She updated us on when food was coming, was not confused about any orders, even if they were off the beaten path, and she boxed up the food, and ran our card when we had to leave, in such an efficient manner. Even though I could see she was busy with other, larger tables. And she reminded me since my items were raw, I should refrigerate them asap. That was so sweet, she didn't have to care what happened after we left lol and I know people want to hear about food in a review, but great service makes such a difference! The thing about the ambiance, everyone was there celebrating, and happy, it made it such a happy dinner. There were birthdays, and friends sharing plates, family style. It was just heart warming. Now food and drinks: I ordered a lychee martini, not on the menu, and then another martini, both were perfectly balanced. We had the infamous bread and honey appetizer, which was phenomenal! The meatballs. Which, my only qualm was, I wish they brought a cheese grater, but that's me, I love too much cheese lol I had the carpaccio, which was amazingly balanced. I loved the quality of the meat, the sauce, and arugula. I also had the salmon crudo, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. I liked the sauce, but it was a little fishy and cut thick, so chewy, and personally, I'm not a big fan of pickles. I would have liked pickled cucumbers, more. My friend had the katsu, which was a little spicy. So pay attention when the menu has a jalepeno next to it! lol All in all, it was a great experience! My only warning is that menu items change, so don't go in set on something specific. Because I really wanted the lamb. but again, I left very happy!

We were seated outside, totally fine with us as it was well shaded. Definitely dog friendly, there was a handful of dogs outside and the servers made sure to ask the owners if they needed water - love that! The food came out so quick too! I usually like to wait to have all food on the table to take a photo and I'm so glad it did not take long for all the dishes to come out. Service was also very nice and attentive. This is what we ordered & TRUST me, I wanted to try everything but decided on these: Egg Coffee Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Crispy Calamari Curry Crab Omelet Garlic Noodles w/ Shrimp Beef Belly Rice Bowl The Crispy Calamari - TOP 5, best calamari I've ever had. Light, yet crispy. Calamari tasted fresh and the Flavor is BOLD, I can't even describe the spices. It just tasted amazing. Personally my favorite out of everything we ordered. Curry Crab Omelet - Really good, comes out sizzling hot and everything was cooked to perfection. Crab tasted really fresh. I loved the amount of spice and the sticky rice it came with? Perfect. Great for soaking up the flavorful juices. The drinks were also delish. I finished my Mango Sticky Rice Matcha quickly. I would love to try the other drinks. They all look yummy. Garlic Noodles - loved how thick the noodles were, perhaps next time I will skip on these just to save room and try other items. It was good though. Beef Belly Rice Bowl - BF got this and enjoyed it as well. No scraps were left behind.

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

Not sure if it was just that night or if it's how their rice is always cooked, but the rice was on the drier side so I had pour soup on my rice or else it was too dry. Service was okay. I would give them another try. Maybe for their noodle soup dishes.

Know where you're aiming to go. - There is a sister restaurant named Mono Yama two doors down ...cue to me walking in between aimlessly because my friend recommended the place and all i recalled was "momo". That said, the people were super nice in both places. You can tell it happens often. We went right as it opened, and we got seated right away. The menu is via a QRC on the table. We ordered 3 things - vongole pasta. Previously they offered it uni but this one had claims and shrimp. We also got the pesto and the calamari. Calamari was crispy but it also was slightly too salty and seemed to be a lot of batter. The calamari pieces were small. The pesto pasta was okay, but the pesto wasn't the traditional pesto. I couldn't put my finger on it but it must've been the dashi. The udon was cooked well though. Soft, definitely not al dente. This vongole was the biggest miss. It had a taste that we also couldn't figure out, but it was not enjoyable to eat. We left the meal very dissatisfied. The friend I went with, who has gone before, also agreed it was disappointing. As someone who hates to waste food, we were very close to leaving nearly half of each dish there. My friend ended up taking it back. Later that evening, we both were feeling off. Idk, perhaps it was a coincidence. In the end, it was a truly sad experience.
