My husband and I were in town for a wedding in Simi Valley and I booked an appointment with Crissy G. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful of an experience it was to work with her. She helped to create the vision of hairstyle I've been wanting for years (I have a lot of hair and many beauticians have told me in the past It's really hard to do. No one was ever up for the task till Crissy). She was seamless with her execution of my hair. She was quick handed, focused, and precise. She did such a great job with my hair that even when at the wedding when I'm dancing /jumping around, everything stood in its place. She also matched my makeup perfectly to the dress color I was wearing. And same goes for the makeup as well- as practically sweating by the end of the night from dancing so much and the make up stayed on just like when she first did it. It's really hard to find great products these days, let alone great customer service. Crissy truly cares about her craft and cares about her customers wants as well. In my short time with her, I got to learn of how loving of a human being she is. She is humble, she is funny, and she CARES! I 110% recommend anyone to go to her for makeup and hair needs. Called on Wednesday to schedule an appointment for Friday at 4:30pm. Friday comes around, I walk in about 10 minutes before my appointment. No one acknowledges me until about after 15-20 minutes to ask if I had an appointment. The hair stylist I booked with apparently didn't know she had me scheduled. She proceeds to tell me she just needs to wash out her other clients hair and she'll be with me. I wait another 15 minutes, she's done washing her hair but now she's cutting it. At this point it's almost 5pm and it doesn't look like she's going to finish anytime soon, so I had to leave. I think waiting nearly 30 minutes for an appointment that was SCHEDULED is a bit much. I understand things happen but I expect my time to be respected as much as theirs. read more

I've been a client of Crissy G. since 2017. She is by far the most talented stylist and colorist I've ever had and this is coming from a former New Yorker who has been to the best of the best. She also knows how to cut and style hair pieces. Wearing hair is completing different than having your own. In fact, often what you do to a wig or a piece is the exact opposite of what you do to your own hair, which is why VERY few stylists know how to work with them.
