I'm new to Lancaster. Here like 6 weeks. This is my 3rd time ordering pizza and I have to say this one is my favorite so far. It isn't the best pizza ever but it was pretty good. I think the key to good pizza is the crust. This place's crust wasn't that great but at least the sauce wasn't overly sweet like the other pizza places in Lancaster. (Not everything needs sugar, people) The pepperonis are big. I've seen it done like this before but not as good as this. I haven't really eaten anything all say so I ate half a pizza and it was really good. Again, not THAT good but better than the other places I got before. I will definitely come back to this place. The delivery guy was nice and he didn't even fret when my little ass dog was barking at him. Pizzaman was nice. I ordered delivery and it was fast. That is why I gave them 2 stars and not just 1. I ordered an italian stromboli and mozzerella sticks. i bit into the stromboli to find RAW dough. It was not cooked through and the meat was not even hot! Then as I was eating my mozz sticks, I found a hair! And it definitely was not mine. Sorry Metro, these mistakes are too grave. Usually have good experiences, today 11/24/18, not one of those times. Ordered 2 lg pizzas, 1 meat lovers, 1 pepperoni. Both thin crust pizzas. What a mess they were to eat, let alone to look at. The toppings slid to one side and we had to eat them with a knife and fork since it was a mess. I can't say that the pies tasted that good either. I wonder if they got a new cook? I only am a couple of blocks away, so I may be a little biased in my review. Overall, the pizz is pretty good for being so cheap. So much better than the pizza chains (I'm looking at you pizza hut and dominos!). Pizza and food are made relatively quickly. All of the submarine sandwiches come with free fries, owever, you have to ask before you get them. The only real downside is that the place doesn't have air conditioning for its employees. They most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with, the manager and employee decided to close half an hour early despite me calling at 9:30pm in which they still had 30 minutes to make a damn pizza, I ask to speak a manager and you can hear the manager in the background yelling that they closed and employee hung up multiple times despite asking to speak to the manager regardless if they were closed or not. My husband and I are addicted. We started getting Metro off and on when we moved into our current home. At first my husband liked them better than I did. However, after some health issues, my new medications changed my pallet. Their crust is kneeded to the perfect point for the chewy mouth feel so many of us crave. Their cheese is mild, but not flavorless plasticized chemicals either. I've also developed a fondness for their sweet peppers, a topping not every place stocks. I have found that between 5:00 & 7:00, they are often trying to get too many pies through their oven too quickly. The oven sometimes can't keep up.
