3.5 stars Located in a super crowded plaza next to Luc Dinh Ky restaurant. The food is ok but at the usual $15 for an entree, I was hoping for yummier tastes. My friend said her hu tieu was a bit "too sweet" and my pan fried noodles was just ok/fine, some of my meats & veggies seemed like they were cooked too long, kind of scorched. Employees are friendly & shop is on the cozy smaller size.

Service was good and quick. We ordered six dishes and the best one was the shaken beef. The other dishes were a tad bit on the sweeter side for us.

Bún mắm ngonnnnn. Quán thoáng mát sạch sẽ. Chủ và nhân viên dễ thương. Great vibe, excellent service. Definity come back to try other plates too.

Great ambience and service here. Good Vietnamese comfort food is hard to find. But Thank goodness for Kasey's Pho and Grill in Westminster California which has been a community locals favorite for over ten years. They make everything fresh by hand and never frozen on a daily basis to keep all their kind and generous customers coming back for more every week. They also help the Seniors by accepting EBT Cal Fresh Debit cards. Overall I truly enjoyed their Amazing food options today. Everything was great and they have patio seating outside too. Nice comfortable clean restroom available for all guests. My Favorite is the roasted pork made to order or as an appetizer. Enjoy the Sunshine of Life. God Bless America

Hi. I'll get straight to the point. Food was flavorful, yummy, and honestly pretty quick to come out. The service was friendly, welcoming, and sweet. The ambiance was cozy, comfy, with a chill feel. I recommend the garlic noodles with beef. Add some of the soy sauce on the side into the noodles, mix, and boom a delicious comfort meal.

All the dishes we tried here are good, and the staff are quick and friendly. My favorite is the mi xào don.

It was hard to enjoy the food when there is no A/C especially in this hot weather. I didn't really it my food, it took it for to go because it was so hot. The fan wasn't doing much. Service is wonderful

Very Vietnamese hole in the wall with nice staff and pennywort juice. The pho was just okay but their banh canh was on point. Could've used more noodle but the meat portions were generous. Broth was good too. Solid Vietnanese squeezed orange juice. Plenty of parking and seating on a Sunday morning.

Noodles with a grilled pork and egg rolls. Bún thịt nướng chả giò. Delicious.

This place is especially known for their duck noodle soup. However, everything on their menu is delicious.

The food was good. Service was fast. But This place has no AC. It felt like a sauna. I realized most asian restaurants do not turn on their AC. Made my dining experience meh. But I will come back again to try other dishes in the winter.

Unassuming restaurant but their food is the star.I highly recommend their Sliced beef filet mignon perfectly cooked beef and just right on the amount of spice used that brings out the flavors of the beef and when mixed with the vegetables so comforting to my taste buds. The pho is not salty like the other typical pho restaurant and the steak is not rubbery. Friendly staff who accommodate all your needs. In fact, since our first time to try this place we asked a lady who tells us that her daughter only prefers to eat pho in Kasey's. And so she recommends us the food they usually order. Therefore, the verdict is in this restaurant made it in my go to Vietnamese restaurant list every time we're near this area.

Looks like I was late to the game because they have been famous with articles from Eaters Magazine LA and The New York Times about Chef Winnie Yee, the Pit Madam. I think this is a new location they expanded to in the Cottage Industries newly developed area in Garden Grove. There is a small private lot off 9th street, but it's usually full, so you can find additional parking off 8th or 7th street nearby. I was helped by Swarna and she was so friendly, courteous and helpful. My boyfriend and I wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered 1/2 lb Brisket ($19), 1/2 lb Siu Yuk ($16), 1 Green Curry Sausage ($9), Mac and Cheese ($8), Tallow Fries ($8), and a Regular Fountain Drink ($3.50). We took the food togo, but everything tastes fresh and delicious. It did not affect the quality of the food. The one feedback I would like to give the restaurant is that it seems a bit stingy to only give us only one of each sauce when we ordered 3 meats. I didn't see this until we got home or I would have asked for more. It's hard to say which one was my favorite because both the brisket and the siu yuk were good. It was not only the flavor but the quality of the protein. The green sausage was a really nice fusion execution of a traditional American barbecue item. The sides were less exciting. I ate them and they were average but I don't feel like they live up to how great the proteins were. I would definitely order different sides the next time I come back. A great execution from Chef Winnie's Asian background in perfect harmony with American barbecue. I'll definitely be back!

It was plenty of food, more than enough for all of us and pretty affordable I'd say for barbecue. My favorite meat would probably be the crispy pork or brisket. Best side was the sesame slaw, fresh and helps cut the fats from all the meat. The cornbread was a tad dry but the butter helped out. Fries were also just alright, would've chosen something else. Also really like the outdoor seating idea but realistically, during summer... the flies and the heat are unbearable. Wished there was an indoor option.

They also have various vegetables, green beans, Chinese broccoli, Bok Choi, etc. on a daily basis but rotate the type of greens, depending on the day. The 2 item combo "means" you get to choose TWO MEAT varieties. The combo includes white or fried rice or noodles and a scoop of one of the green vegetables. THE PORTION SIZES are substantial and you can walk out with a 2 item combo for $12 and a 3 item for only $1 more, $13. They have additional DELICIOUS "side" dishes which I'm not exactly how you can incorporate them into your combo meals, but you definitely can order them separate. Today, I got half and half Turnip cake and Chow Fun, asked for green beans and Crispy Pork Belly and he just charged me accordingly, $16.... which is two meals for me. Anyways, I've been coming to this place for many years and I do believe they do a great job when it comes to the food. However on my last visit, they gave me the wrong order. I didn't realized I have gotten the wrong order until driving home. I call them saying I got the wrong order and if I can get a refund or dispute because I am not going to pay for something I did not want. Upon calling, they asked if I can drive back and return it but I'm already an hour away on the freeway. They took down my name and number and said they'll redeem the same order in my next visit. Here I am visiting today, and I told them the situation and the same worker talked to me. He started lecturing me that I should've returned the food. "Food is food. If you don't like don't eat"... He continued to talk loudly and making a statement in front of this whole team and all of them looking like I was in the wrong. Excuse you? Did I ask for a box of bones? We went when prices were still like $18.99/each AYCE at night but now I heard it's $23/each, which is understandable but unfortunate for us students. Both times we went, the portions each order was solid and the meat quality was good, better than expected. We ate tons of meat and some of us ordered sides, the wait for the orders weren't too long and the grill was being changed frequently. The staff were nice and the service was relatively quick even when they were busy. One order seemed to be forgotten but another server checked in on us and they went back to make sure everything was proper, which was nice. When I went with my friend, the two of us were challenging each other and we ended up being the very last party to leave. Unfortunately, we ordered more than we could eat due to our competitiveness and it was already past 12 p.m. They decided not to charge us the leftover fee so I tipped more to compensate. Shoutout to the kind staff that watched me try to scarf down the food at the end and seeing a duo last longer than a party of 11 . I recommend going here late at night to try out their, now $23, AYCE from 10 p.m to 12 p.m and note that their last call is 11:30 p.m. Another thing is that you have to sign up on the waitlist via their tablet in-person, so come around 9:15 p.m if you're going with a large party and hit up the H-Mart across while waiting!
