Snapper with crab meat and broccoli. 10-24-25

This was my first time. Dining here. It's located outside of Annapolis Mall. I met up with two of my child hood girlfriends. We really had fun talking about the good Ole days. Especially in this trying times right now. Anyways back to the review. Our wait staff I forgot his name. He checked on us regularly but he forgot to mention the specials of the day which was on a different menu. I found out after ordering by looking at an additional menu. That was a bit disappointing because I love Snapper fish as well. Now my Salmon was delicious. Cooked perfectly with a nice crunch. So no complaints there. Oh and the rolls they bring to your table was very satisfying. I enjoyed my meal and I ordered the carrot cake to go. So delicious and just what I needed. It's a nice size so I will be enjoying that for a few days. Very nice visit.

The service was excellent and the food was decent. I would not return to this restaurant. I would prefer trying something else.

This is the oil and vinegar for your salad. So good.

Ambiance: This is a relaxed place. I like that they don't jam in a table for every square inch of space available. It gives the place a more exclusive and unencumbered feeling. Service: Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. No complaints. She was easy to talk to and listened to what we needed. I was the problem child because I am on a carnivore diet, but everything work out well. Food: Really really good. I didn't feel the steak egg rolls were my favorite (I just ate the inside steak and cheese) but my daughter loved them. The Coffee cured steak was so tender. You get a 10oz steak. I think filet? Anyway, it practically melts in your mouth. Some may find the coffee flavor will overwhelm the steak flavor. If you are NOT a big coffee fan, do not get this steak. I was there so I had to try once. I love coffee so I had to at least try. Overall, pretty good place. We will be back.

I went to Stoney River for my birthday and had no idea it was tucked around the back of Annapolis Mall. Me and my friend sat at the bar, where they also had high-top tables with full service. I'm not sure what the bartender's name was, but he was just okay. Service could have been a little better with more check-ins and making sure we got everything we asked for. Now the food? So good. Those steak egg rolls might be the best I've ever had. They were packed with steak and not overloaded with cheese, which I loved. I ordered the ribeye and paired it with the cauliflower for my veggie. I also tried their loaded one-pound baked potato and it did not disappoint. I like that all their steaks come with some kind of potato automatically. The ribeye itself was flavorful, but I wish it had that melt-in-your-mouth feel. I ordered it medium rare, but the texture wasn't quite hitting like I wanted. The drinks were decent, but the real star was that complimentary bread. It gave sweet doughnut vibes and tasted amazing with the butter. The dress code was more casual than I expected too, which made the vibe feel even more laid-back and comfortable. Even though the service was just okay, the food and overall vibe made it a solid birthday dinner. I would go back to try more.

Met former work buddies for after XMAS lunch. This establishment is top notch as soon as you walk in the door. The hosts and servers were excellent. My buddies opted for the smash burger and meatloaf burger with fries. They both gave it a 10. I opted for the French onion soup and Bistro Chicken (mash and broccoli). Special shout out to server Ben who was excellent. Highly recommend this establishment!

Had an impromptu dinner date here with friends as they recommended the location given the proximity to where I was staying and the fact that it was a steakhouse chain they've had before. First impression walking in was that it had the right buzz for a steakhouse on a Saturday... crowded with lots of chatter and laughter and the aromas in the air made my tummy ready to eat. We had a reservation and were seated a few minutes after the scheduled time. Our server immediately greeted us and asked if we would like to place beverage orders and then ran through the daily specials (which sounded delicious). We ordered cocktails and appetizers both of which were delivered in the perfect amount of time and both of which were really good with the cheesesteak egg rolls and my lemon drop martini being the best ! I went with the coffee crusted filet and creamed spinach for my entree and while the filet was cooked perfectly, the coffee crust left the filet feeling and tasting a bit like beef jerky ... and while it wasn't a bad thing it wasn't what I expected but I wasn't too sure on whether that's what it should've tasted like. The creamed spinach was really cheesy and well seasoned. My friends e hired their entrees overall and we even opted to share a slice of lemon cheesecake for dessert which was sooooo good! Overall a nice dinner experience and I would probably keep Stoney River in my mind as an option should I ever run across one again.

Came here with my sisters who raved about this place. Unfortunately, as someone who doesn't eat beef or pork I found the menu to be limited. The chicken option I went with was just okay. Nevertheless, the star of the menu is the carrot cake dessert. It is absolutely amazing and one of the best I have ever had. I literally have stopped her just for desert because the cake slice is massive and hella good.

Celebrated my birthday at Stoney River in Annapolis. I'd been looking forward to trying this spot, and it didn't disappoint. The food was great! Service was a bit slow at times, but overall, I had a really good experience. Our server, Grant, did a solid job taking care of our party of 10. The steak and cheese eggrolls were the absolute highlight, seriously a must-try. The rockfish was also incredible: flavorful, flaky, and perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience at the old faithful Stoney River for my niece's 18th bday last Sunday. As much as she frequents Annapolis Mall it was her 1st time there and she loved it! The Steak Rolls and Stacked Cheeseburger were both juicy and the burger was truly stacked! The burger doesn't even need all the fixins. The Rockfish was buttery, lemony and flaky. Sky was our server & was outstanding! She knew the menu well, was very courteous, and hilarious and it was only her 1st day at the Annapolis location when she hails from Towson. The 5 stars, STILL!

This is the "medium" cooked ribeye which I brought home.

This was my second time at this location. The first time being a while ago. The ambiance hasn't changed much, but the quality of the food and service has. My most recent experience most definitely cannot compare to the first time I was there. In my opinion, things have gone down. The quality of my ribeye was subpar. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was definitely medium rare at best. The flavor lacked the depth and richness that I look for in a good ribeye. It was presented in two medallion pieces with no sear. However, the au gratin potatoes were the star of my plate. Perfectly sliced & seasoned with the perfect balance of creamy richness. I told my husband, they could've been my meal with the house salad I ordered. He had the sea bass, which appeared well cooked on a bed of sautéed spinach and rice. He enjoyed it, just felt they could've given more of the accompaniments. Let me say, our actual server was extremely pleasant and attentive but the food runners had this way of sliding our plates on the table while never slowing down or stopping. I felt as if our food was being "dealt". It was unlike anything I've experienced before. I feel like it was an off night for them because I know their potential so I'll be back. Give them a try if you've never been here and let me know what you think.

Cobb Salad, the seasonal Beet Salad w/ shrimp, and a lemon drop martini

This is my first time dining at Stoney River and it was pretty good! I dined there with a friend for lunch and sat in the bar area. From the time we entered we were greeted by such warm and friendly hostesses. They were great! The service was good and the decor in the restaurant was modern, open, and upscale. For lunch we both tried salads. I had the Cobb salad with some modifications (no bacon, blue cheese or ranch dressing). I added Parmesan cheese and had the fresh herb dressing. It was AMAZING! This is the best salad I've had in a while. It was so flavorful, the perfect portion and I'll definitely be having it again. My friend had the beet salad and added sautéed shrimp and she loved it! She said the salad was so fresh and the fried cheese and dressing was a welcome surprise. Now here's for my minus star.... The drinks. I initially ordered the lemondrop mojito (two of my favorite drinks combined). As I took a sip, the flavor was tasty but I started to feel off. I immediately asked the bartender if it was pineapple in the drink (I'm allergic) and he said yes. Not his fault, but rather the restaurant. Maybe adding a description that at least includes main ingredients would be appreciated as I would have never guessed two drinks that do not include pineapple would in the combined version. The bartender took immediate action and made me a traditional lemon drop martini which was tasty but I took a star off due to the establishments lack of autonomy. My best friend had a Hendricks gimlet up and said that it was pretty bitter is if too much like was used. Here are our scores: Cobb salad - 5/5 Beet salad w/ shrimp - 5/5 Lemondrop Mojito - if I wasn't allergic I'd say 5/5 it was tasty but I can't have it! Lemondrop Martini - 5/5 Hendricks Gimlet - 3/5 All in all we were pleased with our experience and said we'd like to try brunch next!

The steak lacked flavor and felt low quality for the price. The "fried chicken platter" was basically oversized chicken tenders marketed as an entrée, and the mac and cheese was watery and bland instead of rich and creamy. I think after 3+ visits and only having 1-successful trip, I don't think I'll return here anymore - not including the wine-tasting and membership.

Was the steak worth a special trip here if you are in the mood for a good steak? no. You'd do much better around the corner at Stoney River. Or head down Rt 2 to The American Steak House. Was the chicken worthy of this choice? perhaps. Both the bacon wrapped and the sweet and sour were wonderful. Was the ham destination worthy? YES! The best ham we have ever had hands down-wow. The grilled pineapple was delicious too. The salad bar was plentiful and fresh but I would have liked another dressing choice. (perhaps replace one of the white ones with a tomato based) The mac and cheese was very tasty but cold. The buttered corn was a bit addictive and I ended up eating way too much of it. But my favorite food-and one that will draw me back, if only for carry out-was the creme brulee. I've had many of these over the years and never one this outstanding. The addition of the orange flavor to the burnt sugar topping is genius. I found the silly voices of the waiter as irritating as another reviewer on here. I came to the conclusion that it is not something the restaurant does but rather a quirk of this man. He was sweet and helpful so I think he has an unusual eccentricity. It was impossible to understand him when he switched voices. But it is not a deal breaker for us-service was outstanding and the proteins kept coming in rapid succession as long as our green box was up. Price is a bit of an issue. We can certainly afford $50 ish per person but as older patrons we just can't eat very much so it seems such a waste. (Wouldn't a senior citizen deal be a big draw???) All in all-we are fans and will be back for a time when we want fun with our food...

I'd like to give a 1.5 but I can't so I'll round up. First…read moreimpressions go along way unfortunately, and since we'd never been here before our party of 6 won't return. Someone in the group noticed the swirling tornado of trash right outside the front door. That didn't bother me, though I could see how someone would think that represents overall management and attention to detail. Just like a previous reviewer upon seating we got our glasses of water but waited about 30 minutes AFTER we'd drunk the glasses dry to get another. At least two of us asked for a refill during that time. So that's quite poor in itself. The first round of meat was actually incredibly delicious (it's why I went from 1 to 1.5 stars before graciously rounding to 2. Yes this could have been a 1 star review). The following rounds ranged from ok-to-good but nothing made us say "wow". Here the Star Rating killers... and I'll start with the big one. Or should I say Bug One. After about two rounds I happened to look down at my salad and saw several fruit flies trying to escape. Either they wanted a better dressing or wanted to go back to the trough, I dunno but at least 3 were trying to get off my plate depressa. You'll ask why I didn't say anything? This dinner was a lovely treat from family members who I may never see again so I didn't want to ruin their gift. I was however watchful to make sure none in the party went for a second helping at the insect bar. 2: I know it's a Brazilian place and the music is trying to accommodate that but unchecked playing of Sepultura over the speakers is a tough bite to swallow at a "nice restaurant". I'm sure someone spotified "artists from Brazil" and simply pressed play. 3. It's actually filthy in there. Sorry but grease builds up.
