One of the worst storage companies I've ever rented it. They raised my rent without even notifying me. I go to talk to someone in the office and no one is there. I called and no one answered the phone either. Totally ridiculous and unprofessional. I will be filing a grievance with the Better Business Bureau and/or whoever regulates these types of facilities. read more

Barbara was wonderful and very accommodating. My husband wanted to rent another storage unit from this place however he was not able to get the discounted price because he is not a new costumer. So, I had to drive over to the storage facility to rent the unit under my name. This was almost closing time and Barbara was kind enough to wait for me to get there and sign the papers. So one day I went back to my storage unit to retreive some items and find something was a little odd. The lock was in place however the latch was not closed, hence the storage unit was unlocked and not secured. I opened the unit and discovered most of my items were missing. So I went to the office and spoke with the manager, Paul. I told him that my unit was not secured and my items were missing. Paul remembers that he discovered the latch was not closed on my unit during one of his "routine lock check" and that my unit was unsecured. He told me that I must've left the lock closed but not the latch and upon discovering this, he said he gave me a call. And that someone must've seen the unit was not locked and stole my items. All these does not make any sense for following reasons: 1. I have another storage unit and when I leave, I make sure and double check that unit is locked and secured. When I think that I had forgot to lock the unit, I would return and check to make sure it was locked and secure. 2. The lock and latch is designed such that it is pretty hard to not to close the latch before using the lock (see picture) 3. My unit is in the corner and a bit tucked in, so there is hardly any traffic or people going by. And if someone happens to go pass by the unit, it's very hard to notice whether the latch is closed or not (again, see picture). 4. I'm not sure if these so-called "routine lock check" is a common practice here or at other storage facilities. 5. Manager, Paul, tells me that he gave me a call to notify me of this, but there was no missing call from his office on my log. Also if I missed the call, he could've left a voicemail or emailed me. I asked Paul why he didn't leave a voice mail or email me and his response was that he was too busy because he has over 800 tenants to take care of. This is a storage unit where tenant upcare is minimal and not an 800-unit apartment building. However when I didn't pay for next month rent because I moved out my remaining items of for obvious reasons, Paul called, left voicemail, text and emailed me numerous times and repeatedly to remind me of the rent payment. He was too busy to give me 1 notification about the unsecured unit but I guess not too busy to give me repeated and numerous notifications about the rent. So take all these reasons and it just doesn't make any sense. And reading from another review, it appears that I wasn't the only tenant from this facility that had their items stolen. read more

I had originally made a reservation with Public Storage but cancelled it immediately after a visit to their facility. I had a bad experience with their staff and then some weirdo that rents a unit said someone tampered with his lock. I knew I had to get the fudge out of there ASAP. I came across this place thanks to google and Yelp. I'm so glad I stumbled across this place sitting in a parking lot at Public Storage... They have a clean facility, friendly staff, and the prices are competitive. They also have a student specials or deals so its best to ask before your locked into a set price. Price is not set permanently. You must lock it in within 6 months by paying (for the next however many months you need) before they do an evaluation. Im glad the units here are CLEAN, are climate controlled, easily accessible, and NO WIERDO'S around. I knocked down a star because I had trouble closing my unit because I could not reach the latch. I could not close it since there was no rope attached to the unit. All the other units had a rope... Luckily, the office was open so I had to call them to come and close it for me. I also requested a rope, however they ran out...? It was a necessity and therefore I had to call the property manager the following day to tell her she should provide one. I told them they should take it off an empty unit if they were out. Later that day, I went to my unit and they had attached one. THANK YOU! read more

This is a GREAT place if you live in the Fullerton/Anaheim area , Check it out! Storage Outlet has; inside units , drive up units , RV- parking spaces, and climate controlled units. The prices are reasonable (compared to others in the area), place is Clean & kept up well and they offer some pretty good specials! It's kind of hard to see when driving by but now they have flags outside that say "Self-Storage" So, you can't miss it! Lol If you need storage give them call... Great on-site staff. Stella worked with me to get in and settled, answered all my questions. All the staff are great to work with. Good access hours - 6 am to 9 pm. Just be sure to get their business card with their actual local phone number. I found that their posted phone number online in some places is incorrect and results in always getting dumped to phone mail and a totally full voicemail box. Other than that, no complaints. read more

Business owner replied to my complaint of a person living in the storage unit, and said they would look into it. 1 month later my unit is broken into and thousands of dollars of camping gear stolen, and the thief had a key. The manager is a useless thug probly gave the guy living in the unit across from mine the key. And yes when u buy the lock there its new and they only give you one key and say that they throw the other keys away. My storage unit did not have any damage and the locks are all those circular type. Went to storage a month later, my hall doesn't have any cameras and it smells like a homeless person. Seen him come into his little home / unit while I was there. I've already reported this to management three times, and made a police report about the stolen equipment and gear filed an insurance claim with the storage beware of putting your valuables here. read more

This place deserves 0 stars! Horrible service! I've had 2 really disappointing, unfair, and ridiculously lousy experiences here in the past week. 1. Earlier this week I needed to use the restroom while I was there so I walk to the main office and one of the employees is coming out of the side door. Before she closes the door I tell her I need to use the restroom. She turns around and locks the door and tells me sorry I need to show a unit? What? Ok can I use the restroom? No. What? What do you mean no? You expect me to urinate in my pants at your doorstep? She walks away. Right. Great service. Next time I'll urinate on your doorstep. 2. I just got home from being locked inside the gate. I got there @ 845, unloaded my truck, and got back to the gate at 903. My code doesn't work and they prompt me to call management? I drive around to see if anybody is there and there's one guy who says his buddy is coming to open the gate at midnight. I need to get back to my wife and newborn daughter I worked extra hours for more income for the baby. Ok so no one's there. I call the emergency number 10 minutes later. $50 to open the gate? Ridiculous. My other option is to park inside and sleep in my truck. Ok. Yeah. Good thing I have a blanket in my truck. Pathetic. Nope. It ends here. Horrible. $50 out of pocket and already overpaying? No. Definitely not. I'm cancelling first thing tomorrow morning. I found a place closer to home & $60 cheaper per month. Praise God! Had the answer to all my questions and showed me the storages available before I made my choice

I have had a unit here for a short time so far. Grounds are kept clean. Hours for access is great as compared to other places. Inside units are very clean & cool even when it is hot out. Haven't had any issues at all since being here. Except they claim to give you a discount if you pay in advance which I learned to be false as I paid for 4 months in advance and didn't get a discount. So no need to pay in advance if there is no discounts as I was told moving in. read more

Beware. They will charge you for a space without you signing any paperwork, agreeing to a space, or giving you access to the facility. This is illegal and fraudulent. They also have contractors and businesses working out of the storage units, with people coming and going that are not renters but rather are workers for unlicensed businesses working out of the storage units.
