We started services with Tyson and Stride summer of 2013 after a sugar ant problem we couldn't handle with DIY methods. Tyson came out and treated our property, and we never had any problems from that point. We continued to use Stride until we moved in Nov 2014. Each visit consisted of treating the exterior, surveying the property for any usual "bug activity", and knocking down wasp nests/spider webs around the property. During the initial visit, Tyson was very personable and answered my "nerdy" questions about the chemicals, their effectiveness, etc.. Overall, extremely happy with Stride: competitive prices, fantastic customer support and effective treatment. I got to know this company when I was searching pest control on yelp because of underground hornet issue. I read through all the reviews and decided to give it a try. I am glad that I made the right choice. Stride is really fast in response and is very patient with me for all the detailed needs. I left a message at midnight and got the reply early next morning. Because my home is an APT condo, so the company owner asked me to get approval from the property owner for the treatment. After all is settled, the technician came and actually treated both my backyard and my neighbor's backyard, he found quite several hornet nest in my neighbor's backyard. After the initiate treatment, we continue to see 2 or 3 hornet, we just spray by ourselves directly on the hornet and killed those. Afterwards we didn't see a wasp anymore. Today is our follow up day, and this time another technician came for the treatment, he spayed the grass around our home. Both technicians are very friendly and nice. I signed up for maintenance plan, hope next year wasp won't come back. I also like them sending me reminder message before the treatment and call before came to the house. I only write when a service is truly outstanding and extraordinary or, conversely, if a service is so bad that other potential customers could be hurt. Stride Pest Control is one of those outstanding and extraordinary companies! The owner, Tyson, is a top shelf, honest, totally customer oriented businessman. My most recent experience was truly noteworthy. I am a business owner myself, and have a retail oriented business with significant walk in traffic. We had a major infestation of ants near our front door. I called Stride and spoke to the owner Tyson myself. He asked me to describe the problem and give him a description of the ants. He was able to determine that it was a relatively simple problem to solve and that I could take care of it myself. I was thrilled since I did not want the ants to affect my customers and time was of the essence. How refreshing to find a business that is honest and so customer friendly. Just had pest control inspection done today for a house I am planning to purchase since general inspector had found possible signs of 'wood destroying insects'. Our tech Daniel was on time, very polite and did a very thorough inspection. He also used shoe covers while walking inside the house. He gave me many useful tips on detecting signs of termite and other pests as well as precautions to be taken for avoiding them. He checked the house inside out and made sure he didn't miss any corner. Daniel also clearly explained things covered in their one time and recurring/maintenance service options and provided clear estimates for both without trying to "sell" one or another. Also kudos to Stride's office staff Rachel as I originally emailed them over the weekend asking for appointment and had a response at 8:30am today (monday). With one email response and short phone call, I had appointment scheduled for the afternoon. I obviously haven't used their services yet, so can't speak to that. But definitely see the professionalism and attention to customer service, so I am sure these guys would be my first choice when I need pest control in future. read more

My second service was performed by Justin and he did a phenomenal job. Since I live right in the midst of a newly construction zone, I started to see a lot of bugs again. Stride sent out Justin to do a spray, free of charge, since my next scheduled service is a couple of weeks away. They will still come out to do the scheduled service in couple of weeks as well. Thats very awesome of them. Justin was very nice and professional. He did an amazing job explaining how the process and what they do different as compared to other folks. I had my first service performed by Daniel (Danny) and he did an amazing job as well. Seem like the owner picks really amazing staff for his team and they all have very good customer service skills. I forgot the name of the lady that I spoke on the phone to setup everything initially but she is also super nice, helpful and very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend their service if you are looking for a ongoing pest control service. If your budget allows for it, I would recommend signing up for an ongoing service instead of a onetime spray, as they give you a very good discount. read more

We have been using Stride Pest Control since we moved to Round Rock almost 2 years ago. I read their ratings here on Yelp and called for regular maintenance of the house we rent. Everyone there is extremely professional and they SOLVE issues with all kinds of critters... whether they crawl or fly - they're gone! Our usual Technician, Alex Randall is knowledgeable, polite and very pleasant, he remembers any concerns we've had in the past. Then Alex tailors each visit to include any new target areas. We have a dog and all the products used inside and out are pet friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend using Stride, especially using their annual contract; if we see something new in between our usual schedule, I call and they come out as soon an possible to solve the problem without additional charges. This update came about after the Harvey storm rolled through Pflugerville. I think that my ant problem would have been MUCH worse had Stride not treated before the storm hit. Still, I was disappointed but not surprised to see a handful of ants appear again in the kitchen after the storm (though far fewer than before - like less than 5). Since Stride had assured me they guarantee their one-time service work for 30 days, I decided to call as we were within that window. It was super-easy to set up the appointment and have someone come out in less than a week. Jason arrived and took a thorough look inside and outside of the area. I had left a couple of the ants alone as well, which he examined and suspected to be fire ants. Jason treated the ants, and I haven't seen any since. We have avoided Pest Control Services in the past because we didn't want to deal with pushy sales people. We were looking for a one time deal and if we liked the company, we would be sure to call them back in the future if we had more issues. I came into contact with Tyson recently and decided to give his company a chance. Boy was that a great decision! The service was more than affordable and to say he was thorough would be an understatement! My husband let him know ahead of time that we were really only wanting a onetime service at this time and even though he made sure to explain the benefit of follow up services, he never tried to push them on us. I've recently moved to Texas and the pests here are a lot different from California. I was looking for a family owned, respectable pest control company to help me keep these darn bugs out of my home, especially since the property I was renting was infested with scorpions! Tyson was professional and earnest about his approach. We had some kind of noise coming from the attic , it turned out to be a big bug that was scratching the vent .. I did try for more of a discount but she emphasized the quality of work and services, so we agreed on a fair price. The technician who visited us now 2 times was the best. Have had great luck with Stride pest control! We were getting roaches and critters constantly, inside and out, and after the first treatment almost saw them completely disappear. There was a "recurrence" about 6months in (probably due to the August heat) and Brett came out, at no cost, to rectify the situation. Haven't seen anything since!
