This particular restaurant here off of Valencia Blvd is my personal favorite for it has unique interior decor that the franchises don't have and it also being one of the first stonefire grills to exist. Just came here to eat dinner with the family and our order took so long. We ask two server that we are missing our side Caesar salad and same thing it took awhile before they gave it to us. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I go once about every couple of weeks and it's ALWAYS the same... EXTREMELY SLOW! Even last night for dinner we called ahead and they said that our food would be ready in 10 minutes. We were starving and ended up waiting 30 minutes longer... We were very disappointed. Now the next day, my boyfriend and I feel absolutely awful! Our stomachs have gone through hell and back for several hours! This is one place we will not be returning. This is now the next day and we've still gone through all the same symptoms! Our stomachs have severe pain that WILL NOT STOP. This is the most painful thing either of us have gone through. Just ordered from here for a work event and they never fail me! They have easy ordering and always on time. The food is delicious and they are always very willing to help you figure out just how much you will need for a specific amount of people I've never actually sat down and ate at this stonefire but when I go pick up they are usually busy (noon/lunch time). Their Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Pesto Pasta are ALWAYS a hit with my group... and you can never go wrong with the tri-tip. read more

I brought my mom her for her birthday and we ordered a bbq chicken salad, mashed potatoes, and tritip cooked medium rare. Service was fast but the steak was cooked well done. A manager happened to be checking on tables around us at that time and when he came by I let him know that I wasn't happy about the way the steak was cooked. He apologized and had a new tritip cooked medium rare for us. It came out so quickly! He was so kind and helpful. It was a great birthday dinner for my mom. This place is so over-rated. The food is average, nothing special. If you're looking for good pasta or chicken you're better off just saving time and go to Olive Garden. There are no servers, you have to serve yourself which defeats the purpose of going to a "restaurant" even McDonalds takes your order to the table now. The Tri-Tip was cold and didn't have enough sauce, they have BBQ on the side but it tastes like it came from Walmart. If you have no taste buds you'll enjoy it. read more

The portions are huge! enough for 2 or more people to share unless you are used to zoo size feedings you would be crazy to think the portions are small... 2. The prices are great! 9.99 for 1/4 chicken, tri-tip, a huge side of your choice and 2 breadsticks... sorry if you want cheaper that that go somewhere with a dollar menu... 3. Their tri-tip is melt in your mouth tender... i will not eat meat that is so tough it gets stuck in my teeth and makes my jaw sore chewing it... its not mushy, that is called tender and that is how "good" tri-tip should be. anyways i am sooo sooo picky and i think their food is great! everything i have tried has been delicious! their mac and cheese is soooo good but let me warn you the small size portion is HUGE! the mashed potatoes are good but you have to like garlic, they have cheese in them too which makes them even better! you can't go wrong with their chicken or tri-tip both are excellent. Their carrot cake is wonderful!! i will not settle for anything less that my mom's homemade carrot cake and let me tell you it comes as close as you can get! 5 stars all the way around... the only thing i would say that isnt so great is that you have to order at the counter but at least they bring it to you.... read more

Ehhhh. Stonefire is another typical Valencia restaurant. Nothing extra ordinary and is overpriced. Im not expecting a good bbq place in Valencia so thats why it still gets 3 stars. Right in the middle, for the effort. Stonefire is for the typical Valencia family who do their rotation of dining at the Elephant Bar, Olive Garden, Chipotle, Pei Wei, etc. For the restaurant connoisseur, you can pass this up and look for a place that actually has a unique flavor. I usually do the Stonefires Favorite, which gets us a 1lb of their delicious tri tip, a huge greek salad, about 18 mouthwatering heavenly breadsticks 2 large sides which is always the orgasmic garlic mashed potatoes ! for about 50 bucks steal! Have been here several times and always impressed. We order the tri tip medium and it always comes out tender, juicy, and so flavorful! Each time the place has been packed and the staff is very attentive. The crew is young but on their game clearing tables, bringing out food, and approaching tables to see if anything else is needed. Last night my 19 year old daughter had an incident with another customer who was obviously a racist. A lot of racial hatred thrown her way. The portions are really great for the price. At petite size in my opinion could feed two people. Especially for the petite salad. But there just didn't seem to be a lot of flavor for anything. That's not what I'm reviewing here.....I ordered over $100 in food for a family gathering and of course what we were all waiting for was the yummy breadsticks. I opened the bag and everything BUT the breadsticks was in there! I called and spoke to the manager who was very apologetic. He said he would send me a gift certificate for the inconvenience. Well, a few days later I get the mail, fully expecting a gift card for maybe $25 - what I got was a card for $50 of food! I was elated! I'm all about that BBQ chop with the chicken, don't forget about the tri tip with that extra gorgonzola and they always hook it up. Don't even get me started on those breadsticks. The best salads in the SCV. Great prices too!! The petite is more than enough for one person, and the price is between $6-$8. I go there every week and meet my Mom there for lunch. We usually get a salad but today we got one salad and split the Salmon. OMG!!! 1/2 lb order with their lemon garlic "sauce" to DIE for!!!! I can't stop thinking about it!!
