The food was good. The service was awesome. I wish the potstickers were homemade not the typical frozen ones you can buy anywhere.

Had to change my review. My first review was for the previous owners. I have tried Su Wings twice since changing owners and the food has been subpar both times. I hate to say it. I really want to love it. The staff is very nice. read more

What a jewel. Clean, convenient Chinese cuisine. Outstanding crab Rangoon. Small and crispy all the way through. Five stars for the value. Get the most for your money with the preset meals for four, five, or more people. Huge amount of great food for the price. Everything we had met or exceeded expectations. This is heavy, small town, Midwest Chinese food. And I think we had enough to feed eight people. Service was quick and friendly. Food well prepared. we are regulars who have been coming for over 50 years and recently since they reopened, they have not been as good as they once where I feel people should go to Kelley's restaurant in lake Como for better Chinese food. the experience is better there, and they have better overall service. read more

So first of all, they were super busy. The phone rang off the hook. We were dining in and were willing to wait through it. The thing that jumped out at me is how very clean the place was. Everything was shiny and there was not a speck of dust anywhere. We were finally seated and got our menus. We decided to forego the saki but got the Po Po Platter. Good choice. Everything was delicious. Hubby had the wonton soup and I had the egg drop and we were both pleased. Entrees were Chicken Chow Mein and Four Seasons. Both were good. Portions were not exceptionally large but we still had leftovers. Price was reasonable and the service was good enough considering how busy they were. We'll be back. read more

We were in Lake Geneva hoping to get into the ice castles with standby tickets, but they were sold out so we walked around and enjoyed winter fest instead. We wanted to ear somewhere off the strip as it was pretty crowded. Our daughter loves pasta so we thought we'd go to Tuscan, but the wait was over an hour. At the end of the block we saw Su-Wing so we kept walking. We were a little skeptical since it was empty, but we went with it. Our server was so nice and the restaurant quickly filled up. Don't let the 3 stars deter you. We were very happy with our choice. Next time we're in the area we will be sure to stop again or order food to go especially the egg rolls. If you're around definitely stop in!! We started with egg drop soup. It was warm and delicious. I did add some salt and pepper to it. The we had egg rolls. Holy cow!! They were out of this woRld. They were so delicious. The peanut butter really adds a nice flavor. We then had Szechwan veggies with very little spice as we had a 2.5 year old sharing. This was so good. It had a slightly sweet and hint of spice. I wasn't expecting the peanuts but there were good. We also had beef fried rice it was very delicious. Our favorite was the veggie lo mein. New owners, not sure when, but I was not here for a while since way before Covid. Menu has changed, the wifi doesn't work and service staff are new to me and the cook is definitely new too. They are friendly but didn't fix the "smelly washrooms". Food is mediocre at best. The egg rolls are not bad, but the old chef made them better. The beef chow fun with is my favorite was tasteful, but too greasy. My husband tried their special of the day, Sesame Tofu but I wasn't a fan of it. I doubt I will come back again. read more

I found this place on Friday. I have seen it in passing for years. Friday we decided to give it a try. The location is amazing. If you sit in the dining room you have an unobstructed view of the street going down all the way to Main Street. We were a bit reluctant at first to enter. The parking lot was empty and so was the restaurant once we entered. The ceiling had water stains (possibly-extremely likely) from previous water damage. We stayed. I can't explain why, other than we were really hungry. We sat by the window and were given menus. I excused myself to use the restroom. The restroom hasn't been updated in decades and had water on the floor and smelled moldy. Still we stayed. We ordered plum wine and a New Glarus (Spotted Cow) beer. My first Spotted Cow. My new go to beer when in Lake Geneva. We ordered the chicken egg rolls. Aside from the spicy mustard and sweet and sour sauce they were mushy and bland. Next we ordered two soups. I had the hot and sour. Neither hot nor sour, only bland. My wife had the egg drop soup. Gross and a bit slimy. She had the chicken fried rice and I had the pineapple chicken. The chicken in her fried rice dish was rubbery and tasteless. My pineapple chicken was sweet and crispy but definitely heated up frozen from a bag. The bill was extremely reasonable around 40 dollars. Honestly, even that was too high a price for the food we were served. Sadly, this is our first and last visit to this establishment. read more

I'm so disappointed after purchasing dinner from Su Wings. I looked past a few negative reviews to try it for myself. This is a never again order from for me. The moo shoo pork was tasteless. The chicken in the pineapple chicken was stringy. The egg rolls, which are hyped to be the best, were not close to good. They were soggy and tasted old. Maybe I went at a lull time of the day when food sits for longer than usual, but I won't be back. The only good thing was they gave a drive through window. This convenience is nice, but doesn't diminish the low quality food. A waste of my hard earned money. read more

My family and I have been coming here the past few years. Their head chef , and their waiting staff are always very kind. The owner is also a very kind old man. Food is always delicious and worth the price. Good portions and hot (temperature) Family friendly environment. They also have amazing buffets for lunch! Can't go wrong. Good Chinese food outside of any Chinatown and especially in a touristy town! ( I grew up in Chicago Chinatown). We got a variety of old fashion dishes. Food was good price and plentiful. Good service too! Only con was $2 charge for hot tea per person. read more

ZERO stars!! I'm so p*ssed I spent $60 on the worst food I've ever had...EVER. I grew up in a house where you ate whatever was put in front of you so I'm truly not a picky eater. That being said I'd rather eat dog sh*t! Egg drop soup was dirty laundry water, Mongolian beef had no flavor and the more you chewed the harder it got to swallow, general Tao chicken looked ok but was actual chunks of mush, the lo mein was fkn SPAGHETTI WTF, beef fried rice was gray?!, crab rangoons were barely edible. The second best part of the meal was the generic soy sauce packets and the first was when we threw it in the trash. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GRAB SOMEONES DOGSH*T! Haven't been here for a few years. Apparently new owners now? Anyway, got the egg rolls which are delicious, and the BBQ pork for appetizers. Hot tea served in a carafe so you don't have to constantly flag down your server was a nice touch. As always, the chicken chop suey was a winner, as was the Mongolian beef. Pork fried rice could have been slightly more "porky," but it was still good. Was a delicious meal. Won't wait several years to return. Wondering how good the Sunday Buffet is. Dinner tonight was strange. Ordered beef fat chow with a "fried egg" for a five-year-old and two waiters later gave an uncomfortable answer of NO ! They came back without a reason for our request... Egg fu yung to get eggs ordered, fine. But NO fried eggs. Period...So either they ONLY serve powdered eggs from Sysco or their aging chef is deaf to a child's needs. As a die hard fan for over 30 years, I cannot recommend a better place for dine in Chinese. Dishes are always cooked perfect (my fave is sesame chicken with combo fried rice) and with a smile. If Chinese isn't your thing, rest easy that they also have a decent and delicious selection of American fare. Drinks are poured heavy. read more

I tried Su-Wing for the first time this summer and I'm hooked! Since my first visit I've tried several items and have enjoyed all of my entrées. The bbq fried rice and egg rolls are very good too! I really like their chicken kow. Since I primarily do drive through, I find it real easy and convenient to use their drive thru window. I prefer the food over Moys personally. Me and my fiancee (coming from Norway to visit me) wanted and craved Chinese food while we are having our summer weekend of vacation and I'm from Illinois. We've looked up this place on Google last night. We were excited because we really wanted Chinese! After we got our food within 2 mins of ordering, I was shocked on how fast the food was made! However, what blows my mind was that the food didnt have enough broth and needed more flavor. I've had better Chinese food than what they have. The food got chilled after 5 minutes of getting our food. The service was pretty awful afterwards. The owner spoke to everyone who dined besides us. And they gave us the check very fast when I barely started eating my dinner and the restaurant was not even crowded. It was that feeling where they wanted us out of there that fast for no reason. So, they didn't deserve a huge tip. I told my finacee to just give them a $3 tip instead of a minmum of $6. Although, I demanded to him that they deserve a $0 tip. Never will I come here again because of the way we were treated. Please get a top Chef or something! We got the Shrimp and Beef Chop Suey! read more

I was nervous about coming here but don't let the stars deter you! The food is really good!! I had the chicken cashew and veggie fried rice - both were so flavourful. My husband had the curry chicken and chicken fried rice - he doesn't like onions but he loved everything in both. The crab rangoon was a nice balance and not crazy on the cream cheese. Overall for the modest price, this has been a great experience and I highly recommend coming here. We'll be back! read more

I may have been more happy with this restaurant if I was a meat-eater, but even that is doubtful. None of the soups or appetizers were vegetarian, and the rest of the menu offered slim pickings. What we did order (non-descript veggies with white sauce and noodles, and non-descript veggies with "spicy" red sauce and rice) was edible, but that's about it. Their sake was not so good either. Our waitress was friendly and tried to help us find something agreeable on the menu. Without her, this review would be a one star. The restaurant itself was kind of sad-looking. We were seated at a table that was separated from the others by what looked like a partition for office cubicles. Like the old school Chinese restaurant in The Christmas Story! Plenty of tasty dishes and the portions are huge. Don't expect any of the newer fashionable Chinese cuisine you find in Chicago or New York.....just good old fashion egg rolls, short ribs and beef and broccoli. Considering we are in Lake Geneva, this Chinese joint suprised us. The meal started off poorly with a very strange rendition of Hot and Sour soup that did not grow on me. Next came the egg rolls, which were clearly home made, and extremely delicious. I could have eaten three of them for dinner, although there were a bit on the greasy side. The fried rice was very good and had nice char marks on it from an apparently very hot wok. It was not the typical soy-sauce laden kind you usually get, it was more like the japanese steak house variety. The Moo Shu chicken was very good--and tasted fairly typical of past restaurants. I would definitely return to this place if I am again in the mood for Chinese in Lake Geneva. read more

Awful. Simply awful. I eat a lot of chinese. From authentic to takeout. I try not to judge Chinese places out if their league. For example, I don't judge takeout places against authentic dim sum places. This goes in the takeout category, although it was sit down. Ordered the hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon. Pot stickers, and garlic chicken. Also asked for chili oil. The hot and sour soup was unrecognizable. I've had hot and sour across the country and overseas. There are some standard characteristcs, and this didn't have them. It wasn't even good soup if you called it something else. The crab Rangoon was more dough than cheese and the pot stickers would better be classified as cabbage stickers. The garlic chicken was actually ok, but by the time it got there, the entire experience was ruined. As an aside. I'm a chili oil offienado, and theirs was awful. It actually tasted as if the watered the oil down. I do not recommend this place. It's bad, even on the cheap takeout scale. read more
