One of our favorite places!! My husband likes the red sauce with mixed glass noodle and egg noodle. The pickled garlic is sooo good. The owner is always so sweet. Restaurant is pretty spacious.

This is located in the corner of a plaza and it is away from all the touristy/crowds of the weekend. I ordered the Bo Kho with noodles and it's was very good! Not too salty and very flavorful. I would highly recommend it! I have also tried their traditional hu thieu which is also very good especially if you are looking for something with clear broth. They also have pickled garlic and jalepeno which is a great addition! I don't think you can go wrong with any dish here. Note- there is a 4% additional charge if you use credit card so bring cash if you want to avoid that charge! 10/10 would recommend and come back again.

The banh canh was tasty but leaned a little sweeter than I usually prefer. The hủ tiếu my tho had a strong tomato-forward flavor -- great if you're into that profile, but it might be overwhelming if not. The banh beo and cha hue was solid overall, fresh and satisfying. Service was friendly and the ambiance and music had a nostalgic viet restaurant vibe.

Order the hu tieu my tho, clear chewy noddle. It comes with the tomato ish sauce with cooked or raw bean sprout . Service was quick, food came out about 10 mins after. My son and I are in search of the perfect hu tieu bowl. He rank this one as number 2.

Came here with my parents, and we ordered the 2 bowls of the hu tieu nam vang and 1 order of banh beo chen. Both items were delicious! I do think the price for the hu tieu nam vang was a bit steep since the portion was small in my opinion. Would also like to note that the older gentleman who took our order was so sweet! Great customer service. Overall, would visit again!

    * Delicious, flavorful broth: The soup is rich and naturally sweet from pork bones -- no overwhelming MSG taste. Very authentic Southern Vietnamese style. * Fresh and well-prepared toppings: Shrimp, pork, quail eggs, and liver are all clean and nicely cooked. * Friendly and fast service: Staff are polite, efficient, and the food comes out quickly even during busy hours. * Clean and cozy space: The restaurant is simple but neat and welcoming -- perfect for a family meal.

Came here for lunch with my daughter, the soup and dry noodles bowls is very delicious. 10 out of 10 everytime I come it's always been good no complaint. Service here is excellent, friendly, nice. Ambience here , it has alot of tables and you can come as a group. They played soft music relaxation. Highly recommend and i wouldn't go any where else. If you like rice noodles dry, their sauce on the side to put on the noodles are amazing taste. Pls come and try this place out if you haven't been here.

I like it when a restaurant focuses on their specialties, and this is one where their smaller menu is all hits. My favorite is the hu tieu my tho - though this time the red sauce wasn't as thick and flavorful as past years, and had less toppings, perhaps due to less ingredients on the day. Been coming here for years - it's a classic in my family for events and Christmas or New Years. Though having a small staff and it can get busy, they are thoughtful to you and your food wants, treating you like family. Overall, the most homey restaurant in all of OC.

Had the clear glass noodles, dry style (broth & sauce on the side). It's the #2 on the menu. It was good. I requested lean meat, no fat, and they followed instructions! Only thing was missing was the ground pork. I believe the real authentic dish comes with everything they serve here, plus the ground pork.

I got the #1 My Tho Noodles. You can get it with the clear chewy noodles or the white soft noodles or half and half. I always get the #1 dry with the chewy noodles. Sauce and soup is given on the side. My never-fail order. This dish is a one of a kind and I only get this dish from this restaurant because I don't see this noodle dish with this specific sauce anywhere else! It's pretty rare. It's a tomato base sauce that's tangy, savory, and delectable. They give you so much meat toppings and plumped shrimps. No complaints other then they need to put some kind of music on so we don't hear people slurping on their noods. Service is straight forward. You tell them what you want and it comes out. If you need anything you just give them a call. First, I pour the sauce on top then add in the crown daisy veggies and bean sprouts, squeeze that lime in, add picked jalapeños and garlic from the table condiment jar and enjoy the side soup on the side with some black pepper. 10/10

The noodles had a great chewy texture, and the star of the dish was definitely the sauce. It had that classic Vietnamese-Cantonese flavor, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, coating every bite of noodles without being too heavy. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a great chewy texture. They leaned a little on the sweeter side, but they were still really tasty. The sủi cảo were THICCCCCK in the best way possible! The wrappers had a nice bite, and the filling was juicy with that signature bouncy texture. We ended up ordering three bowls of Mì Sủi Cảo Khô, and everyone cleaned their bowls. The food was solid, but the service was pretty much nonexistent. The staff wasn't very friendly or attentive, although that's honestly something I've come to expect at a lot of places in Westminster. One thing that really stood out, though, was the condiment station. The chili oil, fresh chilies, and sauces looked dirty, and after tables were cleaned, the serving spoons and sauce dishes weren't replaced. I actually had to grab them from another table myself. Overall, I'd come back for the food because it was genuinely good, but the service and overall atmosphere could definitely use some improvement.

It's super casual inside with a very local vibe, and the kind of place where you come strictly for the food rather than a fancy setup. They're super well-known for their Bánh Canh, and for good reason--the thick, chewy tapioca noodles in that rich, comforting broth are incredible and easily the main event here. But surprisingly, their Phở Đặc Biệt is also excellent. The broth is deep and flavorful, the meat cuts are generous, and it easily competes with a lot of the dedicated phở spots around Little Saigon. To wash it all down, their Vietnamese iced coffee is a must--super strong, rich, and gives you that perfect, intense sweet-and-bold kick. Just a heads-up that the line can get pretty long, and the wait takes a while since they seem a bit understaffed. But once you finally get seated, the food comes out piping hot. If you're in the area and don't mind a wait for authentic, heavy-hitting noodle bowls, Mai Phung is definitely worth dropping into.
