    Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza

My first time eating here and it was really good. We ordered a family meal to share between 4 of us and it was a lot of food. The inside was clean and plenty of tables.

The food here was delishhhhh. We stopped by for dinner and shared the family meal for four. We had: Caesar salad Pesto Pasta Breadsticks Sausage / pepperoni pizza Garlic tri tip and BBQ tri tip The food came out one and by one and it was all delicious. Everything was hot and flavorful. The salad was my favorite as it was fresh and had a nice crunch. The pesto pasta was al dente and very good. The tri tip was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was great.

Stonefire Grill is always a solid choice. They have a deal right now that can't be beat. For $13, I got a personal sized pesto pasta with a breadstick (which I was going to order anyway and I think the personal size is upwards of $14 if I am not mistaken). The deal came with a small personal caesar salad and a huge slice of carrot cake. Such a great deal for the amount of food included. The carrot cake was just okay but Caesar salad was great and the pesto pasta is always a favorite of mine. Service was quick and friendly and there was plenty of seating in the dining room. I will be back!

I visited Stonefire Grill recently and had a mixed experience. Food: I ordered the pesto pasta with chicken. The dish itself tasted very delicious especially the sauce. However, I wish the menu offered more types of pasta other than rigatoni. The menu offers a few pasta dishes along with sandwiches and hamburgers. Service: Most of the employees here are friendly and they went around and cleaned up the tables. Ambiance: The decor inside is nice and there is plenty of seating.

The 3 strikes were: -Ordered curbside service and had to go inside for take out orders (happy to go inside, just don't offer curbside as an option then) -Portions have significantly decreased -Prices have risen The $23 Salmon was TINY and the carrot cake portion was no where near the behemoth size they used to serve....The price can't be justified with the quantity of food

Stonefire Grill's carrot cake is THE best...why? It's moist, has pineapples, and is topped with a slightly tangy, gooey cream cheese. It doesn't have an overpowering spice taste, just a warm, cinnamon & caramel-y blend of deliciousness. *drool* We called in to see if they still had the 1/4 sheet available (usually it's a one-day notice), and they were able to accommodate my cravings!! Trust me, it's worth it and you won't want to share! Love that they have plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean with seating for big and small parties, and the Staff are welcoming. Keep in mind that their front door is hard to open on windy days!! Pro tip: get their $13 meal deals and sign up for their rewards program!!

Stonefire Grill in Irvine is such a solid go to when you want a fresh, filling meal without spending a ton. They're known for their flame grilled meats, hearty salads, pizzas, and breadsticks, and everything we tried totally delivered. We went in for their limited time $13 Meal Deal and honestly it's one of the best values I've seen lately. For $13 you get one entrée, one side, and a dessert. That alone is a win, but the portion sizes make it an even better deal. We tried two different pizzas, a pulled pork sandwich, and a pasta, and everything tasted fresh and made in house. The flavors were comforting and classic, and you can tell the recipes are prepared daily. The pulled pork sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, the pizzas had great texture and taste, and the pasta was hearty and filling. And don't skip dessert. The slice is HUGE. You can choose between their Incredible Carrot Cake or Original Cheesecake, and it's the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, great for families, takeout, or even catering. It definitely feels like a place where you can just come as you are and enjoy a generous, scratch made meal. For the price, quality, and portions, this deal is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

I ordered to-go, so I'm curious if I would have a different experience dining in. However, I wasn't impressed with Stonefire. My partner and I both got the $13 meal deal. It comes with an entree, salad, a dessert for $13. I had a Caesar salad, with was pretty good. Their Caesar dressing had a little bit of spice to it. For dessert, I got the carrot cake (which was HUGE and I couldn't finish, but very tasty). For my entree, I got "Pulled Pork Personal Meal", with no red onions. I wouldn't say that the pork I was given was pulled, it was just in chunks. There were a few pickles thrown in with the pork and that was it. It was cold and sad-looking and disappointing. The taste was fine, but presentation matters -- even if it is to-go.

It's been a min since I've been to Stonefire Grill! I've always loved their chicken and tri-tip. Although they have good lunch specials, there were four of us, so I went with the tri-tip and chicken combo, along with breadsticks and a salad. It was soooo good and easily fed four hungry people, but if you're really hungry, I'd recommend ordering a bit more. Great food and wonderful service!

Great service, pricing & underrated marinara pasta! Just a little over $5.00 for the perfect lunch.

Tri Tip lunch special with Garden Salad

I ate here on a Friday for lunch around noon and it was pretty busy. I ordered the lunch special: bbq tri tip with salad and breadsticks. The tri tip was good, the salad & breadsticks were just medicore. Next time, I would get a different side. My friend ordered some other special with dessert. I wish they would put it on the menu. I asked about it, but they don't have it on the menu. Not a big fan of the individual meals here, they are a bit overpriced, but prefer the family meals.

They have a great $13 meal deal going on right now! Lots of different personal entrees to pick from AND it comes with your choice of dessert: carrot cake or cheesecake! You can even add a drink for $1.99! Service and ambiance were fine. They have their stimulus package for $39 as well! I highly recommend!

The service I received was good, the location is good and the restaurant is clean and welcoming, however the cooks really need to learn how to do things correctly. We placed an order for the Tri tip and chicken, Caesar salad with salmon, avocado and the carrot cake. The chicken was raw, the Tri tip was tough to chew on and the meat and poultry portions were very small for the price we paid. Plus they charged a lot for the small slice of avocado for our salad. I know other places that offer you a big meal for a large price but at least they give you portions that make it worthwhile. My recommendation is to look elsewhere for good quality Tri tip that isn't tough on your teeth and chicken that is actually cooked. The cooking staff really needs to learn how to cook and to serve more generous portions and the restaurant needs to charge less for those small portions.

That finally changed today, and I'm already thinking about how I can come back again. To put it bluntly, Heritage is the best BBQ spot in OC. Heritage is located in downtown SJC, with plenty of street parking around the area. They have a bunch of outdoor seating next to the ordering station, and it looks like they're also expanding to have some more seating soon. The staff are all super friendly, and take the time to thank everyone for their patience while waiting. On the topic of waiting, they tend to get very busy around lunch time and on the weekends, so plan your visit accordingly (you can order stuff online in advance, so I'd recommend trying that too). I came about 15 minutes after opening and waited for about 30 minutes (the heat today sucked, but it wouldn't be a terrible wait on a normal day). On the food front, I tried the Tri-Tip, Brisket, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Baby Back Ribs, Sausage of the Day, Mac & Cheese, and Potato Salad. The Tri-Tip was the best I've ever had (it was insanely tender and flavorful), and the Brisket was the best I've had in California (super flavorful and tender). The Ribs and Pulled Pork Sandwich were excellent as well, along with the sides. The Sausage was a slight miss - the flavors were great but the meat was on the grainy side. Regardless, this was the best BBQ I've had in recent memory and it was absolutely worth the wait. I will say that this place is very expensive for BBQ, so come with some friends so you can try a few things. I'd recommend getting the Brisket, Tri-Tip, Ribs, Potato Salad, Mac & Cheese, and a piece of cornbread. I can't recommend this place enough, and hope everyone can have a chance to try it. If you're in the OC and craving BBQ, then this is the spot to try.

Not that I can say I'm all that surprised in hindsight, but it's still kind of a shame. Mostly because I just wish the food had been better, but also because, despite how impressive the OC food scene is, I hadn't come across any BBQ joints/Cantonese restaurants that SF has so many of until randomly stumbling across this place! Then again, maybe I've just been too distracted by the many Taiwanese options that the Bay Area is so criminally short on... Compared to some of the Chinese BBQ joints that I frequent in the Bay Area, this place felt so much newer and a whole lot cleaner/nicer. That said, while the menu appeared to be a whole lot narrower, they still had a decent selection of offerings to choose from. Along with their nearly twenty different sides/snack dishes, which include items like pig ears with chili sauce, cucumber salad, chicken wings, wontons in chili oil, and tofu skin salad, they also had BBQ meats, like Roasted Duck, Soy Sauce Chicken, and Char Siu, a mix of rice and noodle dishes, and combination plates of their BBQ meats over rice or noodles. Sadly, though, no crispy skin roast pork, which was a huge bummer. -- SWEET FRIED CORN Admittedly, this initially didn't catch my eye, but I'm glad we ended up trying it. Every piece was crispy and I liked how sweet and flavorful the corn was. Plus, it was how this wasn't all that oily, though, I wouldn't have minded a bit more batter for some added crunch. -- WONTONS IN CHILI OIL Not too shabby. Although the skins felt a little overcooked, each piece was fairly plump and I thought the filling was pretty tasty. It was also unexpected to see a bit of broth with the chili oil, but it had a nice flavor to it and just the right amount of spice. -- TWO BBQ ITEM RICE PLATE with Char Siu and Roasted Duck I was the most excited for this, but it left me feeling conflicted. On the plus side, the bowl had a fair amount of both meats and the duck was really good - really juicy and the skin was golden brown. On the other hand, the char siu was super fatty and the rice was mushy. -- DICED GROUND PORK ON RICE...$13.99 More solid than spectacular, but still satisfying enough. Like with the BBQ plate, the meat to rice ratio favored the former and I thought the egg and the veggies complemented this well. At the same time, I wish this had more sauce to it, as the pork look a little dry/pale. In addition to how convenient it was to come here (there was a steady crowd, but it never got packed inside), I appreciated how fast our food came out. Also, I'm not sure if we just got lucky, but it wasn't nearly as hard to find a space in the complex's parking lot as it seemed it would be. Between all of that, the food being decent, and the relatively friendly service, Frank's BBQ & Noodles wasn't bad for some Chinese BBQ. However, it definitely could've been better, especially if Roast Pork had been one of their offerings!

Anyway, hubby heard about a promo through AM 570 where if you dine in and whisper "570," you get their promo sando with a side AND a drink for $5.70, normally around $18! At that price, it's practically free, so obviously we had to investigate. We made sure to get there right before opening and waited about 10 minutes. Luckily, there were only two other parties ahead of us. While standing there, I couldn't help but notice that this entire food center is literally smack dab in the middle of residential homes. I feel for the poor neighbors next door and across the street who probably have to deal with all the traffic and noise pollution. Thank goodness I don't live here. WELL...back to me and my food. As soon as the doors opened, they immediately started taking orders. Smoke Queen is basically fast casual with no indoor seating, but they have a cute backyard patio that probably seats around 30 people. If that's full, you can wander into the surrounding outdoor food hall--which I later discovered is Cottage Industries--where there are plenty of little seating areas scattered around. The only thing that is NOT plentiful? Parking. More on that another time. For the promo, I got the brisket sando with dirty rice, and hubby got the pulled pork sando with cornbread, both with fountain drinks. After ordering, we waited about 10 minutes before our little ringer buzzed and our food was ready. First thing I appreciated: the sandos don't come drowning in BBQ sauce. THANK YOU. You can add as much or as little as you want, which is perfect for people like us who aren't huge fans of super sweet BBQ sauces. My brisket was tender and well made, although for some reason I couldn't really taste much smoke. I swear I have this problem at BBQ places--am I the problem?! Either way, the meat itself was good, and their BBQ sauce had a nice balance of tartness and flavor that really helped bring the sandwich together without overpowering it. The dirty rice was also good, although I expected a little more umph. It seemed like a genius way to make use of all those precious little brisket and pulled pork bits left behind from cutting the meats--instead of letting those scraps go to waste, throw them into some rice! I fully support using every last morsel of BBQ goodness. BUT...if that's the idea, give me more of those meat pieces! Mine could've definitely used a little more. Hubby's pulled pork was good as well, but again...where's the smoke?! Maybe it's just our taste buds. Overall, the meats were tender, the food was good, the people were nice, and for $5.70, this promo was an absolute STEAL. At the normal price point, though, while I thought everything was well made, nothing quite grabbed me enough that I'd be rushing back anytime soon. Still, I'm glad we finally discovered Smoke Queen after apparently being the last people on Yelp to know it existed.

Haven't been here in a while and it still hits…read more I got here late (7pm they close 8pm) and they were sold out of most things but I got brisket and short rib with that colossal bone. After trying the neighboring new bbq spot I won't name.. this places brisket is so much better. I love it here, juicy and great flavor. Some fatty bits but that's where the flavor comes from. and this short rib was bomb! The edges were a bit dry but I'm coming at closing time so I get it. FYI short rib is by weight $40/lb so it was about $50 for it. The sides I got were their macaroni and cheese 10/10 tastes home made! Onion rings were ok. Coleslaw is alright. Good for fiber! lol. I do like their beans and the blueberry bread. I love their nachos but they ran out of nacho cheese. Sad! I gota come back!

Hello all, first timer yelp user here. First things first, the food was very delicious... But, the…read moreserver, Jason, was beyond disrespectful. This young man was arguing with me over the phone over the brisket sandwich combo and the 2 piece chicken quarter meal. He swore up and down that he didn't have any chicken, but my wife called not even 5 minutes later and they did confirm that they had chicken all day. This was EXTREMELY disrespectful and lazy on Jason's part. He needs to find a new industry to work in as customer service is not his specialty. Jason, shame on you. Thank you, Joey
