That right there is a huge plus. and I talked to so many Subaru dealerships when I started doing research on Subaru Outbacks. There are no other dealerships in Los Angeles that do that. And the next step is locking a good deal and the purchasing process. My Sales Consultant was Tamaz Gasimyan. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with him. I had to place a factory order. He made everything clear during that process and kept me informed on the car's arrival date. and when the car arrived, he prepared most of the paperwork before I go to the dealership. also, Tamaz explained every new feature of the car, showed me, and did a little demonstration of some of the features. He took care of me even after the purchase. Always there if I have a question. I don't write a lot of reviews on yelp but when I do, It must be something exceptionally good or bad. Could not find parking part about three blocks away when we got to the dealership the car we wanted was not at the dealership it was in an outside lot. Test drove a similar vehicle got back to the dealership stated the deal that I wanted. They made us wait for about 35 to 40 minutes to tell us that they couldn't make the deal the dealership offers a Visa gift card for test drives she stated that I needed to show a piece of paper. Didn't want to give the offered Visa gift card, the dealership made us feel like they didn't want to make a deal and they didn't want our business. I would never go to that dealership and suggest nobody give them business cause they're not very friendly. read more

Brought my Forester for its 12-month service. The paperwork says my tires were checked, rotated, and inflated to 34psi. Six days later, I get alerts in my car. One of the tires are above 29psi.So they clearly didn't inflate the tires, even though the paperwork says they did. What else didn't they do? Did they rotate the tires? I went in about 3 times since I had just bought my Subara Forester. The 3rd time was an oil change which seemed to go decently. However, I got that feeling it's all about pushing you to buy more, do more, as a practice. It was in the winter of this year and right after they serviced it, I was driving home in the rain, at night, and my windows were so fogged up, I could see nothing! It wasn't condensation because no wiping with anything changed it at all. In fact, it turned into a smeary, cloudy mess with arcing rainbows when other car's headlights went through it. It was so awful, I pulled over on the side of the road twice and wiped it over and over to try to get some visiblity. After I got home and thought about it, I realized it had something to do with the service I just got at Subaru Sherman Oaks. It turned out, without my permission or knowledge, they waxed the inside and outside of my windows. It took me 3 days and hours of trying all different products to get it off. I had to use steaming hot water and Goo-gone to finally get rid of most of it. And, while doing this, I ended up scratching the windshield in one area. I made sure they refunded me, however, the service person I worked with acted like a 5-year old and I had to step it up to Subaru Corporate who was actually rather lame. Don't go here for any service on your car unless it's warranty related. Even then not this dealership! read more

After being treated horribly at a competitor's dealership, my spirits were low, and I wanted to give up on my hunt for a new car. Approximately a week and half ago I placed an internet inquiry to Subaru Sherman Oaks re: purchase of a new 2025 Outback. The same internet sales person I purchased a 2024 Outback from last year reached out and we corresponded back and forth. When he followed up a few days later, in response to his query on pricing, i noted i was paying cash like last year and hoped for the same pricing. After my reply, I received NOT ONE return communication to multiple follow ups. A friend offered to call the sales person immediately after my last attempt and had him on the phone immediately! Sadly, this was in all likelihood a retaliation to a separate incident which escalated with my hiring a lemon law attorney to effect buyback or replacement of the defective 2024 Outback. Because of the dealer's 'behavior' during attempts to remedy the problems with car, it necessitated the hiring of a lemon law attorney. I posted an unfavorable review to warn of my (then) experience. Subaru Corporate recently approved settlement of the 2024 Outback's lemon law case. I wanted to give dealership a chance to SELL its replacement, hence the internet inquiry. In the words of my counsel - 'typically a dealership wants a chance to make things right and the customer happy and satisfied'. Apparently, Not Subaru Sherman Oaks! Both my counsel and I were shocked at dealer behavior. The purpose of YELP reviews is 'to give customers a forum in which they get to discuss experiences they have had with various businesses as well as goods and services they have purchased and used'. But I can tell you I would use the Subaru dealership here in Sherman Oaks because of my salesman Gary. I bought two Subarus from him years ago and was in the market for a third in early 2024. We tried to make a deal happen but because of logistics on my end, I needed a work truck from another auto maker, and not a Subaru. Love my 2020 Sibaru Forester purchased from Subaru Sherman Oaks but there is little routine maintenance done to the car but an oil and filter change in excess of 120 dollars. They do not rotate my Tires, after Lithia Reno Subaru, ruined my original Tires and ignore or avoid services that will extend the life of the car. But they'll do their best to sell you Services, at extra cost that ate not necessary. Subaru of Reno and Sherman Oaks are the only companies that have worked on my car, both with Sub Par Service at outrageous prices. I drivre my 2020 Forester which I really Love, all over Califirnia and Nevada and can't risk a break down along the way but their shoddy, incomplete and expensive Service puts me and my Family at Risk. Awful customer service. Just awful. We called a week in advance and scheduled a time to come in and test drive a car. They told us they have the exact car we're looking for on the lot. We were super excited and finally showed up and they told us they don't have that car on the lot. If we want to drive it they will have to go and get it from a storage and it will take 30-40 minutes. The whole point of us scheduling this test drive is we don't have all day to just sit around. So now my girlfriend has to leave and doesn't get drive the car and they won't let you drive the car home for a day, you have to ride around with the employee in the car telling you where to turn. Not fun. The worst part of all of this is the way the employee, Pete, reacted to all of this. Instead of accepting responsibility for the mistake they made he got defensive and started blaming other people and coming up with excuses. It grossed us out. Later I tried to go on their website to look into how to rent a subaru and the link didn't work. So I call them and four times they transfer me to the "rental department" and four times it goes to voicemail without anyone picking up. I told them this was happening but they kept doing it anyways. Just a gross feeling overall and a big time disappointment after dealing with these people. I can't imagine what it must be like to actually purchase a vehicle. Luckily we will never know. read more

They said they would follow up. Jorge did not respond to our calls and the manager of the service department has been dodging our calls and transferring us to voicemails. After sending the text inquiring about our STOLEN CAR PART we got absolute silence for three days!!!! We have been trying to get ahold of someone! UPDATE-- called customer service thanks to the review below and the representative filed a case and assigned an agent to it. They stated they would assist us in obtaining a new card.
