We have been to Stonefire many times and we have always had a good experience. They have great tri tip and salads. Today I had the asian salad with chicken and I asked if the dressing was dairy/egg free and the cashier showed me the vegan menu. I'm very pleased they have a variety of vegan dressings. I also requested plain breadsticks which are also vegan. I'm impressed they have a vegetarian/vegan menu here and I took a photo of the vegan section for my future reference. This is very helpful for my allergies. I appreciate that the cashier was very pleasant and helpful. My daughter had the tri tip and mashed potatoes which she loves and it was a large portion so she had some to bring home. It was really busy for lunch on Saturday but the food came out fairly quickly and we were able to find a table. Or take out is always an option. Good food and great service means we will continue to dine here. It was about $20 for both of us including drinks. read more

Something happened here recently. The trip tip got a little juicier. The Greek salad more flavorful. The pesto pasta more zesty. The bread sticks even more addicting. One of my favorite restaurants in town! WONDERFUL food. Fast, friendly staff, too. My mom and I eat there all the time. If something ever goes wrong with our order (which is totally rare), they go above and beyond to make sure it is fixed. P.S. We frequently visit this restaurant and it typically has pretty good food. I used their online ordering today as I needed to pick up the food on my way home quickly as we were having our family dinner. I selected the time to pick up the order at 4:00. Email confirmation on my phone and pre paid. When I told the young man I was there to pick up my order he said it was scheduled for 5:30 pick up. I showed him my confirmation of 4:00 he just said sorry about that we will get it ready now. After 20 minutes they did get my order ready and I told the manager about my pick up time he also just said he was sorry. I will not be using the online ordering if the computer just randomly picks a time for pick up instead of your time you select. Tri Tip was rubbery tasted synthetic. It was a weekday when I last stopped in at StoneFire Grill. I'd been here several times before and on weekends as well so you can assume I like it here. The menu has a great selection of mouth watering dishes to choose from. Choices for almost any palate or any size appetite. What ever you do decide on will be fresh and flavorful without question. When I come to StoneFire I try to come with an empty stomach because I want to eat everything. As the saying goes "my eyes are larger than my stomach" and I end up too stuffed to finish. The plus I guess is that I have delicious left overs for later. If I came hear as frequently as would like to I would most likely be 2 times my size. Don't get me wrong though, the food is great quality and healthy. My problem is portion control when I walk in the door. You gotta check this place out when your in the neighborhood. well...we've tried it 3 times...not going back...barb. chicken is good...so are garlic potatoes and bread sticks...just don't care for the tri-tip. It's pretty much cooked to order...and ready on time for pickup..staff is courteous...but the quality of the beef is poor. Just don't like to spend the time cutting off the fat...cutting around the grizzle...or end up pulling it half eaten/non chewable from my mouth. We've been to wood ranch at least 30 times...and beef quality is absolutely never an issue...but alas no more stone fire grill for us. read more

So today we had a Senior High Graduation Luncheon planned for the Valencia United Methodist Church seniors...starting at 11:45.....we ordered in advance ....spoke with numerous stone fire grill employees....to make sure our food was ready for pick up at 11:05... This place gets a 5 star for having an awesome management team. Travis (GM) quickly identified that we were missing an item from our original order. He not only took the time to personally apologize, but within minutes was able to rush over our missing sandwich. What I love most is that Travis changed the mood of our table from, frustrated to laughing, by simply making us feel heard and understood by apologizing and smiling. So I was just in here with my gf and it was busy but there were some tables open and others messy with finished plates and there's some things I caught with the staff and environment. So basically this one star is for the couple who sat at a 2 person table and the manager had to move them while eating to a different table which I thought was very rude and inconsiderate because a family was sitting outside decided to come inside. Last time I checked stonefire is a New York style restaurant where you pay first and find your own seating... Also while they were dirty tables random workers kept coming to my table and were taking my plates away while I'm still eating my food so I felt rushed and was basically obligated to hurry up and leave this place... Maybe they should bus the dirty tables instead of rushing me out the restaurant. read more

Went today and took a friend from England their for lunch. She loved it and was so impressed by the awesome and perfect service by key players. Froh?, and (the 6'6", he was so tall we had to ask his height!) Corey had the best attitude and went over and beyond for us. Then when I returned to line to order carrot cake a man without a badge (but I think he was the boss, and I got the name Danny) was icing on the cake...he paid us a visit and my friend was so impressed. This place is horrible. It was dirty, dirty table tops everywhere so you didn't know where to sit & service was really bad. The food that we received was mediocre. We ordered meatballs, margarita pizza & beef sandwich. Food can be compared to frozen foods you can just heat up at home. Got the sandwich, then the server took our number (they give you a number to put at your table so they know where food goes), I asked the server how will you know where to go when our other food is ready? She said oh it says here you already received all your food. The manager or whom ever this teenage guy with braces was, came out and talk to us. Letting us know it was a mix up. Debbie and I were in Santa Clarita today goofing off and it got to be lunch time. We have this place as a ride for the HOG chapter later this year so I figured we should try it before then. When you walk in you order at the counter before you sit down so we looked at the menu and decided on sandwiches. Deb got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and I got the pulled pork. Both were served on french bread which had a good flavor. Debs chicken was grilled nicely and had caramelized onions, mozzarella cheese and arugula. It had a great flavor to it and all the ingredients compliment each other nicely. My pulled pork had a very good amount of pork on it with a nice sweet sauce. The meat wasn't smoked but nevertheless had a good flavor. I got the cowboy beans with mine and deb got the nutty coleslaw. Both sides had good flavor and were quite delicious. Her slaw had peanuts in it so if you are allergic you will want to avoid it. The beans had a good mesquite flavor to them. I'm glad we put this place on the calendar. Highly recommended. read more

I really like the food but have to give a low rating because the restaurant is way too cold with 4 doors in and out! This means you can't get away from the draft and in Santa Clarita it is really bad in the winter months. It also means your food is cold before you eat it. What restaurant has 4 doors with people going in and out! I get that they took over and expanded into another space but honestly the management should have 1 door in and out like all other restaurants!!! Lock the other doors except the one at the front PLEASE! Bring a jacket and scarf if you intend to eat here. read more

I always have ordered either online or on the phone and every single time, I am left waiting for AT LEAST 20 minutes AFTER the time that they said it would be ready. Their food always tastes great and is reasonably priced... their service is always great as well, whether it's been in the restaurant or at a catered event... We went to eat here tonight and our experience was... Bizarre. Let me just start out by saying that all the staff we came in to contact with were super nice, professional, and helpful. This was my first time eating here (like at the restaurant), so I'm not certain if this experience is the norm or if it was just a weird night. I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich and it was fantastic. I wish it would have came with chips or fries or whatever but I ordered the cauliflower salad with it. The cauliflower salad was inedible. Here I'll note that my sweet husband has brought me home food before and the cauliflower salad was great! So I was excited to order it again. Well tonight I'm not sure what happened but it had an overpowering garlic or onion taste that made it way way too spicy. When the server came back I asked him if I could trade it for mashed potatoes and he (Luis) was so nice and no questions asked switched it. When the potatoes came they were burned on the bottom like they had been the last scoop of the bin. They weren't good either, but my toddler was getting kind of crazy and I didn't want to seem like one of *those people*. So we got the kids out of there and I cannot wait to cozy up with some carrot cake. That carrot cake is seriously divine. The second weird part about our experience was that all of our food came out separately. My sandwich came, then my husband's, then a salad, then my little's mac and cheese on and on. I'm not sure what the point of it was. Why the food wasn't put together and brought out at once but it made for a nerve wracking time. I kept wanting to tell the poor kid what we were missing because I didn't know if they knew and I didn't want to seem rude, but I didn't know if they were coming back?! It was just weird! This place is amazing. Their food is prepared so well and has not let me down once. The mesquite barbeque sauce is what helps out a lot too. They have a simple but amazing menu of delicious barbeque. Highly reccomend the chicken, tri tip, ribs, mashed potatoes, breadsticks, pesto pasta, salads, honestly pretty much anything is good. The breadsticks are perfect and make my mouth a moist chasm waiting for entry by the long delicious breadsticks. Great for families. Dine in or eat out back at home this food will not dissapoint. They are pretty good about making the food in a good amount of time. Patience pays off for quality. The interior seating is really nice and roomy. Staff is great and attentive as well. Also great catering. My workplace, six flags, once a year has a huge training class and stone fire is served every year and it's great to look forward to. read more
