If you could only see one thing in Nashville, this would be the one thing I would recommend you to…read moredo. We parked at Opry Mills mall near Dave & Busters and walked over to the theater. The show is a mixture of live stage performances and short videos showing the history of the Grand Ole Opry as they just celebrated their 100 year anniversary of being on the radio on November 2025. The performances are a live cast to radio 650 AM WSM. For our show, we had 7 singers and one comedian. The production quality (camera and sound), emcee, and backing musicians were excellent. I thought all the performers were top notch and very talented. Three singers debuted new singles that night. The Grand Ole Opry is a good mix of entertainment and hearing something you've never heard before. I don't consider myself a country music fan, but appreciated all the performers. This is something really unique to Nashville and should be prioritized if you're in town.

Trisha Yearwood and Keith Urban were the most familiar and each shared their personal stories of how Don has influenced their lives. John Foster, an American Idol winner, opened the night with Tulsa Time. The Isaac's were amazing and their harmonies unforgettable. We loved the relaxed feel of the event and and how respectful the audience was of the stories being shared. It was by far the most enjoyable concert I've ever attended, and I wasn't a country music lover prior. That is changing as a result and I bought a t-shirt to show it. We came early and parked at the mall where we had dinner. This allowed us to walk to the Opry afterwards. There are lots of stairs which I think would be challenging for someone who struggles with walking.

Ohhhh what a time we had! The amazing Paige made sure we enjoyed every bite and taught us a lot…read moreabout the food of Nashville, as well as the backstories on how they came to be! She even provided the back stories of the historical churches & buildings we passed on our way to each location. She was sweet, hilarious, spunky and after telling her ALL 12 of our names just once - she remembered them all, the entire 3 hours we were together! We enjoyed ourselves so much and I'm so grateful we signed up - I honestly don't think we would have received the same experience of Nashville if we had just gone to these places on our own. We stopped off at 5 different eateries, all were pre-picked for us so we had no idea where we would be going. Unfortunately, not all of them struck me as worthy of a second visit but it was new to us (except for Prince's, we had stumbled upon them the day before, whoops) and I will say I'm not the biggest sweets fan but the Goo Goo cluster was the perfect way to end the tour! Thank you Paige & Walk Eat Nashville!
