The service was bad and the ambiance was toxic thanks to the guy who looks like he hates his job and he is slowly seeping away from life due to diabetes. New management? Still the same bad customer service. Not even worth coming here. I showed up at the time it said on the app because it said "your order is ready". I waited outside for about 30 minutes waiting for my order. Called them, and he said that he hasn't even started making it. The app said "your order is ready please wait for it to be brought to your car". He kind had an attitude on the phone gaslighting me telling me that there are customers ahead of me when I ordered before all those customers. Not sure why there is one employee the during rush hour. I usually do not review a chain deli, but I have give a shout-out to this location. I noticed upon walking in that the place was clean and dining area was well-set up. I ordered a black Forest ham, and unlike other Subways, the portions were generous abd tomatoes were terrific. I particularly liked the new gerbal olive oil. This was one if the vest Subway sandwiches I've ever had. The lady who made my sandwich did a great job. Management shoukd enhance efficiency by adding one more person to the floor during lunch hour, hence the missing star. Anyway, hats off! read more

I usually visit this location once or twice per week and yesterday was a terrible experience. Whoever the guy was yesterday (1/6) had no idea what he was doing and is shorting cudtomers.. First he cut the bread and gave me the 4 or 5 inch piece. He went on to put about half of a normal Subway portion of meat on my sandwich. The veggie patty salad was quite pathetic too. Literally a pinch of cheese. Either this guy has shares in the company or just dislikes customers. No friendliness whatsoever. Weather this stems from poor training, or just plain incompetence, it will only drive customers away. I only wish I had taken pictures of the smallest Subway sandwich I've ever seen. I'd expect more being a return customer to this sad little location! It's pretty sad when you have to apologize for the food when you bring it to the person. read more

The.Worst! My first time dealing with open discrimination in Humboldt. The "manager" Bailey went out of her way to be rude to me from the moment I walked in and CALLED THE COPS on me over SPINACH! This was after she upcharged my salad to a protein bowl price, People get more lettuce on their sandwich than she put in my $10 salad. When I expressed dissatisfaction at checkout she refused to give me my money back or to give me more spinach in my salad!! She caused a whole scene and even closed the store over SPINACH!!! They are in the strip mall with plenty of parking. There is indoor seating and a bathroom. Two women working the line, one was slower and not putting lids back on the food items so the other kept doing it. Very minimal chip options and cookies. Staff can be slow and messed up what items we asked for on the sandwich. read more

I love eating here at this Subway it's clean, they are fairly quick, and they aren't as rude as other Subways. Customers are always right, they stick by that here. Love the calorie count, I don't count them but it's nice to see the difference between them. I always get a footlong Veggie Delite or Meatball and save the other 6 inch for a snack later. Stopped in recently with my wife and daughter. The girl running the shop was friendly and patient, while putting together some well-made sandwiches for us. The restaurant was clean, including the restroom. Daughter ordered her usual "pizza sandwich" with marinara, shredded cheese and olives, toasted. Everything was great! read more

I waited outside subway from around 5:45pm to 6:35pm for them to open up. Watching people go up to the door and leaving. The door had a note saying they were closed for break. The store closes at 7pm. Very unprofessional. Next time write when your break is over and not take it so close to closing or hire more people. read more

My "hot" sandwich is still cold the chicken is pretty much frozen, even though it was toasted too and had waaaayy too much sauce on it. I am ONLY giving 3 stars for my interactions with one of the employees at this location (She use to work at the Subway in Mckinleyville). Her name is Crystal and she has curly red-ish brown hair. She is a true sandwich artist and puts love into my sandwich each time! She has the best personality and I wish she was the one making my sandwich every time I go (at least twice or 3 times a week!). To be honest, I am disappointed with my service as well as the freshness of the bread and veggies on a regular basis (Unless Crystal is working, strange but I feel like she picks out the best looking bread and condiments to be sure I am treated right and leaving happy!!). I still enjoy eating at subway and will continue to do so because it is very close to my work location. read more

Rude treatment seems to be the norm here. I went in for lunch and watched the girl (short, brown hair in pony tail) cop an attitude to the guy next to me when all he did was ask for cheese on his sandwich. She said "Don't give me attitude" and did the same thing to the customer after this guy. I watched 2 people who walked in to eat instead turn and walk out. They don't honor the posted prices. I ordered a foot long Italian BMT which according to the sign would be $7. It ended up being $7.89 plus tax ($8.56). When I asked the server about the discrepancy, being charged more than $7, she told me that $7.89 is the price, the posted sign must be wrong, and "this company sucks". read more

We have patronized this place 3 times during our one-week stay here. Beverly has been our sandwich-maker every time, and she is an added bonus in addition to the excellent grub, like getting the extra credit right on a test. She is super-friendly, and makes good suggestions on flavor combinations, like Chipotle mayonnaise on the steak and cheese sub, or sweet onion sauce on the meatball marinera. I visited this location last night and decided to leave without purchasing anything after craving subway the entire day! I walked in about 30 minutes before closing and instead of being greeted I was rudely told that I could not have my bread toasted (before I could even order) because the oven was turned off for cleaning. I understand that it can be frustrating to have someone come in so close to closing as I've worked fast food but this employee was so rude about it! I have come to this location once before (about a year ago) and a different employee also seemed irritated that we had walked in to order.
