    Honey butter cinnamon roll
    Blake Y.

Amazing!! Cinnamon rolls are some of my favorite baked good so I have high expectations. I recently saw this business on social media and made sure to catch them at a farmer's market this weekend. Totally worth it! The cinnamon rolls are light and fluffy with the toppings not being too sweet. The service was quick even though we did have to wait in line for maybe 20-30 minutes. Both individuals working were kind and friendly. Love the trailer they work out of as it was super cute and clean. They set out some umbrellas and seating as well. I definitely recommend getting to where they are early to avoid lines and get the flavors you want!

Found them at the shadelands Walnut Creek farmers market and was drawn to the line to see what the fuss was about. There was one guy manning the truck and he was very sweet, friendly, and chatty but sort of to the detriment of the line moving. Ordered the orange blossom cinnamon roll which was pretty good and fluffy. Chose to have the glaze over it vs frosted and got it to go, and by the time I got home the glaze had puddled beneath the cinnamon roll. Should've gotten the frosting instead of glaze, for more substance. Overall it was good but not amazing, not sure I'd have to go back. But worth try!

Drove to the Historic Folsom Market just to try these fabulous cinnamon rolls. There was a long line but it was moving pretty quickly. I bought 4 different but forgot to take a pic because we ate them all. Make sure you follow their IG so you know where to catch them.

Vanilla buttercream, chocolate buttercream, matcha buttercream, and raspberry jam

First off, the team is absolutely amazing! Their story is powerful and their craft is amazing. I love the buisness they have created. When I met the lead baker she said that they wanted this to have the energy of being "everyone's bakery" and they truly pulled that off. From the excellent customer experience to the delicious fresh baked rolls hand frosted where everyone can see. I loved the concept of the giant windows on the trailer so the customer is really watching the creation of their baked goods. The whole layout and branding was adorable. They had a little table in the front and a side counter where you could enjoy your roll right there. My personal favorites have to be in between the vanilla buttercream and the raspberry jam (they were all super good though!!). I also had a matcha lemonade which was super solid. I went to the Carmichael market and a heads up, get their EARLY! The market opened at 9ish and they already had solid out of two whole trays! The line got progressively more and more long as the morning continued. So if you want a specific flavor I recommend preordering or getting there earlier (it's well worth an early morning though!). Can't wait to see the business flourish and will definitely be coming back for more in the near future!

This place is like a cross between being with your favorite aunt and sitting on the porch on a sunny afternoon! The flavors of each part of the cinnamon roll reminds you again and again what real food should taste like. The chocolate frosting is made from cacao, butter and sugar. The owners are delightful and obviously committed to putting their all into each part of baking. Stop by and let them make your day. Tell em Yvette sent you!

Delicious find in Sac Carmichael Farmer's Market today! We saw a super long line of people and I asked my friend, "what's up with this line?" We hopped in line and immediately, the sweet aromas of butter, sugar, cinnamon, Vanilla, and more mixed up in our noses and we stayed in that line. Wow, these cinnamon rolls are worth the wait! They are so kind also! I can't wait to get more for family and friends!

Ever since we tried their cinnamon rolls I couldn't stop thinking about them! Best I ever had!!! I'm a baker and everyone says my cinnamon rolls are the best. Um, no, they aren't anymore!! So soft. Fresh out of the oven. Flavorful frosting. I HIGHLY recommend. Get there early wherever they set up shop! They sell out!!! Extremely friendly service.

Chefs kiss absolutely perfect! I tried the chocolate frosted cinnamon roll with a touch of sea salt, and it was so incredibly soft and flavorful. Service was top notch as the cashier was kind, patient, took their time to explain the menu and different options they offer, and so forth. I tried their cinnamon roll at their farmers market stop by the McKinley rose garden so the ambiance can't get any better as you can enjoy your treat and shop around the farmers market. I look forward to trying their drinks next time!

My eye was first drawn to the churro, I haven't been able to have one in years, I was so excited. It was everything I ever wanted in a churro. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, and coated with cinnamon sugar. I could have polished off a dozen of them! The apple fritter was also on my must try list. I grew up loving apple fritters and since having to go GF, it is my most missed donut-adjacent treat. This one was smaller than a normal one, but that was fine because I could actually enjoy it without it being too big. Perfectly fluffy with apple pieces and spiced just right, it was delicious. The cruellers were nice and crispy on the outside and just sweet enough. Glazed with chocolate or regular icing, they are a perfect donut. I have recommended this spot to others that are GF, they need to experience the joy of a prefect GF donut!

Both tasted very good but slightly different without dairy. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the flavor and textures. My friend ended up with the white chocolate macadamia nut cookie which was also great. I love a crunch or different texture mixed in. She did mention that the Rocky Road tasted a bit off because of the lack of dairy and the texture was a bit unusual. The staff were polite and patient and the place didn't seem that crowded for a Thursday around dinner time. I suppose with Ginger Elizabeth's and Rick's Dessert Diner all on the same strip, there is a lot of competition for dessert places here. We were happy to try something new. Everything was fairly clean and there was plenty of bar seating as well as a few tables. I believe there were also tables outside.

I only intended on grabbing one but everything looked absolutely beautiful so I couldn't make up my mind. The cherry pastry was a stunner and delicious as well with great flavor and a nice balance of sweetness. My husband wanted the Estelle Noisette and although it was good, it was my least favorite of the three. It had pleasant nutty flavors but it was a little too rich for me. In the end, the real standout was the Blueberry Choux. The cream was light and fluffy and it had just the right amount of blueberry flavor. I really liked the texture of the pastry too and how it complimented the fluffy cream. I would definitely order that one again and highly recommend it. The pastries are definitely on the pricey side, but the quality and presentation justify the cost. The interior of the shop was nice and definitely reminded me of patisseries in France. There was plenty of seating available inside but I took my order to go. I'm really glad I finally got to give them a try and while not every item was a home run for me, the Blueberry Choux alone made the visit worthwhile. I will definitely be back to explore more of their offerings very soon.

Rick's was the only place open late that had actual desserts. I mainly ate their cakes. They looked amazing. But I really did not enjoy them. Too dry. Just not good, compared to other bakeries in town. Over the years, Rick's remained a Sacramento staple, and when they opened up their new location in Midtown, the dessert community welcomed them back and embraced their sweet offerings, bigger space, and late night hours. I never went til just a couple weeks ago. Around 9pm on a Friday night I was craving banana cream pie and the husband wanted cherry pie. On Yelp search, Rick's came up as the top choice that was open. So we went and stood in the long line. The place was crowded and loud. Lively and busy vibe. Café de Olla is a classic Mexican coffee that offers a well-balanced blend of coffee, cinnamon, and brown sugar, often served with heavy cream to give you a comforting and energizing boost. Traditionally, it's even served at funerals as families celebrate the passing of a loved one into a better life. It's meant to be warm, rich, and meaningful. However, the café's version was far from that. The counter staff overpromised their Café de Olla, but it tasted terrible. When I asked to switch to a mocha because of how bad the coffee was, their friendly smile quickly disappeared. They didn't offer a replacement or try to make it right. Instead, I had to pay again for the mocha just to finish the coffee break with my wife. Very disappointing experience. It was an easy decision not to come back.
