The Dog House quickly became our place of refuge during our time on Cape Cod. We had a few…read moredisappointing experiences at other restaurants on the Cape, so we ended up coming back here two or three times throughout our trip because it was just so consistent. The hot dogs are pretty good. They're nothing completely out of this world, but they're definitely worth trying. We ordered the Glendon Beach Dog, the Sonoran Dog, and the West Dennis Dog, and the Glendon Beach Dog was by far our favorite. The real star of the menu, though, was the Dirty Fries. They are absolutely gigantic and so worth the price. Honestly, for Cape Cod, the prices here are actually pretty reasonable, which I really appreciated. Another thing I really appreciated was that they accommodated us even though we showed up about 10 minutes before closing. The service was awesome, and they were still incredibly welcoming. They also have a really cute outdoor seating area that adds to the whole experience. And I have to mention the lemonade because it was SO good. It was incredibly tart, sour, and refreshing, which is exactly how I like my lemonade. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area or visiting the Cape. We kept coming back for a reason.

How could we get our food so fast? Well we checked our food before we were headed to the beach (luckily) and the food was cold, dry, awful and clearly precooked (on a very slow night. the French fries were not even the slightest bit warm. Really sad excuse of an establishment. We spoke to the manager and got a refund and an I'm sorry. But no excuse for having food sitting around and then selling it to customers.

This is a place to have good whisky and steak at first glance, but the menu opens up to banh mi and inventive burger options. I love cozy interiors and I caught them about 40 minutes before closing. I decided take out because I didn't want to keep them and sat at the bar where the staff was friendly and warm even as they were wrapping up. The food was stand out in terms of taste and portions. You're getting a good sized meal with leftovers for Ptown Holiday or in my case, holigay . LOL. We had Southern BLT and Old fashioned burger, we were primed for nueske bacon but the menu can be durable for more vegetal and gluten free options that are just as scrumptious. Burger was sizable and cooked perfect to medium request. Bacon was rich but crisp and the Grafton cheddar had a melty sharpness you needed. Fries were hefty with crisp and fluff interior. Awesome onion strings so crispy! Fried green tomato held up well in the sandwich and the BLT was delicious overall. Loved this dinner and was a highlight of my vacation. Definitely recommend going for starting in or take out!

The chili is not spicy so good for all taste bud varieties! Also got the hot dog topped with mustard, onion and relish. The homemade relish is excellent I'd definitely get it again. Since this is a food truck, there is limited seating but they have a picnic table and a few plastic chairs if you choose to eat on site. Prices are very reasonable, and they also offer a variety of cans of soda and waters along with potato chips if you want a side (however after eating just the dog you likely won't have room for any sides)!
