Welp... a month and a half living in SWFL and I already found NY style bagels. Coming from Long Island, I was really expecting to have to hunt down a good pizza and bagel place for a LONG time and even still expected to maybe not find anything. Found my pizza spot, Downtown House of Pizza, and now found my bagels spot! I wouldn't say this was the best bagel I've had but it's damn sure close to what I've eaten my whole life! Ordered delivery through Uber Eats and everything came packaged well. Bagel was not too dense like others have noted. The egg everything was soft and delicious. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Crisp bacon, not soggy and undercooked like other places I've been to. The breakfast potatoes were absolutely delicious. Not over seasoned and not soggy. Perfect size side. I've been going to Stuff A Bagel for 18 + years and the bagels are the best we have in the area. Recently, I visited one morning for a ham/egg/cheese bagel (no drink) and was charged a little more than $8; I believe ~8.50 out the door. Unless the recipe has changed this is a single egg, one thinly sliced piece of ham and single piece of cheese. I know the costs of food are going up; however, the sandwich really doesn't justify the cost of it. Cape Coral is not really a destination paradise; however, for the sandwich I received I feel I'm being changed what I would pay in an airport, at a vacation island area or maybe Disney World. So, why I'm I writing this review about a place that I obviously like? With my family of 4, all getting the same thing it would cost ~$35 with tax and paying with a credit card. Tip can always be added to the end of the transaction. The prices online are very much different then in store; I would suggest the owner take down the online menu until it is updated. Regarding the star rating, the food is okay for the area but not worth the price being charged. Therefore a 2-stars rating. The service has always been average. The build is located in a strip plaza near Winn-Dixie and ACE hardware, with around seven, 2 to 4 seat tables. read more

They were good before the pandemic but not now. They do not have any raisins in their cinnamon raisin bagels and they are merely warmed up when you ask for toasted. I need to move on after 6-7 visits. So sad because they used to be good. read more

The service is terrible. Went to get a bagel and had some equipment on me for self defense. shortly to be greeted by an employee of Stuff-A-Bagel with a firearm he showed off to me in his rear pants waistband, then proceeded to flex that he has self defense and I do not. Employees are improperly carrying firearms on property and are not licensed to carry and using them in a threatening manner.. This will be taken further as needed. Might I also add he tried to fight me inside and outside of the store and his manager had to tell him to stay inside. Dangerous place, and is why I will maintain carrying my self defense equipment. read more

My very first time here. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well after a long travel consisting of 3 flights that spanned 24 hours. My first stop as soon as arriving in Cape Coral. Will definitely not be my last time coming here during my 18- day holiday. Staff is very friendly. Very very pleasant. I had asked a gentleman for hot water (I think he might be the owner or maybe manager :) Needless to say he was very kind and gave me a cup of hot water and he was very concerned and kept reminding me to be very careful. The bagel I had as simple as it may be (bagel with cream cheese) was very delicious. The cream cheese was on the heavy side for me, which I know is perfect for most people. But I didn't mind- just scraped some of it off. I didn't want to further upset my already queasy stomach from airport food. Once I'm over this bug I'm going through, I'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu. Other positive notes: Bathroom is clean. It's a big plus in my books! The only NY bagel spot in all of Cape Coral had me intrigued and I had to come check it out. My other half opted for the Jersey Turnpike (he's from Jersey) and I ordered a Frank The Tank which was a loaded version of his. The girls behind the counter were so helpful and friendly. We even chatted about the Blood Orange juice while my breakfast was being made. You definitely have to get the Everything Egg bagel which is such an upgrade from the already Everything bagel. It was so good, I took an extra bagel with me for the road. I can tell a good cream cheese when I taste one and this place serves really high end stuff. It's not pretentious in any way but serves one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time. They also offer some freshly baked danishes with a hefty topping of fruits and cheese. I saw some local honey & I really love Natalie's Fresh Juice which they carry almost every flavor of. I left with a huge smile on my face because the food was amazing and the staff was extremely kind and patient. I support businesses like this everyday and any day. read more

I legit needed a bagel in the worst way on the way to the airport yesterday and this place did not disappoint. Ordered the pumpernickel bread toasted with lox cream cheese spread. It was delightful and filling. As others of mentioned the bagels are rather on the large side and really packed with flavor. I am not a fan of slabs of fish so having it mixed in the spread was perfect for me. I paired it with a diet coke and had a pleasant breakfast on the way to the air port. They don't toast your bagel unless it's by request?? What kind of bagel place is this? Who in the world wants an untoasted bagel? Only a tiny hand written sign by the check out (once you've already ordered) states this. Also, they don't require masks and hardly any customers were wearing them. I saw multiple people go up to the door, see nobody was wearing masks, and turn back around. I regret going here. Went in at 8:30 am and got a dozen bagels. Every one of them was hard as a rock. It literally hurt my shoulder to cut them. Lightly toasted they were still super hard. Total waste of time. Had to throw them out. $22 down the drain. Complained but have not heard back. Go elsewhere. read more

Great NY style bagel shop, with Taylor ham and egg sandwiches. We get bagels from here every week. The crumb cake used to be very good with big crumbs, but recently this has been below their previous quality. Crumbs almost nonexistent. The upfront counter girls are very efficient and friendly, but I've noticed that they wear a glove to pick up the bagels etc and then use the cash register and handle money wearing this same glove . NOT very sanitary. We hope this is improved. read more

We got in at around 2pm, and it l hadn't bothered to check the hours of operation. Real bad on my part, but somehow they took our order anyway and never mentioned that 2pm is when they close. As expected the bagels were slim pickins, so I got my 14 for $10 and a Jersey Turnpike breakfast sammich. As for the staff, I heard banter about the brother, and one called the older gentleman "Dad", or so I assume. So definitely a family-owned and operated business. Bonus points for that! I will admit, they are disorganised. The Dad-figure might want to delegate more responsibilities to the youngins so he won't have so much on his hands. I did hear the grill cook loudly express his displeasure at having to clean the grill every time someone comes in. As a fellow grill cook, them's the breaks, buddy. You gotta keep the grill clean. As for the shop itself, it certainly earned my revisit. I do have to point out there is a rather awkward display right in the middle of the main walkway, right in front of the counter. I'm sure intentions were good for the impulse buyer, but it is strange to find the end of a line, or side-step to the deli counter. That aside, it was like walking through the door back home to New Jersey. New York memorabilia adorn the walls. Of course, you gotta have Yankee embellishments as well, I did notice! Now the sandwich I got was the real seal of the deal. The Jersey Turnpike was my childhood breakfast exactly. Porkroll, egg, and American cheese on one of their bagels. I do thank the digruntled grill cook for a job well done. The porkroll was perfectly crispy on the edges, the egg was NOT over cooked (thank goodness!) and seasoned perfectly. With the cheese melted nicely, and the bagel nice and chewy, it was just like I remember a porkroll, egg, and cheese to be. I have not tried their coffee, but I wouldn't mind in my next visit along with a tempting danish to go with it. :) read more

I've been coming here for a very long time. Specifically this location in downtown Cape Coral. I recently moved to Tennessee and honestly the saddest part about leaving Florida was leaving behind stuff a bagel. They are so friendly every time I came in and even remembered my order. They actually care about their customers and get on a personal level with you and I absolutely love that about this restaurant. I talked to the owner and some of the girls there about maybe shipping something up to me in tennessee since we don't have any good bagel places there and they're going to look into it for me. That means a lot, definitely shows how much they care about their customers. The food is amazing. I compare any chicken salad I have from now on, to theirs and nothing comes close. I definitely recommend coming here, not only is the staff so friendly but the food is great . read more
