This company came out to drill a hole in our granite for an RO system. The owner, Joshua, was able…read moreto get an installer out within minutes, which was amazing! Unfortunately, the gentleman Frank drilled the hole the wrong size--too big. Now, our RO faucet does not sit properly on the counter, and we will have to rig it up, ruining the aesthetics. We told him BEFORE he started drilling that the bit looked too big, but he insisted it was fine. He didn't measure the bit up to the sizing diagram we provided him. We contacted Joshua, who proceeded to curse and threaten us with lawyers if we didn't pay him. Joshua stated that the services were rendered and that if we didn't pay, he would put a lien on our home (over $250 ). Joshua was screaming that he would show up to our home with lawyers and his crew and that "they don't make 1 inch diamond drill bits for granite (lol)" I mean really, it's a hole. It's too big. The guy didn't measure twice cut once. Calm down Joshua, no need to scream at people. No wonder your employee told us to contact him directly if there were any issues. We are not going to be bullied into paying for services that we didn't request- which is a hole too big for our faucet that we now have to fix. Please look elsewhere unless you like dealing with hotheads. Edit: If the owner thinks this install is acceptable- a wobbly install, not seated on the counter, with a gap visible from across the room, then he really is as delusional as he sounded when he cursed out my husband and threatened to show up at my house with 'his lawyer' if we didn't pay him. If this is the type of work the public wants from a company, and an owner that resorts to immediately screaming and threatening the customer over his employees mistake, then please hire Surprise Granite and good luck with that.

Buyer Beware of using this company. We took our quarts slabs that we purchased from a separate…read morecompany to have them fabricated and installed in our kitchen. After fabrication we picked up the fabricated tops with them telling us that they would need a couple weeks to come out and install. After calls and waiting a month in a half with the promise of "we will get there" they stopped not taking our calls, we installed 3 of the tops ourselves. We had another company come to give us a quote to install the large island/counter height bar and piece that it butts up to it. That piece should have been 26" in depth but is only cut to 25" depth. The patterns on the two pieces do not match where they come together as they should have as part of the fabrication. The wall cut out does not match the bullnose wall, it is a huge square cut. The waterfall edge is not correct it does not have the correct amount of material on the back you can see they drew a line where it should have been. To add insult to injury we had 9-foot remnant piece left and were going to have them make bathroom counter tops and now the owner told us they don't have our remnant piece. The owner does not care and will not help make this situation right. We now must purchase new pieces and pay much more for installation to try and fix their mistakes.

Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. I had my entire backyard deck and pool coping covered in a beautiful custom color (see pics below) which included 33% beige, 33% standard brown, and 33% dark brown. Tony, the salesperson, was very attentive to ensuring I was happy with the custom color and made an extra trip to the house to confirm the above custom color was perfect. The "coping" is the round edge around the pool and was applied and shaped by hand by the installers. Jamie was the lead project person and answered any and all questions I had about the installation and demonstrated excellent craftmanship. Samuel was in charge of mixing and prepping the rubber material - he was so helpful and even helped me trim a few palm branches to allow better visualization of the coping! Also, at the end of day 2, Samuel led the group in replacing some bricks which I had removed from the deck to get my irrigation fixed. I told them I would have that done before they started work the next day, but when I went out to do it, much to my pleasant surprise they had already done it for me! Anthony was also on the team and showed good craftmanship and was a very hard worker. All of them were hard workers, so polite, respected my property and really did a fantastic job which was spread out over 3 days. They cleaned up nicely and Jamie reviewed the paperwork and warranty with me to ensure I understood the proper care and maintenance. After the installation, I noticed some slight touch up work needed and I spoke to Megan in the office and she's scheduled someone to come and take care of that, no problems! I've had a great experience with Rubber Stone AZ and have already received many compliments on the work! read more

Install was end of June and I waited to provide this review in case there were issues. None appeared. From Leah at the front end to the installation team, we were treated with respect and professionalism. The installation was done timely with no leftover mess. We had the rubber pool deck done and a pebble porch. The color variations for the pool deck were amazing and we were able to get exactly what we wanted. It looks great. It feels great. It is easy to clean. We love how it covers and took care of the peeling of the original cool deck and the cracks and fissures of the concrete of the 1983 build. No worries! It is a little soft so we are less worried of grandchildren tripping and falling and bonking their heads. It is not slippery. It got hot in the middle of a very hot summer, but it didn't get hot as to burn the littles' feet. It also cooled quickly. The expense was on the high side, but with a happy wife and safe grandchildren, it was worth it. The pebble covering for our porch looks great and is not slippery when wet. I like that both products are secure yet porous to help drain water from rain or the hose. I recommend the people and the products. read more

I recently bought a house with horribly cracked concrete in the driveway and on the front porch. One area of the driveway had a large crater due to years of water runoff from the roof - and a failed amateur patch job left the surrounding concrete uneven and made the crater worse. My options were Rubber Stone or complete removal and replace. A no-brainer. There is no telling how or when new concrete is going to crack again - so for the improved aesthetics and the lower cost Rubber Stone was just the answer I needed. My whole experience was good from start to finish. Tim came out and spent a bunch of time explaining the process and helping me decide on a color. Meghan in the office was very pleasant, also answered many questions and helped with scheduling (and rescheduling due to weather). The installers Jim, Jesus and AJ showed up right on time, walked through the project with me before they started (they were very conscientious about all the details), and really did a great job! We had rubberstone material installed on our front porch to cover ugly looking concrete. We had a design put in the center of the porch and we had a step built going up to the front door which was covered with the material. The rubberstone material is very beautiful and can be made in many different color options and it is very durable . It has a slightly different feeling than the concrete that was on the porch previously. The installers Renso, Johnny, and Alan were very thorough, respectful, and cleaned up completely after the installation. On the 1st of May I was greeted by Martin the Lead along with Sam & Oscar who were set on turning my rundown patio into a transformed marvel! By the way, they showed up within the window and to me that is ON TIME. Anyways, I got a 3 blend mixture with Sam defining the edges first with a towel as he has done this before. Oscar worked the edges facing the grass and rock area & between both of them they set the stage with no error in workmanship. A miracle occurred when another customer cancelled and we had the install done within a week. Luc, Rafi and Jeremy came out on time, did thorough prep to make sure everything was ready and then got the patio done in no time. Looks absolutely fantastic! Clean up was impeccable. We had our pool deck covered with rubber stone by the super fantastic crew of Renso, Oscar, and Alan. These workers were the best. If I was an employer I would give them a good bonus. They were highly qualified and very meticulous in the mixing and installation. My wife and I were very happy with the sales person Tim who worked with my wife picking out colors. I would suggest having this product installed on every pool deck. We also had our front walkway coated with Vuba stone and we couldn't be happier with the makeover. This is Bob in Tempe ..... NOT the person whose name Yelp inserted above this review. I tried to change it but couldn't. Anyway My Kool Deck was about 13 years old and was cracking due to settling. I liked Rubber Stone's concept and had them come in and quote on it. I knew the cost would be higher than plain Kool Deck, but their product with its flexibility is what I wanted. The installers were Renso, Jonny and Alan. They worked methodically and carefully; it took 6 hours and the results were perfect. Rubberstone is a solid product and delivers great service. This is my second installation from this team. The price is good relative to any paid alternative. Jaime, Sam, Anthony, and Oscar did a great job installing the product in a timely fashion and explain the care of the product well. Of course, like any surface, you have to clean it ... pressure washing with water works great. I have about 3000 sq. feet of Rubberstone on top of Flagstone, pavers and soil. I'm so happy we found Rubber Stone AZ! The Pebble-Tec around the exterior of our pool was crumbling away after years under the Arizona sun. The Rubber Stone product did a great job covering the ugly edges, as well as the Cool Deck. They said it was the worst case they had ever seen, but now it looks so beautiful! And the price of doing this was one third of what other companies told us it would cost to fix. We got to choose the mix of colors we wanted and everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. I had Tino from stressless, come up and redo my shower, and it came out fabulous. He was very meticulous, asked a lot of questions to make sure I wanted things where I wanted them. Our experience with AZ Creative Services has been extremely disappointing…read more We hired AZ Creative Services to repair our pool deck because their salesperson, Nick, assured us they could also solve our drainage issues and claimed they "had an expert." Instead of providing a proper drainage solution, they drilled holes at the base of our home. Afterward, our pool deck began to swell, creating additional problems that we then had to address. When their crew later returned because the pool deck they had installed was already chipping, they used our garden hose during the repair. When they left, they failed to turn off the hose spigot, leaving the water running. At some point, the hose burst, allowing water to run unchecked for an extended period. The water flooded the side of our house and eventually entered our home, causing significant damage. In addition, the crew left a mess of pool deck material on our property, adding to the damage and cleanup we were forced to deal with after they left. We immediately notified AZ Creative Services, and Nick personally came to inspect the damage. At that time, the company waived our repair charges, leading us to believe they accepted responsibility for what had happened. To minimize further damage, we filed a claim with our homeowner's insurance so repairs could begin immediately. Now, more than a year later, our insurance company is seeking reimbursement for the damages, and AZ Creative Services is denying any responsibility. Their complete reversal has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We hired this company expecting quality workmanship, honest communication, and accountability. Instead, we were left with unresolved drainage issues, a damaged pool deck, water damage to our home, damage to our property, and a company that refuses to stand behind its work or take responsibility for its mistakes. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend AZ Creative Services. If you're considering hiring them, I strongly encourage you to think twice before trusting them with your home. Run!!

Before finding Rock Solid, I actually hired another concrete contractor because their quote was a little cheaper and they had decent reviews. Unfortunately, that decision ended up costing me time and frustration. The contractor never came out to look at the site beforehand and relied only on a photo I sent. When the slab was poured, it ended up several inches out of square and badly sloped, which made it completely unusable for placing a shed on top of it. Thankfully I was able to get my money back and have it removed, but the whole experience reinforced something many homeowners learn the hard way: the cheapest quote is rarely the best value. That's when I reached out to Charlie at Rock Solid Concrete, and the difference was obvious right away. Charlie came out in person to survey the site, explain the grading and prep work needed, and walk me through exactly how they would make sure the slab was square, level, and reinforced with rebar since it would support a structure. On the day of the project, Charlie was involved from start to finish. He checked measurements, supervised the crew, and sent photos and updates throughout the process so I could see each stage -- from forming and rebar placement to the final finish. The professionalism stood out. The crew respected the property, kept the area clean, and worked efficiently. Once everything cured, I checked the slab with a level and it is perfectly square and perfectly level, exactly what you want when placing a shed or structure on top. Charlie clearly takes pride in his work and treats every job as if it were on his own property. Rock Solid's quote wasn't the cheapest one I received, but after seeing the result I can confidently say it was worth every penny for the quality and peace of mind. I'll absolutely recommend Rock Solid Concrete and Charlie to anyone needing concrete work, and if I ever have another concrete project, he'll be the first person I call.

Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large.
