I had a good experience at Stonefire! We had the delicious pizza special that included a personal pizza, side salad and dessert. Everything tasted great, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone looking for a tasty meal. This location is clean and the parking is plentiful. I'll definitely be coming back!

Service was extremely quick. Food was whatever, the lemon garlic shrimp sure was lemony and had pretty big chunks of just garlic, but I guess it is what I ordered. They have a nice stand in the entrance.

My sister took my for my Birthday lunch and what a great meal and quiet vibe. We had BBQ chicken, Brisket, cornbread casserole, cilantro lime rice and Cesar salad. All of this meal was good. The meat was tasty, chicken was tender, Cesar salad was on point and the rice yummy. The cornbread casserole was a little dry and not hot enough. Overall very good and the place was very nice and clean. We forgot our breadsticks so they give us a few on the way out! I'll be back!

This was our first visit to Stonefire Grill, and it turned out to be a delightful experience and I like the atmosphere, You order at the counter when you walk in, employees were where helpful ,then they give you a vibrating pager so you can grab a seat while your food is prepared. We ordered a $13.99 personal meal. My wife had the mac & cheese with a salad, and I had the combo pizza with a Caesar salad. We added two drinks for $1.99 each and shared a nutty coleslaw. I was surprised at how large the "personal size" mac & cheese was -- it was very generous. We ended up sharing the pizza, mac & cheese, and coleslaw and still had plenty of food. The meal also came with two personal-size carrot cakes, which we took home for the next day. Even sharing just one was more than enough. Everything was delicious, but the carrot cake really stood out. Super moist, full of carrots and chunks of pineapple, and topped with an amazing cream cheese frosting. The menu says it's made from scratch, and it definitely tasted homemade. Definitely recommend! **After reading some of the 3 and 1 reviews, I'm hoping to have an equally positive experience on my next visit.

    Tri tip special

The Stimulus Package family meal is an unbeatable best deal in town $43.99 that includes: Tri tips or chicken, garden salad, pizza with 2 toppings, and breadsticks. This special deal from the pandemic days is not on the menu and they happily provide. We get this all the time. The service is always prompt and courteous, and the location is spacious and clean. We had a holiday party where we took over a few tables and they were good to help making it happen. Important tip: join or rejoin their loyalty program. The old card based system was messy, and the new phone number based system is easy and highly recommended! You accumulate points quickly, today, I got a $10 off, sweet!

    Oily on almost all visits.

I used to only visit for their lunch special which was around 13 more or less. A choice of pasta, 2 bread sticks and a side. Isn't bad but kitchen staff occasionally has a nasty habit of cutting your portions where I had to send items back for a redo. One of their waiters who brought out my order even admits it seemed a little light as he brought it back to kitchen. It became a regular thing that portions aren't consistent every other visit and very tiring. Folks are friendly enough and never had an issue there, but portions was always a hassle to constantly be disappointed in. I took a few photos to prove my point. Sometimes it arrives as it should and other times it falls flat. Very greasy too at the bottom of bowl. I ordered the extra chicken on top of pasta and thought it would've came grilled. I asked the staff I don't want anything burnt on the chicken and they all looked at me completely blank. Was confused why they all hesitated to respond and one replied, "Don't worry about it. It won't come burnt." Well, he's right because it came as precooked cold dices like the ones from the grocery store! Check out the photos for yourself and avoid paying for this scam. Added another pic of the grilled chicken which is their most expensive lunch special. 14 or 15 usd and the portion was ridiculous. Please check for yourself and maybe lunch specials aren't their specialty.

3.75* Went here for dinner while visiting family out in the South Bay. This was given as an option along with 2 other favorites from childhood. Decided to go here because I've never been and wasn't familiar. This place is very interesting and unique to some degree. It gives very much a family atmosphere, come in, sit down, and enjoy your meal. While also giving off fast casual, eat your meal and be on your way type vibes. So, that threw me off a bit. You come in look at the menu, order your food, take your number, and find a seat. Again, the atmosphere is fighting itself. I suggest that you look at the menu online prior to going. Once you're there, standing in line, and other people around you waiting for you to order, and they know what they want, but you don't is pressure. So, you let them go ahead but it's your first time so you're still overwhelmed but you also don't want to just let everyone else go ahead. So, it was decided to order a family style dinner. We decided on the salad, tri-tip, mashed potatoes, pesto pasta, and bread sticks. I also ordered a rack of baby back ribs because I was in the mood for those. Overall, it was a nice meal. Everything tasted good. My personal least favorite item was the mashed potatoes. They were fine, but I bit on the dry side. Maybe reheated for service. My favorite item was the pear, arugula, and Gorgonzola cheese salad. The proteins were good. I'm not a pasta fan but the pasta people at the table were satisfied with it. Overall, knowing what I know now I'd definitely go back and try some different items. Not a bad experience, but a learning experience.

Plenty of parking. Close to tons of stores and places. Friendly staff. Fresh food. Relatively low pricing. Would recommend. Just don't sit outside. So many bugs flying around. Tri tip and chicken breast. Petite portion Tri tip and ribs Ribs and grilled chicken Roasted veggies

Ate here for Mother's Day with my family. We ordered our food, then went to go get drinks, and I saw both ice machines were covered in mold, visible mold all the way to the end of the plastic. This shows that they do not ever clean their ice machines. We made a complaint to the front desk and swapped out our plastic cups for water bottles. They did nothing even let about 25 people still get ice and drink mold and bacteria. I got up to take these pictures and videos and then manager approached me asking what was wrong and I told him this is unacceptable and it would make somebody really fucking sick. Now they're all attempting to wipe it clean when the whole thing needs replaced. EAT AT HOME it's the safest.

Walked in and had a nice young lady to take my order. At this restaurant you order first and pay. Then you get your drinks, silverware, and sit down. For lunch, I had a BBQ chicken sandwich with roasted vegetables. You get to pick one side with the sandwich. I then walked to the back to get my drink, which was a Diet Coke. I got silverware, napkins and sat down at a nice booth. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. It's a large restaurant and plenty of space to get a table or booth. The food came out very quickly, and I was amazed with the presentation sandwich and how it tastes. It was delicious. The employees were all very friendly. I would recommend Stonefire Grill Torrance

Though I probably only pop in once or twice a year, I do enjoy Stonefire Grill. For this Torrance location, I would sometimes come here with the family and order the big meals. I used to visit the Lakewood location a little more frequently when the Roasted Cauliflower Pita was still on the menu. It was my favorite thing to order! Sadly, it was removed and my vegan options were reduced. That said, there are still some solid vegan options marked on the menu (hello Cartwheel Salad!) and vegetarian options that can easily be veganized. One of my favorite things to get here is the Superfood Fiesta Bowl. it's a chopped salad with quinoa, kale, black beans, roasted chickpeas, red cabbage, roasted corn, red onion, tomato, cilantro, and topped with guacamole. It also comes with tortilla chips. Usually it comes with and sriracha ranch but I like to swap it out for chili lime vinaigrette. The personal size is fills me up with a little bit for a snack-sized leftovers. Love all the colors in here too! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/stonefire-grill-torrance-4?select=pPpVLnS0FMT6OFwS1DCLRQ&userid=53dkR4-xyhjsCVHfrwiGaQ During my last visit, the younger staff seemed to be unsure how to answer some of my questions and required a bit of guidance on how to provide solutions. But I don't fault them at all for that because they were still polite. Later, another gentleman who may have been a manager came to check on us later during the meal to make sure we were happy with our meal. I appreciate the great service :)

Carry out down to a science. We ordered the two whole tri tip combo which included breadsticks and Caesar salad. It was approx $110.00 and able to feed 6. I would say that it was about right for portions and price for six ppl. I was impressed by the Carry out system they had in place. Really dialed in and professional. Food was fresh and the hot food items were still hot. As to the complaints about tri tip, keep in mind that tri tip generally is a leaner cut than say a ribeye with rich marbling. Hence the chew is going to be meatier. If you want softer texture u will have to go with rare or medium rare at most. We got medium and it was good for our family. (I prefer medium rare but my family likes medium well so we compromised.) In conclusion. The service was great. The price to value was great. And the quality of the food was great. Is it fine dining? No, but that is not what this restaurant is supposed to be. Casual food for the fam and if they continue to keep up the professional service we will be back.

Yes, we do have a small outdoor patio. We do not take reservations at this time.

They'll tell you to cook it 45 seconds each side (so 6 times), but here's a trick. do 45 seconds on four sides (the top, bottom, and the long sides), and then a bit of salt if you need it and some lemon slice. ADD THE LEMON JUICE!! BUT NOT TOO MUCH. That will take you out. You're welcome peasants. Think of me when you try it. Or don't. I might be pooping and I don't like the idea of people thinking of me while I poo. The server was awesome too. I didn't catch her name because I was too busy being a fatass.

The meat was very good, although some pieces were more heavily marinated than I personally prefer, but overall it wasn't too much. The service was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the whole experience felt very Japanese and authentic. Respectfully attentive, the way all service should be. Now let's talk food, because this place had me rethinking my bellies choices. The spicy beef soup pulled up like a warm hug from someone who also isn't afraid to roast you. Flavorful, comforting, and spicy enough to remind you you're alive. The beef ox tongue, wow ..listen. If you've never had tongue that melts like butter and grills up with that perfect little snap, this place will convert you. I was out here chewing like I was signing a peace treaty. The prime rib‑kalbi was so juicy and tender I almost apologized to it for eating it. Almost. The kimchi came in hot with the tangy attitude, balancing everything like the responsible friend in the group chat. And the raw beef tartare. So delicious and clean, fresh, and seasoned like it went to culinary private school. I took one bite and immediately felt like I should be wearing a fancy watch. Overall, Sei‑Ko‑En is cozy, clean, delicious, and unintentionally comedic, because every dish had me making faces I hope nobody recorded. A must‑visit for anyone who loves Japanese BBQ with Korean soul and a side of "wow, I didn't know food could do that." Exploring great food, one bite at a time! Miguel C.

If you like liver, then you'll be an instant fan. If you're a little squeamish then you can always grill it a bit before you eat it lol Their cuts of meat are also a league above the rest. I loved them all! Their wagyu tongue, negi tongue, gokujo kalbi, tokujo ro-su, and pork belly are all worth writing home about. They also serve vegetables and salad to go with the BBQ. We also tried their yukkejan soup which is their spicy beef soup. It was very tasty. Savory and not too salty. Very well balanced. I'd eat this alone on a cold rainy day. The ambiance is busy with moderate noise. Lots of Japanese locals were there that night and were simply having an amazing time socializing. Overall 10/10. Definitely coming back!

They are all lovely and enjoyable in their own way, in their own way that they begin to grill, or even the way the wagyu kind of caramelizes into its Maillard reaction of cooking that lovingly marries that amino acid meatiness to the beef's inherent sugars. Your bite into heaven is merely the cost of Sakakiyama beef. And that glorious Chateaubriand, so beefy, yet lusciously tender, as that melted marbled fat boosts its power the way hollowfication boosts Kurosaki Ichigo's bankai to untold magnitudes of dominance!!! And don't skimp on the sides. Splurge on that demure bowl of shiso rice. The seasoning and sliced shiso leaves over white rice really brightens and freshens up the palate in a way that really complements rich fatty wagyu beef. The plate of seasonal vegetables are also the way to go. Just do it. Fresh, acidity, crisp vegetables brings harmony to the whole experience. And pair it all to a glass of red wine, or tall glass of Suntory The Premium Malts. It's what Ryo Saeba, the City Hunter would do. If you're splurging this much, might as well go all the way. Ne? Nyaa?! Victory must be absolute. Personal service might be slow, but they only had like 2 people on staff on the floor, running between only... EVERY table. But if you want to get their attention, use the electric bell on the table. But they're good people. Nice people. The greatest people. Serving some of the greatest food, the greatest beef. So some reviewers might think this yakiniku joint is among the worst. But I think it's one of the greatest! [Last note: we were lucky to grab a 50% off premium cuts weekend discount, normally this meal which heartily fed a party of 4 with drinks, would cost in the neighborhood of over $600. But even they do have a more accessible menu of US Prime cuts along with A5 and non-A5 wagyu.]

We've been to Manpuku 5x in the past 2+yrs & the food has always been great (still is) & the…read moreservice is always excellent, but the last 3 visits there has been a strong cheap air freshener smell coming from the bathroom that's really nauseating. I had a massive headache the last visit. Also the grill still had sauce on it from the previous customer & the "tea" was like hot water & cost us $10 for 2 TINY cups?!!! I don't remember the tea being so expensive. I wouldn't mind if it was actually good tea. Hmmm, we probably won't be returning. What we have gotten in the past & liked: namul ナムル, mushrooms キノコ, veg 野菜, jidori chicken thigh 地鶏もも肉, shrimp エビ (delicious), boneless short rib, wagyu... the salads are all good too & so was the egg soup.

Never been to this Manpuku location before. I visited the one on Sawtelle Blvd. a few times, but…read morethat was like 4 years ago. I remember really liking the food, so I'm not sure why it took me until yesterday to finally check this place out. It was absolutely amazing. They nailed every aspect of the dining experience. Let's start with the service. It was phenomenal. The restaurant staff members were pleasant and efficient. All the dishes came out very fast. While I cooked most of the meats on the grill, there were some items that were carefully prepared table side by staff. I enjoyed the ambiance of this place. There was music softly playing in the background. The room temperature was cool - an absolute necessity when cooking food right over open flames in front of you. I ordered the Manpuku Premium set. I loved the food, like a lot. Here's a run down of almost everything I had: Manpuku Salad: It was fantastic. I'm used to eating a Japanese salad with the generic carrot ginger dressing. You know what I'm talking about. This one had a nice sesame oil flavor to it. Not sweet, more savory. A refreshing change from the norm. U.S. Kobe Filet: This was probably my least favorite cut of meat of the day as it wasn't as marbled and flavorful as the rest of them. However, it was soft as butter - exactly what you would expect from a premium piece of tenderloin steak. Seared Beef Nigiri: It came with 4 pieces, but we ordered an extra two pieces. The nigiri was delightful. Imagine eating the perfect piece of toro nigiri except it was made of highly marbled Wagyu beef. U.S. Kobe Sukiyaki: This was easily the best thing I had here, and that's saying a lot since I had a lot of great food. While I was allowed to cook the rest of the cuts of meat on my own, this one was specially prepared by a restaurant worker since the meat had to be cooked and prepared in a certain way to maximize the flavor experience. The meat, when dipped in the raw egg yolk was pure bliss. Fried Rice: It came out sizzling hot in a stone bowl. The fried rice was okay, but absolutely necessary for the meal. A lot of the meats were very fatty. The fried rice did a bang up job soaking up the oiliness of the meats when consumed together. U.S. Kobe Boneless Short-rib, US Kobe Chuck Flap, and Miso Skirt Steak: These were all home runs. They were tender, fatty, and incredibly tasty. My favorite of this trio was the short rib since it was the most marbled of the bunch. Garlic Edamame: I've had my share of edamame in my life, prepared in a variety of different ways. I used to like how a restaurant called Backhouse in the Santa Monica area used to serve their garlic edamame. It was my favorite edamame around. Sadly, that establishment no longer exists. This restaurant's edamame reminded me of the Backhouse edamame. It was perfectly warm and flavored. Simply outstanding. For dessert, they let you select from a list of options. I had macha ice cream, as that is my favorite flavor of ice cream at a Japanese restaurant. It was very creamy and not overly sweet. Best part was the ice cream bowl was chilled. Kept the ice cream cold. It was the perfect way to end a fantastic dining experience.

While they seemed a bit understaffed during my visit;the friendly manager was definitely keeping busy, and my server was on her very first day; it's great to see they are actively bringing on more help. I ordered the premium Wagyu and pork belly, along with a few vegetable dishes, and everything was delicious. They also feature a fantastic beverage selection, including great draft beer, wine, and shochu options. Would recommend with groups, it has some great large portion options but it was fine if a bit pricey for a solo venture.
