewers with a Baked Potato and side of Broccoli. Everything was decent... Not something I'd come back for, but an okay meal, all the same. Maybe a tad bit high for the price, but also noticeably more cost-effective than some other places nearby.

    Burger with side of broccoli

My son and I went for lunch. It wasn't too busy, and had a lot of staff working. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who seated us immediately, in a booth. The restaurant is decorated nicely and we were close to the bar, so we could see the tv's. Music was a bit louder than I'd prefer. I ordered the 7-pepper sirloin salad that came with a side and I chose the baked potato. My son ordered the burger with a side of broccoli. Our server asked if we wanted bread, and we accepted. Drinks and bread were served quickly. The bread was just okay, the butter was frozen hard. It took over 30 minutes for our meal to arrive. My salad looked like a side salad with 6 bite sized pieces of sirloin. The crust was peppered too strongly! I had asked for no tomato, but it arrived with tomatoes. The baked potato was absolutely delicious! My son enjoyed his burger and he was served a large portion of broccoli. The lunch prices were great, but service was extremely slow.

We decided to come back with friends but on a Wednesday night at 6:30 instead. Sat at a table in the area where the music was but it was very loud and tightly packed with tables and guests. I could barely hear my friends due to the loud conversations, loud laughter, and just the acoustic affects in the restaurant were bad from that. We ordered steak, sides, and thought baked potatoes but got mashed instead. After we ate dinner we asked the manager if we could seat outside for dessert instead due to the loud noises around us. He brought us there but we had to wait at the bar outside till we were seated took an additional 15-20 minutes. After seated it was better than inside with a nice decor too instead. Dessert was ok service good. For such a high-ended restaurant and pricy food it's only avarage, inside decor pretty but very and tightly packed with guests and loud especially for a week day night kind of unusual, I was disappointed think it's a bit overrated sorry to say. I think Flemings, Ruth Chris, or Morton's are better food wise for the same price and dining experience and not as loud too. Think what could make it better is to thin out the crowded packed affect in the main inside dining area would help a lot too, or, if we ever go back sit outside instead I recommend. The service and staff there were very nice, friendly, and attentive and worked hard during service though. So overall raiting is a 3. Tuesday music night inside was good though think because the band is set up where tables of guests would be so less talking and guests listening to the music instead. Hope they make some changes to there inside seating there for improvements will and could help overall.

Entering the restaurant, you are surrounded by an elegant decor, white table cloth tables with well selected plate settings. While they provide complimentary bread, I was tempted to try something different: the milk bread with lavender honey butter at $6. One bite and it was the wrong choice for me. Too sweet, both the bread, the butter, with no contrasts. I had to return it and they kindly took it off the bill. Instead, the complimentary sourdough bread with the two accompanying butters was a major hit. Both the butters, the Champagne Brie and the Onion Cabernet, one was better than the other, and truly unique. For lunch, it was my desire to try the 2-course Prix Fixe menu. Of the two starter choices, it was Brie Mushroom soup for me. A well balanced thick soup, nice brown color and with a tasteful silky body. Out of the 3 main choices, I opted for the Petit Cabernet. It comes as a 6 oz hand-cut filet mignon, topped with danish blue cheese butter (garlic butter for me, instead) over cabernet demi-glace, sautéed spinach and a campari tomato (yes, just one). The dish arrived at the table nice and hot and superbly arranged as a dynamic presentation (see my pictures). You could smell the steak grill, and appreciate the charring. The spinach was fresh and the tomato succulent, not mushy and plump with an heirloom flavor. To put it mildly, I was truly blown away. In my experience at steak houses, it is rare for a restaurant to check out on all the boxes, with flying colors. I asked tor the steak to be medium rare and every bite was exactly that, no dry areas. Each slice of meat was juicy and when mixed with the cabernet demi-glaze, it took me to another place. Then the knife, well sharpened, cutting through like butter. Also, the optimum balance and complimentary seasoning between the accompanying sides of spinach and tomato. All this cannot impress without stellar service. And that is what it was. My server was Steven G. He and the manager Manny, kept checking on me numerous times. Every time I disappeared to the rest room, my napkin was changed to a new one and laid out in perfect position. What else can I say. I did compliment them both on the exceptional care, service and food. And walked out after having one of the best steak meals I have had, for a very long time.
