I've had several items on the menu . This time I had the haddock sandwich with coleslaw and a cup of clam chowder. The chowder is thick , creamy and delicious. The haddock was lightly battered and delicious as well. My fiancé had the lobster stew and crab sandwich on gluten free bun . The lobster stew is also gluten free. He said the crab sandwich was outstanding! They also have vet delicious French fries ! The restaurant has a farm house feel to it . Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly bar/waitstaff .

She ordered the clam basket with fries and coleslaw for the paltry sum of $38.00. Seriously? What are the clams made of? Gold? Diamonds? She also had dessert. Cheesecake for $9.00. In my opinion, these prices are "highway robbery". I've lived in Windham for years, and because Bob's is the only seafood restaurant in town, they get away with charging "tourist prices". 10-05-24 Review Remember the seminal television series "Cheers," where everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came? That's a complete 180 in contrast to Bob's. They couldn't care less about who you are and why you're there. My server tonight was Haley. Her focus was on taking selfies of herself and being coy with the boys. As her customer, she shows zero interest. It was like she couldn't wait for her shift to end. That said, Bob's fare is mediocre and overpriced. I won't be back. Two thumbs down.

It's fantastic. I also love their smoked Arctic char pâté with hot honey, smoked salmon pâté, and smoked rainbow trout pâté. It's creamy, delicate, buttery, and the natural smoke flavor comes through without it being overpowering and fishy. It's a luxurious, gourmet spread, and my freezer is adequately stocked. The people working there are hard-working, polite, and friendly gentlemen. Jim, the owner, is an absolute star. He's genuine and kind. I love Pinetree Seafood and Produce, and I'm forever hooked! The smoked haddock chowder should be the main attraction for this place, it was seriously really legit. The lobster wasn't quite our style; the lobster was super cold and I believe had the slightest bit of mayo to the point it wasn't really even enough mayo to even know it was there. I don't mind the philosophy of letting the lobster shine, but lobster needs a bit of salt or SOMETHING to make its flavor pop. If you like Maine style then you might like this but if you favor Connecticut style then you might not prefer how this is made.

ICE CREAM!! Not the best you've ever had but hits the spot for that summertime ice cream fix after dinner. There are about 30 flavors. There are picnic tables and plenty of parking. My oldest had an orange float while the other two kids in my care had kiddie (1.5 scoops) of cookies and cream and salted caramel. I went with a peanut butter caramel cookie dough flavor. I could have done without the caramel but the size was just right at 1.5 scoops. a little tip- you have to place your whole order in or step aside. where we come from ice cream shops take orders and start scooping so if I am still deciding I can wait until after the kids have theirs. Here I was told I would have to step aside and re-order along with they did forget one kids order. The staff was not friendly. They weren't rude but for a summertime ice cream place in a vacation spot they were not there for the customers! Now I am a photo lover, so I can't help but make the kids take photos in front of the beautiful Sebago postcard looking mural on the side of the building.

We ordered a side of chicken tenders thinking they would be hand made and they were the same flat, frozen chicken tenders you get at a pizza joint. When the plate comes out you think WOW until you eat the first layer of seafood and find a huge amount of fries underneath. I did notice the place was pretty empty and can understand why now. We used to have to wait in line to get in. So sad that a place that was so good is now just another lowered quality place to eat. Our server was outstanding which is a plus.
