Went here in September. Got a basic bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. It was good but very messy. The distribution of ingredients was a little off as well. My sandwich was done quickly, and while the line seemed long, they get orders in and out really fast. Impressive. Just wish the sandwich had been assembled with a little more finesse. read more

Bagels are always delicious, fresh and flavorful. Order an everything or poppy seed and it's covered entirely. Service is quick and friendly. They had whipped cream cheese (my fav) and other spreads to take home with you. I always get Stuff A Bagel when we have guests staying with us. Food : $$$$ I've been going to Stuff A Bagel for 18 + years and the bagels are the best we have in the area. Recently, I visited one morning for a ham/egg/cheese bagel (no drink) and was charged a little more than $8; I believe ~8.50 out the door. Unless the recipe has changed this is a single egg, one thinly sliced piece of ham and single piece of cheese. I know the costs of food are going up; however, the sandwich really doesn't justify the cost of it. Cape Coral is not really a destination paradise; however, for the sandwich I received I feel I'm being changed what I would pay in an airport, at a vacation island area or maybe Disney World. So, why I'm I writing this email about a place that I obviously like? With my family of 4, all getting the same thing it would cost ~$35 with tax and credit card transaction fee. The prices online are very much different then on the wall today; I would suggest the owner take down the online menu until it is updated. Regarding the star rating, the food is okay for the area but not worth the price being charged. Therefore 2-stars rating. The service has always been average. The build is located in a stipe plaza near Winn-Dixie and ACE hardware, with around seven, 2 to 4 seat tables. read more

Disappointed I been coming to this bagel shop for years. I alway get the jersey turnpike it's pork tool and cheese. The pork roll was alway cut thick and piled high. Today I got one it was four paper thin slices of pork roll barely enough to see. Not going back cost 18.00 for two sandwiches and two sodas. Not worth it. read more

Stopped by the South Cape location recently with my daughter. You can tell it's a family owned restaurant because the staff seems to actually care about their patrons. Not much to look at on the inside but it has the same familiar feel of a bagel shop in New York City or New Jersey. They have a sandwich called The Jersey Turnpike which features pork roll. This seems to be their signature dish. I opted for an asiago cheese bagel toasted with cream cheese and Boar's Head pastrami and my daughter had a sausage egg and cheese bagel. My bagel wasn't as fresh as my daughters but that wont keep me from going back again and again. I love to support local mom-and-pop shops. read more

WORST BREAKFAST EVER!!!! I've been several times to the other location and it's great. My wife and I were near this one and decided to go. A complete disaster. If you like scrambled eggs cooked without butter browned on a griddle, you will love this place. If you like undercooked half-raw potatoes, you will love this place. Throw in some hard reheated bacon and it's the perfect breakfast. However, the bagels were fine. But if you want a bialy, they only make them on weekends. Oh wait, did you want to dine-in and eat at their tables. You can, but they will still give you your food in a styrofoam container in a paper bag with plastic utensils...... Just horrible. read more

As a former long islander, living in PA, and visiting in Cape Coral, I was beyond ecstatic to find egg everything bagel sandwiches and Italian rainbow cookies, and lots of NY accents and memorabilia. Food was awesome. My sister now lives in Cape Coral and has found her new bagel store. Egg everything's are hard to find in Fla apparently. read more

This place is delicious! We were in Cape Coral on vacation and came here THREE times in a week. We all loved it, two adults, a 14 year old and a 1 year old. The bagels are amazing, the breakfast sandwiches were to die for, the muffins are so good- we had cranberry orange and chocolate. Do yourself a favor.... go here and get a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Best choice you'll make all day! I also love that they have fresh orange juice. The atmosphere is fun and very New York. This place is at the top of our list when we come back to Cape Coral. As you can see from my picture, my daughter LOVED this place. Ok let me start off by saying I'm from Long Island and super critical of bagels. The bagels are really good. Up until today I would have given more stars. I got an everything bagel toasted with butter. You'll see in the picture I attach there is barely any butter on only one side of the bagel. But that's forgivable WHAT ISN'T is I watched the cook making a Bacon, egg and cheese (which are also excellent) for another customer and with the same spatula he was using to flip the eggs and make the sandwich he scraped the crud out of the trap in front of the griddle (the black oily sludge they scrape OFF the flat top), throw the crud in the trash and then WITHOUT WIPING OR CLEANING IT proceed to put the sandwich together using it! That's disgusting!!! Updated: went back and they are using a proper scraper for the grill now which I would have upped the stars for but then there was this kid making the bagels to order bad mouthing and rolling his eyes at the older patrons even after a woman behind the counter reprimanded him for how he was delivering things. I had lunch here today. I had them stuff a poppy seed bagel with fresh turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It was excellent!!! The bagel was fresh and tasty, the turkey and cheese were top quality, the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the tomato was fresh and tasty as well!!! Not the hot house type, but the "fresh from the farm" type. The sandwich was fantastic and if I'm ever down in this direction for lunch again, I'll be sure to stop in and Stuff A(nother) Bagel. Pretty good NY/NJ style bagels. Service is great. We've had their onion, egg, everything, sesame and plain. They're pretty good for this part of Florida where it's pretty impossible to find a good bagel. They have the different cream cheeses too. As a newly displaced Yankee from a big city, one of my chief concerns before coming here (having had some pretty sorry excuses for bagels in other parts of the country) was finding places with good breads, pizza doughs and of course bagels. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place, not too far from my home. On Sunday morning, I dragged myself out of bed and went off to try this place. Walked in, saw the counter full of baskets of different varieties and knew that things were going to be okay. One of my tests is to see how the pumpernickles are. This place passed with flying colors. As I sat there eating my pumpernickle with lox and cream cheese, I was amused by some of the other patrons. There were a couple of guys who were straight off the Brooklyn boat. This made me feel at home. Having now been there a few times and seen the same guy there each time and even once seeing him go behind the counter I think he must be the owner. I didn't need to see him to know that these are good bagels but it didn't hurt. read more

Feels like home except cleaner. A nice delicious way to get homemade new york style bagels without having to deal with the grime and crowds of actually being in new york. Their bagels are great and I love their rainbow cookies. Their cream cheese is really good and they give you a really good portion. Its affordable too! I arrived at the shop at 3pm. The gentlemen outside said they closed at 2. I was disappointed. As I walked away he called out & said they still had bagels. So he made me a bagel with lox & cream cheese. Not only did he open the shop but my bagel was on him. I asked are you from Long Island & he said yes. So am I. Anyway I'd like to thank this man. Great Customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately I am returning to my po-dunk town in Etowah, TN. NO BAGELS THERE. The place is dingy inside. I couldn't tell what was what with the bagels as they were not labeled. Guess your best. So I asked for an onion. No, out of them which wasn't a problem. So instead of getting frustrated trying to figure out what WAS in the case I asked if they had any with cheese. Asiago. If I wasn't told it was asiago I would never have known. No flavor of asiago what so ever. The cream cheese was also lacking that tang. Maybe I'm just picky coming from the northeast where a bagel is amazing. I've come to expect perfection but Im still looking. This bagel didn't have any flavor. Went today to pick up a dozen and the front person wasn't wearing a mask. The kitchen person had his mask hanging off one ear. I have an immune system disorder, so I have to be careful (doctor's orders). But I thought, "Okay, it's not like she's breathing on the bagels, and I can keep my distance." Then, she had to reach for something, and with the new bagel case her mouth and nose were about 2-3 inches from the bagels. I looked around and saw no customers wearing masks either. Just tried a half dozen bagels from Stuff a Bagel, plain and poppy seed variety and was transported back to my Long Island, NY roots of bagel heaven. The bagels were soft and chewy with just the right texture. The flavor was outstanding. I will definitely be back for more of their delicious bagels and will go outside of my comfort zone and try their cream cheeses and other baked goodies. Keep up the good work, Stuff a Bagel.
