    Roast beef

Skip it, unfortunately. I think the high reviews are from intoxicated people during the night. Wed 140 pm. Ordered roast beef. There is barley a slice, on what is definitely day old bread. With the fries (frozen, deep fried) the cost was $14. I was told $1 more for a "meal" (can of pop). Pictures uploaded. Even subway gives more meat. Bummer. People are very nice.

A local place, that serves more than sub sandwiches, gyros, hotdogs, Italian beef, burgers, are some of the items available, Basic dining area if you are dining in All seating is booths. RC products served plus other canned and bottled beverages. A very nice variety of favorites.

I judge a book by its cover. I wouldn't have walked into Submarine City if it weren't for my husband. When he's hungry. He's hungry. Sandwiched between a liquor store and a poster store, this joint is your typical late night diner. Any place that has a "Deep from our Fryer" section in their menu means business. (Fried mushrooms, cheese sticks, poppers, pizza puffs...) We ordered the turkey with mayo ($4.45). Didn't expect much but was surprised by a delicious sub on soft chewy Turano bread. They went a little heavy on the mayo, so make sure to tell them to take it easy. Staff here was incredibly friendly. When we ordered the fried mushrooms ($2.25) that comes with a side of ranch they gladly substituted marinara sauce for us. Then when I made a face after eating a shroom, one of the guys behind the counter asked if I wanted the ranch instead. I said no thanks, I just burned my mouth with the fried mushroom.

I usually grab the Turkey w/ Mustard, and boy is it delicious! The gyros here are also top notch! You can't beat the prices here.

As a lover of pastries I heard about this local gem and had to check out . I came especially…read morebecause as a fan of anything pistachio, I heard they had a croissant one and needed it in my life . Local spot located next to Lockport metra train station . I would recommend going early , as you can miss out on options if you go any later than 1030. I arrived about that time and and missed out on the pistachio croissant but did get to grab a lobster tail, a pan chocolate, a blueberry croissant and a chocolate raspberry mini cake . I asked a few questions and the young lady was helpful in helping me make choices. I only had the lobster tail pastry which is crunchy on the outside with a soft inside and it tastes like vanilla. Perfect with a cup of coffee. I also had a few bites in the blueberry croissant that my hubby shared with me for a few bites . Had actual blueberries in it with what we believe was canolli filling. Very tasty . I'll assume the remaining treats I ordered will be delicious. Store makes their food fresh with healthy ingredients as well. They offer breakfast sandwiches, bagels , English muffins and sourdough bread . If you find yourself in the area check them out . There is also a nice walking path nearby so you can eat on a bench nearby and go for a quiet walk afterwards .
