Came in for a blowout n practically got a rough dry and then some curls with an iron, so I left with a flat head. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and left with nothing even close to the picture. I could have done a much better job myself instead of paying $120 for them to waste my time and money. I left a tip because I felt the stylist needed the money to go back to school! I am in disbelief that this salon is still in business.

When stylists rush, that's when your hair gets damaged and you end up with broken hair. You can trust that Ly won't do that to you. She's honest with what she can and cannot do with your hair. She is especially great with fine hair. My son is autistic and tugs on my hair a lot so it's extremely damaged. After I leave Ly's chair, my hair always looks so refreshed. After years of blowdrying on high, flat ironing, teasing and generally punishing my fine locks, my hair is on the thinner side and just not as vibrant as it was years ago. I don't cut my hair very often. It's hard for me to trust stylists because so many of them just want to cut it all off and give me the standard layers with framing around my face which I really hate, so it takes all year to grow back. Well, meeting Martha at Limón really made me think that I may have found a stylist that understood. She listened and gave thoughtful, patient suggestions of what had worked for other clients. She understood that although I know I needed to cut off a good chunk of hair, I needed to take it slow. She gave me options, cutting off a bit then after blow drying, let me take a look and decide if I wanted to take off more. Seeing it dry made all the difference and I decided to take off a bit more and felt good about it. Often times I'll leave a salon thinking that it's ok only to get home and realize that too much had been cut and I'd have to wait months and months for it to grow back. Not this time. I felt good about it when I left, and days later when I washed and styled it myself which is kind of rare for me:) The salon is in a convenient location and has great snacks and drinks for their clients.
