Went on a Sunday morning and the line was out the door but moved quick! The staff was very nice and patient even with the line. The parking lot is small on the side of the building, noticed many people parking on the street on the side/back. There was a little path to the road. Bagels were very good! Lots of cream cheese on it. The maple walnut cream cheese was very good in the French toast bagel. The bagel sandwich was good as well! read more

Love the everything bagel - savory exterior and chewy interior. Pairs nicely with their home made cream cheeses - we've tried plain, strawberry cream cheese (my daughter's favorite) and an AMAZING olive cream cheese. They also make really good breakfast sandwiches. I've yet to grab lunch here - but I'm sure it would be good. Friends of ours who had visited before insisted we had to try this locally-owned, NY style bagel shop and bakery. They gave the breakfast here a glowing review, so we came in with some level of expectation. Overall, we were satisfied. The food was quite fairly priced; my bagel sandwich was only $6.50 and plenty filling. My husband and I both thought there could have been a little more flavour to our sandwiches, but they were still tasty. We ate as a group inside the shop, and everyone was uncomfortably warm by the end of our meal, as it was very hot inside the shop-- not terribly surprising since it's a small spot, and the kitchen area frying up food is right there, but it's unusual to walk outside in Florida in September and find it refreshing! We will definitely be back at some point, though. I'd like to try more of their menu out. read more

Someone mentioned to me about this place. We purchased bialys, knishes, and everything bagel. We are from NYC so we were excited to try it. Knishes were great! Bialys were kind of big and doughy was sad not the same, as back in NY, I ate it anyway with lots of chewing. Bagel was ok. Ugh. The driest thing I've ever tried to eat. Absolutely horrendous. Turkey and cheese melt. Former New Yorker and these bagels are just over boiled garbage. We have lived in Cape Coral for over four years and we've heard nothing but good things about this place. I finally got around to try it and I can't believe that I've been missing out all these years. It's a super cute take out with very friendly service! I got the asiago cheese bagel with cream cheese on it which I would recommend. The cream cheese was whipped and was absolutely amazing and they don't skimp on it either!! I hear that the everything bagel with cheese and egg is supposed to be great as well. That will be my next venture because I will definitely be back! read more

I have been here many times and it never disappoints! The food is always cooked to order and hot, and the service is pretty fast for always having a line out the door. It feels like you're in a New York bagel shop and the staff are on top of it in there. It's a smaller location, but they filter people in and out quick which is nice. My only tip is - make sure to ask for your bagel toasted if you want it that way! They don't ask, you have to tell yourself. I feel like I'm there a few times a month at least - so good! read more

We stopped into Stuff A Bagel for a pickup order of a dozen bagels and some whitefish salad. They have a deli counter and a few tables. The service was friendly, quick and efficient. The bagels and fish salad were delicious. The bagels stayed fresh for few days. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the area. read more

Used to be my favorite place to go since I left New Jersey, and unfortunately it's not worth it anymore. First told at 10am there are ZERO rolls...which ok, they get very busy. I can understand that. So I continue to order a Jersey Turnpike(pork roll egg and cheese) on a croissant with salt pepper and ketchup. And I get this. 99% egg and 2 very thin slices of pork roll, and no salt pepper and ketchup. I get maximizing profit, but this is a completey different level. About 15 bucks The reuben with a small portion of cole slaw and a small danish tasted very good. The problem is everything is SMALL & PRICEY. But I walked in to Stuff A Bagel and I'm glad I stayed, you know it's legit when there's Seinfeld on the television, the NYT on the counter, a chatty older gentleman at a table with a tall cup of hot coffee and gold pinky ring on. We ordered a lox deluxe on onion and a pastrami on everything, y'know what else we got? YOO-HOO IN THE CAN (another staple sign of legitimacy) and a pound of rainbow cookies (which are impossible to find half decent in SW Florida) everything we ordered was divine, the pastrami was beautiful and mouthwatering, the bagel tops shiny and just an absolute treat. Not worth a second trip for me. The bagels were decent for this area but not a great bagel. Had the "nothing to write home about" nova on bagel with light onion and capers. The onion was chopped in hunks instead of thin rings, the cream cheese is whipped and very fluffy and oozes out of bagel, I prefer mine not whipped or just a slight whip. ( I understand a business using that to save money) I also thought it was strange that even though I was dinning in, it was wrapped in paper and put in a bag. I sat down and proceeded with my mediocre coffee to put cream and sugar... they had fake stuff in a dispenser but I'm a "real cream" kind of coffee drinker. The tiny cream cups in a bucket I peeled one by one trying to get my desired taste and I noticed... curdling I expect it to happen, it's hot...but that's why you try and avoid that with ice or some sort of refrigeration..a insulated chilled pitcher of half and half would have been nice. I get they don't want to clean the pitcher, but...love is in the details when it comes to a kitchen IMO. I was given a new cup and offered milk, (not half n half like I wanted) from the kitchen, I agreed as I didn't want the fake stuff, so they poured it in the cup from the back room and brought it to me...not light enough but, I took it, they were busy and seemed a little disorganized. I did notice that no one came to remove the basket of creamer cups, I guess it's like a box of chocolates...some are good, some not so much, maybe you get lucky. On my way there I called ahead and ordered a 1/2 lb of tuna salad and two pumpernickel bagels to take home. I love real good deli tuna... this was not that. It was a darker tuna fish and had a very fishy smell. I noticed they had "white fish" salad on the menu board, tuna? Idk...I did not inquire. The place is small, and feels neglected. About four tables that people were continually using and leaving and next group grabs, not a single table was wiped down nor was the coffee station checked, I was there about an hour. The staff seemed distracted but very friendly and polite. I live in punta gorda and usually would drive down to The Bagel Factory several times a month, they had fantastic bagels (although they were cooked at the ft myers bagel factory) related by name only as I understand. They also had a very clean and inviting sit down area with excellent flavored and unflavored coffee urns to serve yourself and cream dispensers. They served their items in boxes that could be used as plates or to go, and you got chips and a pickle with the food, and their tuna was top notch; Totally different experience... they have gone out of business (owner retired) and I am in search of another great coffee/bagel/lox/tuna spot. Hard to find in this area. I tried stuff a bagel...which is an even further trek for me but I had hope. Ft myers at the other bagel factory is where I know they have great bagels, but was told their other things were all the choice of owner, so I will have to try and see how they are, stay tuned. The reason I did not go directly to other bagel factory was distance, the cape is closer, but I am looking for an excuse to go to Ft Myers. In the mean time, stuff a bagel is ok for grab n go decent to meh bagel only, better than store bought for sure. read more
