Super rude staff, they kick you out 20 mins early. They don't even ask you politely to leave, they literally ask you to leave in such a rude manner.

Had a girls night here to see the premiere of "one of them days " with Keke Palmer and SZA it was so good and the theatre was very cute and vintage. I would definitely come here on a date night. They have a variety of cooked foods and snacks. They also sell alcoholic beverages including beer and wine. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and the passion punch... so good. The passion punch is similar to a rum punch but with passion fruit very refreshing and it's frozen. The setting it very intimate. Good for small groups, date nights, ladies night, or even a birthday. The server was friendly and helpful. Very neat clean and organized. I highly recommend.

This a wonderful independent Woman owned theater that features the newest movies. It is spacious yet cozy seating up to 50 people at a time. I did a private viewing and the personalized service and small touches were a delight. My daughter and her friends loved it. They serve delicious concessionitems and food and drinks. This is a MUST visit!!!!

A must have snack & go

I love finding new businesses especially Afro-Latinx business. Stuart's cinema has been around since 2018, they have an iconic menu with one room theater, I'm talking coquito, empanadas, sandwiches etc. I saw Creed 3, it was amazing... felt like I was in my living room but with extreme surround sound. 20/10, movie was also great! I learned from one of the employees that they also host small time film makers or you can rent out their theater, that's amazing. Something I especially love is that it's Dominican-American based... Today was the first time I'm was at this little gem. Walking in I was skeptical and didn't know what to expect. It is a small movie theater very clean and cute. There was your usual movie food menu such as popcorn, nachos, hotdog, pizza and etc. Then they have different snacks and drinks such as cupcakes with liquor, Klondike bars coquito, little bottles of wine, margaritas and sangria. Lamont was great serving us. He was so nice and hospitable. I had an angus hamburger it was so delicious and I'm not a burger person. Definitely recommend. Ohhhh one of the best part is the time me and my family booked for we whole had the whole theater to ourselves. It was so amazing! Also you rent out the whole theater 2 1/2 hours for $600!! So yes you can have your own movie party there!!! You can decorate and have your picture on the main tv screen when you walk in the food area. They have seating in the food area and in side the theater in the back. I also love the fact it's a black owned theater!!! 2 more are coming up around Brooklyn so congratulations to the owners!!! I love this theater!!!!

True local gem. I was having a rough day when I walked in honestly. My boyfriend and I had just argued. In 1 minute, Chef Lamont turned that around 100%. He had us laughing and smiling and having the best time. Made it feel like a 5 star experience with the customer experience that he provided. It almost felt like I was visiting family - that's how warm the welcome felt. If you want to come, even just to grab a snack and relax, this is the spot. Prices and drinks are pretty good too

I came to this little cinema for a free screening of the epic documentary "Revolution of Our Times" - it was such an intimate and communal experience that I, among the other audience, was touched and cried. Thank you Stuart Cinema for hosting this screening! And thanks for making such a delicious homemade horchata, which had been embedded as a part of this memory!

I've never actually watched a movie at Syndicated but I've had good and drinks here. The food is absolutely delicious- Curly fries, Fried chicken sandwich, their burger omg. The reason I said Maybe recommend maybe not is because the place is most certainly haunted I've had very suspicious experiences there and I did some research an it used to be a crematorium?!!!

(This is a 4.5 star review)…read more Syndicated has quickly turned into one of my favorite places for an outing-whether it be a solo-date, friendship date, or date date- this place never disappoints. The interior is quite industrial, but it has a trendiness to it that can only be described by visiting. Although I don't often sit at the bar, I totally would if I lived closer to Williamsburg and had the opportunity to visit more often. The movies are often lesser-known, with the exception of some bigger names and you really can't beat $10 tickets. I don't often drink here (although they sound super interesting with names like "drag me to hell" and "lady snowblood"), but the food/snacks I've ordered, while not anything breathtaking, really do the trick for a movie snack. I'm a huge fan of cheese fries and the waffle cheese fries ($10) I got here were greasy, cheese, salty, and crispy and paired with a cold coke-were great. My only qualm about Syndicated is the movie selection. I'm not sure how many theaters there are, but there are very limited options so it's a bummer when I'm dying to go there but am not thrilled about the (typically two) options that are available at any given time. Definitely do recommend a visit though, even just to broaden your exposure to various films.

They also let you bring in food. My biggest tip would be to sit in the outer part of the row. The seats gave me flashbacks of being on an airplane. It was a tight squeeze getting out. Literally nobody was moving and then there was this random ballon and some guy's feet. I ended up tripping on someone's foot. And plummeting to my almost death. Embarrassing. During the middle of the film and with a small crowd, the racquet could not me missed. So I'm saving you from any future embarrassment ahead of time. The movie I picked was "B Movie: Lust and Sound in West Berlin 1979-1989" documentary. I have been trying to see this film for over two years. It captures the essence of life in Berlin in the eighties. It was truly a magical and creative space where musicians and artists would come from all over to experience. You will spot famous young baby versions of Tilda Swinton, Nick Cave, Blixa Bargeld, Keith Haring and many more. I love the music during that time in Germany so live footage of Malaria, Abwärts and Einstürzende Neubaten was incredible. I will definitely be returning with Vannesa's dumplings in hand and my seat in the outer row. Thanks Spectacle for still caring about film and sharing it with us. This is the kind of place that makes NY a unique and wonderful place to live in.

We did arrive to see Purple Disco Machine and unfortunately we didn't know the set list earlier so we were about 2 hours early. The rooftop and venue catered to quite a young group of people tonight; however, they appeared to be well- mannered and surprisingly not on their phones. This was refreshing. We grabbed a taco at the food truck before we entered because you can't leave after you enter. Hung out and waited for the deejay. The set was very good. A lot of dancing. By this time, 230a.m. the bathrooms were disgusting. All non gender. But filthy. They should have someone do a sweep every 30 minutes; especially when they have a sold out show.. outside of that, pretty special place in Brooklyn.
