Like everyone in St. Louis, we love Polite Society and The Bellwether, so we were really excited to try the sandwiches from Sub Division, which is owned by the same people. I haven't tried everything on the new menu yet, but we did order several different sandwiches. As expected, they were all freaking delicious! "The Dude Abides" is their spicy meatball sub. (All of their sandwiches are named after famous movie quotes.) Now, I have been known to enjoy a good meatball sub, and I've had my fair share of meatball subs over the years. Ok, ok... in all honesty, I've probably had a lot of people's shares of meatball subs. But this was a damn fine meatball sub! One for the record books. If you're a meatball sub person, you won't be disappointed. "What's The Matter Col. Sanders, Chicken?" is their take on a buffalo chicken sandwich. It really was finger lickin' good (I was licking that buffalo sauce and blue cheese off of my fingers). "My Precious" is a sandwich to wage a war over. 18-hour sous vide pork steak on a sandwich. Brilliant! That's one thick slab of pork, but it's so tender at the same time. And the slaw is the perfect compliment. Overall, the portions were generous (and I have a big appetite), the ingredients were top notch, and everything we tried was just fantastic. A wonderful bit of November comfort on a hot August afternoon. The "karate in the garage" a hot ham and pimento cheese sandwich that feels like a new best friend. Fantastic (and very large) sandwiches with some unique flavors. I have tried The Dude Abides, What's The Matter Col. Sanders, Chicken? (my favorite by far), Any Glen Will Do and Never Tell Me The Odds. All really fantastic! Quick bit of feedback related to packaging for The Dude Abides. I opened the aluminum foil around the sandwich and lost about 3/4 of the cheese to the foil. It was completely stuck on it and it was hard to get it back to the sandwich. Maybe consider a wax paper or something else in between to keep it from sticking? read more

Absolutely wonderful! I had the "No Place Like Home" sandwich, with confit turkey, gravy, and cranberry on baguette. I could not have been happier with it, however, I did not like the house made pickle that I bought separately, hence the 4/5. I know it's petty, but I love crisp, sour pickle. Theirs is soft, and overly sweet, like a bread and butter pickle. Other than that, I highly recommend! Try the pasta salad as well. read more

Let me preface my review that I am a sandwich connessieur, actually a sandwich snob. I'm picky. That said, the Sub Division was excellent. I'm not going to put it in the elite category, with only 2 other StL sandwich spots, but it's in the next tier of outstanding sandwiches. Perhaps a bit more creativity and selection would help. They are pricey, but very large, so I think the value is fine. My wife and I tried 3 different sandwiches, all were quality. 1 sandwich wasn't as hot as I'd hoped, but perhaps it cooled off more than I expected since I waited a moment while our friend's meals were still coming from other Foundry spots. (1 friend had total dish-envy of my sandwiches). read more

Went to the Foundry location today. Ordered the first sandwich on the menu- can't remember the name, was supposed to be seared chicken, bacon, cheese, tomato, ranch and arugula. I got a cold sandwich. The bread was dripping with grease, the chicken was chicken salad served cold instead of seared chicken, cold bacon, unmelted slice of cheese, no tomato or arugula, there was red onion though? it was $14 before tax, and just absolutely disgusting lol. Could not recommend less. Seriously, freakin subway kills this place for half the price. read more

Lafayette Square is lucky to have this spot! We've ordered takeout several times and loved everything. It is one of the spots where you want to reorder the same sandwich as before but hating yourself for not trying one of the other options. Portions are huge so you will definitely have leftovers. One good sandwich, one bad sandwich, and the worst customer service. They will text you when your order is ready, I got my text and it wasn't ready. I waited figuring it must be close, after five minutes or so of awkwardly standing there I went and sat down. They didn't say a word or respond when I asked if I should wait or sit. No follow up text to let me know the sandwiches were really done. My sandwich was good, my daughter's was all wrong. When she wasn't eating I realized they messed up her order and I brought it back to them and they more than 1 told me they were closed and cleaning up. No more interest in dealing with me, they just went about their business like I wasn't there. I asked again what could be done. I got no response. I realized I wasn't going to get help from this group and shared my sandwich with my daughter. There are so many places to eat in the Foundry, avoid this one. read more

Wonderful sandwiches that are a nice upgrade from standard sandwich fare. Both sandwiches were ready within 15 minutes. We got the inconceivable and a pork BarBQue. I recommend them both. Sandwiches were very large with fresh ingredients. Pick up was great. I made some special requests ( little sauce) and that was done well. Based on a friend's recommendation, I tried the "My Precious" (a pork steak sandwich modified with no bun and a spinach wrap side instead). A simple yet delicious meal of melt-in-your-mouth pork steak slathered in sauce over a bed of coleslaw. Delicious!
