Street is a really fun spot with a globally inspired menu that brings together flavors from all over the world. You'll find Greek, Korean, Mexican, and classic American pub favorites all in one place--yet everything feels thoughtful and well-executed rather than all over the map. The dishes we tried were very good, with the empanadas standing out as a clear favorite--crispy, flavorful, and generously filled. I'm already looking forward to going back so I can try their bánh mì sandwich, which caught my eye on the menu. On my last visit, I ordered the gyro along with the curry fries; both were solid choices, with the fries having an especially nice kick. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the staff delivers consistently friendly, attentive service. It's the kind of place where you can try something new every time you go and still walk away happy. I'll definitely be returning for another round. Bon appétit!

Street is a long-time favorite that I have neglected to review. We came down to Portsmouth for a concert and we wisely decided to go to Street! The decor is funky, fun, and welcoming with cool music playing in the background. Our server had a bunch of tables to take care of, but we never felt neglected and she was super cheerful, too. We shared the crispy rice cake with the added bonus of Mexican grilled cheese on top of it. My partner really enjoyed her bountiful and large Cobb Salad. I had the Porchetta sandwich which was tender and juicy and piping hot! Street is tucked in the back of a sorta strip mall, but it's worth your effort to find it!

We were looking for a lunch spot while in Portsmouth and found the Street. What a great place with good food. A globally inspired menu and I loved that they had 'fake chicken' as an option. The Shanghai chicken sandwich with the fake chicken was very good. I liked the combination of the chicken, slaw and dressing. It wasn't too large and included chips had some zing. The only "miss" for us was the Subarashii fries. There was just too much food for an app portion and it was drowning in sauce. The decor was cool and inspired.

Good food overall, but hit or miss on how good. The Thai ribs were awesome and the Cubano was good. So was the Ivy's poison (drink). The bibimbop was okay, it was better once I asked for gochujang. Would go again for the diversity of menu. But probably not the top of my list

    Curry Fries

I decided to get to go. It looked really busy on a Saturday. I ordered the curry fries, bibimbap, and Vietnamese chicken as a side. The person who helped take my order was nice. The other lady when I came back to ask if I could use the bathroom gave me an expression that I ruined her night. The rice for the bibimbap was pretty crunchy. The spinach felt overcooked.. Carrots were slightly cooked, felt a little too crunchy. The fried egg was perfect. Seasoning wasn't overpowering. I see the other reviews and saw that the bibimbap is amazing, and I felt like it was just ok. The curry fries were good, but $14 dollars for fries doesn't seem right.. However I LOVED the curry mayo that came with them. So good. The Vietnamese chicken was very good too, moist and flavorful. I'm not sure if I'd come back, but maybe I need to try the food in the restaurant. Good amount of parking outside.

Very good lunch in Portsmouth. If you get anything, get the curry fries, they were soooo good and unique. The sauce was very tasty and loaded and somehow the fries stayed super crispy. My friend got the Shanghai chicken and enjoyed it. The Cemita burger was very flavorful and cooked well. Thought it was odd everything was served with house made tortilla chips but they were actually very good. Service was quick and friendly despite the restaurant being super busy. Only downside was by the time our meals came we were too full on the fries to fully enjoy!

Me and my boyfriend searched through TikTok for what to eat while visiting for one day in Portsmouth and boy am I glad we landed on street. I am still thinking of those curry fries even days later. Their food was delicious, especially the side meat of Porchetta. Wasn't the biggest fan of their Korean Beef but everything else was so good they still got 5 stars in my book. The vibes inside were really unique and super fun. There was a short line and the restaurant was PACKED on a Friday for lunch. They were very accommodating to my gluten and dairy allergies and my server was the sweetest! Special shout out to the pinto beans, they were epic. Would totally come back just to inhale the curry fries. Highly recommend to foodies looking for a quick bite!

Falafel was wonderful and a huge portion. The curry fries were very good! The service was great as well. Awesome ambiance and really cool vibes. Prices were a tiny bit high for lunch. About $20 to include the fries and feta.

    BIBIMBAP
    Nicole N.

I love the concept of this restaurant! There are so many options to pick from! I got the Korean bibimbap and it didn't disappoint. That was the most recommended dish on their menu. The portion was very big and could be shared between two people. The restaurant wasn't too noisy or crowded during lunch which was nice. If you're in Portsmouth and want to try a variety of foods, definitely give Street a try.

Was lucky to find a spot at the bar for a delicious lunch. The atmosphere, friendly bartender (even while busy), and food was delicious!!

A great selection of seafood apps, and a variety of meat options in the entree section (steak, chicken, lamb, short rib, duck) and a couple of vegetarian items. Something for everyone. It was a Tuesday night and pouring rain. We arrived without a reservation. It was very busy. The bar and restaurant were full. There were two side bar seats available which we happily took while we waited for a table. We had a delicious cosmo and a glass of prosecco while we waited. The server let us know our table was ready, and we did not need to settle our bar tab before going to the table. I love that! I find it inconvenient when restaurants ask people to do that. The server even took our sopping umbrellas and put them in the umbrella stand by the door for us. So nice! We tried 2 appetizers, the Caribbean Curry Mussels and the Seared Ahi Tuna. I can't decide which one I loved more. Both were fantastic. The broth the mussels were in was so flavorful, rich, salty, not spicy, coconut deliciousness. I wanted to eat it all like a soup. There was no bread served with the mussels to soak up the broth...which I would have loved, but not having it did save me some carbs. The seared tuna was absolute perfection. Very slightly seared and served with a well dressed seaweed salad and two sauces (coulis style ) a charred jalapeño aioli and a mango coulis. For dinner we shared the arugula salad with strawberries and goat cheese (although there was very little goat cheese) in a delicious poppy seed vinaigrette, and the miso Marinaded seared salmon with sticky rice and mango salsa. The salmon was fantastic...perfectly cooked, very flavorful, the sticky rice was so delicious and chewy, and the mango salsa added sweetness. I love that they split the salad into two dishes for us. I love when restaurants do this. It's a nice touch to acknowledge the server was listening the we intend to share, and to make it easier for us to do so. And we shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio. I will be back!

We sat at the bar and were handed menu's and our drink order taken. The bartender was friendly and pleasant. She clearly knew the other occupants of the bar as they discussed their families, co-workers and local news. She wasn't quite as verbose with us, but why would she? We had more than enough time to make our selections, and even though we weren't in a hurry, it did feel like a long time. Still, the longer we stay, the more we drink. Right? So that works for tips. ;D She did eventually come over to take our food order between chatting, refilling drinks, welcoming more locals and taking care of bar set-up duties. So she was busy. This is a bar more than a restaurant, and the food was good. There seems to be one person on the bar and one in the kitchen. At least at lunch time. Our food came out at the same time, was warm and well prepared. The bartender put things we may need on the bar top near us: ketchup, forks, etc. and left us to it. She did check on refills during our visit. There is a small restroom opposite the bar that was clean. The ambiance here is neighborhood bar where you come to drink and spend time with your neighbors. Friendly. Not really a 'family' atmosphere. Especially with some of the language. Just FYI. It's a fair sized space and I suspect would be busy on a weekend evening. Definitely a lively spot.

The grilled cheese and tomato soup ($19) was made with a hearty artisan bread that hit the spot on a chilly evening. Similarly, the coq au vin ($26) was classic comfort food, with perfectly cooked smashed fingerling potatoes surrounded by a rich, decadent reduction sauce smothering meaty mushrooms and soft pearl onions. The Signature Burger was pretty good I will say I did ask them to add jalapeños to that order as well which gave it a awesome kick as well but I will say the bun was a little hard so each bite was a bit tough. That wasn't a horrible thing but it made the burger less appealing. None the less that doesn't defeat the FLAVOR because it was good ! The only thing I would've changed was the side.. the sweet potato fries although great normally turned out to be very soggy by the time I walked back to my hotel. Next time I would try a different side. They also forgot to add ketchup for my fries in my to go order although that's my fault for not asking before I left.
