Whenever I come in and ask for something a little different, she easily understands me and turns my hair into exactly what I envisioned. When I got to the salon, I told Brandy that I wanted to go a bit darker again for the fall, and even though that would add another step and would cut the time close to her next appointment, she agreed and was able to complete it all on time (without compromising the quality of service!). I have been with Brandy Gunter for a few years now, following her to her new salon from The Colour Bar. Given my heinous work schedule, I have never been faithful to a stylist because it is always difficult to stick with appointments. Brandy is amazing because she goes out of her way to work with my schedule. I have seriously sensitive skin; most dyes give me hives. However, Brandy worked with me to find a Davines dye line that works with my skin AND gives me lasting gray coverage. She keeps it real with me given my schedule and gives me cuts and colors that I can easily manage with minimal upkeep (since I am a styling novice and don't want to spend more than 5 min on my hair in the morning). Her portfolio is impressive and I wouldn't keep coming back if she didn't blow me away. Moreover, seeing her is like hanging out with a girlfriend. If you feel like chatting, she's there for you. If I was able to give this place zero stars I 100000 would. I came to Suzy to get my hair done back in October she moved from this salon to a different one and then came back to this salon after I told her other salon place that she was not willing to refund me back after she messed up and damaged my hair at this location. When I came to her she was working under someone else's name but renting a seat from her. She is not a good person and refused to refund me any money back after she complained chemically burnt my hair off I payed a lot of money just so I could turn around go somewhere else and pay more money on top of what damage she had already done the other hair stylist that I went to told me my hair was damaged to the point where I needed to chop of my hair completely. I was deviated because I had virgin hair when I came to Suzy. I had over processed hair and it was supper gummy. Suzy made it impossible to work with her and she even told me "if you can't afford it then just say that" I understand that getting ur hair done is a luxury and I was able to afford it that one time with Suzy I was so depressed and had my hair up 25/7 after seeing Suzy cuz it just made me that depressed. I didn't wanna have my hair down at all I was just so sad. I just want Suzy to refund me back and I will take this down. I just want her to take responsibility read more

I followed Scott here from his previous salon. He's such a great stylist I'd follow him anywhere! I've been going to him for highlights, lowlights, and cuts for a couple years now, and my hair has never looked better or been healthier! He knows everything from which conditioning treatments have small enough molecules to be absorbed into your hair to which colors will give your hair a fuller look! He's always conscious when it comes to color to ensure he won't ever damage your hair and is honest when discussing new cuts and styles. (I'm so glad I consulted with him about getting bangs because he was able to show me how my baby hairs wouldn't let me look the way I wanted to.) What else can I say? He's the best! This sounds nice but it's difficult to find someone that knows how to cut and style it so that I too can style and maintain a nice look.
