This review will be for the quote I received to have the rubber stone put down on my patio. I had a 17 x 19' cement patio laid for my new Gazebo and I had it coated with acrylic. I wanted to do the covered patio going along the house to match and to get rid of those slippery tiles, the company that did the acrylic coating gave me an estimate to remove the tiles and put down an acrylic coating. I just happened to see the rubber coat Arizona YouTube videos and was very interested in them so I called them up to get a quote. The gentleman came over and I showed him where I wanted the rubber coating what I especially liked about the process was there was no demolition. To get the acrylic coating on the patio would require removing the tiles and cleaning the concrete to get it ready for the Acrylic paint. Quite a job. The gentleman measured the area and gave me a quote of $8'640.00 with a discount of $1'620 for a total of $7'295 Needless to say I told him that was a excessively high quote for the area they were going to coat and the labor. To put it in perspective if they laid the rubber coating on that patio three times, it would equal how much my pool cost before the upgrades I had them do. Anybody who has had a pool put in their backyard knows how much work is involved with various contractors coming to build it. I was expecting a quote of around $3000 which I thought would've been a fair price for it. Remember there is no demolition. They come out the day before spray their adhesive on the tiles. The guy comes out in his pick up truck and trailer mixes the rubber pebbles and they put it on the tiles and the guy spreads it with a hand trell then he leaves, very easy to do as demonstrated on their YouTube videos, to say I was shocked by their price would be under statement. No way should it be that much, to much profit going into this quote. Going to go with the original plan of having the company that did my patio remove the tiles and lay their acrylic coating. $3,200 cheaper than this quote to have that done and that includes a lot of labor of removing those tiles and painting the Acrylic onto the patio which is a labor and time consuming process. read more

I honestly can find nothing negative to say about the job that was completed last Thursday. I ordered this as my neighbor had his pool area done with Rubber Stone and it came out so nice. When the salesman came to my house with all the samples, he carefully helped me pick colors, explained the process and we set the date. Martin Diaz, Jorge, and Angel showed up right on time, and completed a very large job in one day. I have gone over it with a fine tooth comb and honestly can find no defects in the work. I hope it holds up for a long time as it really "classed up" my back yard and patio. But, they give you a great guarantee also, so really don't need to worry about anything. read more

Before I even go into what a headache this company has caused me, my suggestion is run and don't do it. False information, and they absolutely tell you everything you want to hear. I saw them on TV, on Sonoran Living. They made their products and process sound great. I called, and someone came out and assessed my back patio. I asked very specific questions about cracks and what this would fix. Well, after putting down a deposit, in fine print, of course, is how they can't guarantee their product and they don't come fix it. To top it off. Encouraged to use a credit card and to come to find out there's a 3% attached. I never would have agreed to that, especially with this project already quite expensive. I called to state I no longer wanted to move forward. They told me they are charging a 20% fee on the entire project. Mind you, more than what my deposit was. I wanted a fix of my patio. Not a temporary fix or lies told to me sell me. Now, they won't refund me and are giving me an especially hard time. I want nothing to do with this company. Horrible customer service. My suggestion, don't do it, and if you do, please read the fine print on the back they don't make you aware of. Side note- nothing was completed. My project wasn't even scheduled for 2+ months out. read more

They send under experienced workers and charge a pretty penny for crappy work. There was an extra charge for the coping around the pool and it looks like shit. There were over 30 spots that were missed came back to patch this time with an even younger guy now lumping and looks even worst. Gouges in several places. This was a $7500 bill and looks like crap. Don't waste your money like we did. The workers left water bottles laying in my yard, knocked over a statue and chipped it, broke off one of our ground spot lights and used both of pool skimmer heads to try to catch the rubber stone and left them with the shit all over them which hardened and now trash. Never asked to use them either. Besides all the stone that had falling in the pool which clogged up the pool vac and filter. read more

Happy with the product and the results with one exception that will be detailed at the end of the review. Installation crew Luc, Rafi and Ricky did a great job and answered all question and accommodated all requests. All appointments sales, estimates and installation were timely. The one disappointment was the length of the coping that hangs vertical on the edge of the pool. What was discussed at the time of the sales was for the coping to hang just below the original cool decking so as to leave the pool tile in view (approximately three inches in height). What was installed was approximately 4 1/2" height coping that obscures the tile. When the crew lead was questioned, it was stated that currently the 4 1/2" coping was all that was offered. Different sizes were going to be offered in the future. When asked about trimming the coping, he stated that it would not be even , would look bad and he recommended against it. read more

I am so disappointed with this company!! I got charged for 130 square feet of repair and they only did maybe 1 square foot of repair. I asked for a refund and only got less than half back. We had high hopes for this product when we came upon it at the AZ Home and Garden Show 2023. Their booth literature "suggested" that their product would reduce the temperatures of pool "not so" kool-deck. It doesn't. Our testing is the temps are the same. I'm told that the "misleading" sales literature has been corrected, but still arguing about how to make the situation right - so buyer beware! Don't buy if you are looking thermal improvements - regardless of the sales pitch of sales literature. read more

We had a ghastly-looking practice tennis court that we couldn't use due to extreme cracking and lifting down to the aggregate, in many places. Considering how much more expensive it would cost to tear out, and replace with new concrete... this was a better-looking and more cost effective solution. Tim H was a very helpful consultant, and made sure we saw our selected color combination in a sample. Rubber Stone put a new deck around our pool, also a new entry way at the front of the house. They did a fantastic job, color all blends so nicely. They were very fast, only took them 6 hours to complete both jobs. Curt and Like we're the installers,they did a ver professional job and were very helpful and informative. This company has an opportunity to be successful and I heard it was recently acquired, but I wonder if the owner is absentee and not paying close enough attention. The product has a lot to be desired but some drawbacks to - it needs much more maintenance - be sure to ask questions about that. But the real issue is sales staff overselling the real effort required to do a job (thus overpricing). The fact that this company probably has a 50% net (not gross) margin (very rare in small business) says they should be offering white glove service. The employees are all pretty nice, but there is a certain amount of rip-off going on. But here's the kicker: I sent a registered letter in the company's OWN self-addressed envelope, trying to address my concerns after installation and without resorting to social media (used to be a retailer myself), and they refused the letter unopened. I guess its being registered scared them off. Wonder why? Knowledge that there are others out there not very happy with them and they don't want to hear about it? So now everyone else gets to hear about it. read more

The crew showed up with a very rude supervisor an had 5 people with him using our home as a training facility with no permission, the salesman a the install crew are not the same sheet of music .. when the install failed they blamed it on the product then they send out a tech who dumped his left overs in my backyard for my dog to take a look at, then dumped the remaining on my Cox box who they could not open so they wanted me to pay.. now it's discolored again an instead of sending some one out the AMAZING office manager gets defensive an calls you a liar for not following their guidelines .. The poorest customer service we have ever seen. Will never recommend them. we had them lay the Rubberstone in July. The workers did their best during the hottest days on record. as a result the workmanship suffered. After Manny the supervisor came out at OUR REQUEST to come out and review the work, they decided to redo the entire job. An inconvenience for us. Don't even get me started on the terrible customer service from Megan, CSR/office staff ? We sent Derek Wood an email about the issues we had experienced. He said he had been made aware of it , but I guess he never thought it may be a good idea to reach out to us when he found out. Unlike the other customer review, we weren't offered a refund or discount. He also stated on his email response to us that he and Manny would be present when they came out to redo the job. If we could give this company a zero, from misinformation, terrible service and shoddy workmanship. The product is hand troweled however, there is nothing normal about the many trowel marks left. After many missed appointments they finally came back to fix the trowel marks. Before he started, we asked Lorenzo the installer if it would look better after and he said it would. He spent hours trying to fix the scratches and now besides the many scratches we now have valleys and he took out a piece down to the concrete, said someone would comeback and resurface. They filled in piece that was down to the concrete but it stands out and looks like vomit the rest they put a sealer over. They also left epoxy stains on the concrete and on the window slider. Since then, a man claiming to be from the main company has came to look at it and said it was unacceptable and would send out someone out to fix it. We've now been waiting at least 4 months. What was really weird was another sales man wanted to show prospective buyers a completed job and he along with Lorenzo, the installer came out, the prospective buyers were not impressed. Michael Cordova promised costumer satisfaction, but he has not answered our latest messages, the last message he answered was July 5th. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would! I had been emailing them texting this guy named Tim for a couple of months about a design I wanted on my driveway. When I filled out the contact for via their website I included a screenshot of the design I saw on their website. So, when I was finally ready for them to do the job I got a quote one for the driveway and my carport. I'm going to make this long story short. He gave me the quote for both jobs told gim the HOA has to pay for the drive way and I am paying for the carport, it was at this time I asked about the 300.00 rebate that I seen in a magazine at my job. He said he was going to give to me but didn't want to put it in writing on the quote that I had to send to my HOA. Everyone knows how horrible HOA's are collect your money and don't do shit so they did not approve the driveway. In hindsight wish I did the same on February 18th 2022 they came to my home late for the job. I gave them access to my water and electricity. Basically they did what they wanted to do to my carport, not the design I picked or wanted. Request a refund good luck I'm taking them to court. Was they mess up the job they don't try to fox the situation they stop communicating with the customer they did wrong. No copy of the contract, warranty info nothing!!!
