This is our first storage locker. The service was good, facility was fine, it was clean, the price was good, but with an antiseptic smell which may be required to mask some of the smells coming from some of the lockers. I agree with most of the positive comments I have read here. However I feel compelled to point out some things not mentioned that bother me. I left thinking I wouldn't want to spend any more time there than needed. On our show around visit, we pasted one locker that was open and occupied by someone I couldn't see, but smelled. The locker smelled so bad, it triggered me to ask if people were permitted to live in the lockers. I was assured that no one is permitted to live in the lockers by night but that's only about 8 hours of a 24 hour day. I left a little worried about who we might be confronted by on future visits. The facility is kept very cold, probably to help discourage people hanging out there all day and hold down smells emanating from lockers like the one we past. Naming the ilse was great idea but posting the numbers for the each isles would finish the job. One last thing, my daughter who found this company, just had her monthly charges raised after just 6 months. Not sure I will continue with StorQuest with a rate increase, without some real attempt to eliminate these smelly units. read more

I was referred to StorQuest by my neighbor and I am thankful for the referral. I made my reservation online and received a call from Amanda to find out if I had any questions. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional and answered all of my questions thoroughly and even ones I didnt ask, which was great. I went in the next day to rent the unit and was greeted by Karen. She too was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She .showed me a couple of units while filling me in on the hours of operation and other facility related bits of information. It was a delight to spend time with her. The facility is large but easy to get around and they have everything you might need as a renter...boxes, tape, locks etc. The prices are great and the facility is clean. It is not 24 hour accessible which for me was not an issue. It is gated and secure. If you need a place for storage, this is the best deal in the area with the nicest people. Not à very good facility. A very busy body manager named Karen. Seems to like to talk too much and gossip. I once told her I was moving and she turned around and told the stranger who later signed in that I was moving! That is uncalled for! I will never rent here again and I will never recommend to ànyone else! Seems like she has too much tim3 on her hands if she has time to gossip! On the otherhand, there was a younger worker named Rocky who àpologized for her bosses behavior. I thought that was very mature of the younger Worker. Seems like their roles.should be reversed. The Karen lady should.be written up for tàlking and gossipping as much as she does. My husband recently left Storquest and transferred to ànother facility around the corner where they do not gossip. Looks like more.and more are leaving storquest because of this Karen person. A workplace is.no place for such à busybody!! read more

Karen and the other staff here were friendly and helpful. I was not properly using the ramp on my 14 foot U-Haul truck, which left a two inch bump at the top. Karen showed me how to lift and hook the ramp properly so that the top was level with the truck bed, and then suggested I roll the cart directly into the truck bed to load from there. Saved me a ton of time. Hour and location are great; just about a 10 minute drive from the 405. Clean storage also. read more

This facility is terrific.....professional, safe and clean. The staff is excellent headed up by Karen who is not only professional but a wonderful person. I have been a customer for years and have referred many people...all of whom have been equally happy with the Torrance Storquest. I trust this storage facility 100%. Storquest is beyond your typical self storage units. It is run like a fine tuned machine & the customers are treated like family. I have been storing at this facility for close to 16 years & can give them the excellent ratings they have earned, because they have proven to be a place of business who ultimately cares about their customers. Cindy was amazing to work with. She went out her way to offer an unusual storage solution, different than what I had planned, but better suited to my needs at a better price. Rented one storage in it for a year and a second for six months. Cindy was always available to make sure I was taken care of. Would not even consider any other place for the next rental. read more

Expensive storage unit. I really just needed 2 months of a small unit because I was purchasing new bedroom furniture and I liked the deal I got so I bought it before selling the old furniture. The unit was not clean I had to make sure I wrapped my old furniture so that I can sell it as fast as possible. read more
