I try to stop in at a BK when visiting new places, so stopped in after dinner to pick up my simple order of one Whopper, ordered via the app. We had already eaten previously at Costco, so this was a quick 'bring back to room' kind of thing. The app allowed the choice of Xtra toppings on my burger (Have It Your Way!), so got it with Extra Lettuce for additional $0.50 (total price of $8.39 for one burger). Nope...pretty much the same amount of chopped lettuce that I usually get, so was disappointed. It also had cheese (which I don't mind), but wasn't what I ordered. On a positive, it was the first time I used a BK Gift Card that I had purchased, and it is nice that one can transfer it to your account on the app. It makes it easy to order from any U.S. BK in the future. read more

The inside of this place smells like a portable toilet. The wait time of my food is not the issue but the absolute high out of their minds, peanut gallery employees. I had ordered 2 large cokes and while waiting for the rest of the order was handed a large and medium cup (NOT A BIG DEAL I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE) but after filling our cups (with the only option sprite) one employee stopped the other saying "hey they ordered 2 large cokes, not a large and small sprite" (you can't get coke yourself idk) the employee then looked and me and threw their hands up and yelled "why didn't you tell me" I don't know?? I was confused?? Why are you yelling?? regardless not that big of a deal they give me my large coke we get our food and quickly exit the FOUL smelling building. WHY WAS MY COKE SO SPICY?? Just stay away. I came on a quick lunch break and it was a disaster from the moment I walked up. First, I order my usual whopper combo and immediately the man at the register quickly yells out that the only size they had for drinks was large. Ok, no big deal at first but kind of weird. The interaction continues with my order being finished, payed, etc; at this point the cashier goes to the back to grab my drink and hands me a coffee stirrer(opened, with his bare unwashed hands after handling cash) and says "we're out of straws, this is all we have". So we wait in the pretty dirty lobby(always looks like they only clean once every other week) and my number gets called. I go to grab my food and the same cashier says "do you want buffalo or sweet &sour?" I tell him no and ask for ketchup packs. Before I even finish he interrupts me and loudly/rudely says " the only sauces we have are buffalo and sweet &sour". No apologies or customer service during any of this. Stopped in here for lunch one day while I was out exploring the area. My next stop after lunch was Humboldt Cider Co. for a cider tasting - so I needed to get some food! I ordered the traditional chicken sandwich - with cheese, tomato, and onions added, plus a bottle of water. Food was made to order and was hot and tasty. There were a few what I believe to be "homeless" people loitering about outside. The restroom in this BK needs to be gutted and rebuilt from the ground up. I was charging my iPhone off of a Limefuel battery while I ate lunch. Some guy came up to me and told me his phone was dead and he needed to make a call - and could he plug his phone into my battery and get a quick charge? Review written after two visits. First visit all of the napkins, straws, ketchup,creamer, and sugar are provided only upon request and then given out with extreme frugality. The restroom was locked, so if you wish to wash your hands before eating, you must go to the counter and get a staff member to open the door for you--so you have to wait (good luck if you have a toddler). Subsequent visit was worse. The parking lot at the Eureka, CA BK is rife with homeless individuals and one came up to my car and caught me by surprise and I dropped my sandwich. I went back in to purchase another sandwich and the young cashier offered me a free replacement, due to the cause of the mishap. The manager became angry and demanded I return the dropped sandwich. He said he needed to record waste. I went to retrieve it from the trash. Then after making me do this, he told me that once food has been sold--BK is not responsible for anything that happens to it and he ordered the cashier to charge me--after the cashier had offered a no-charge replacement. The young employee was humiliated, I was humiliated and I left. My family and friends have agreed to stop spending their money at BK. Please be warned that this location is a penny-pinching establishment that does nor care about repeat customers and the manager is especially hateful. read more

When I get there, I'm told by the manager that he has to "authorize" the order, which is done after the customer shows in person. I've used the app to order at several locations, but this is a first... So, the order can't be ok'ed until you get there? What's the use of ordering in advance with the app?? We went in the other night as my boyfriend wanted to drive all the way through Eureka to get a BK fix. I was trying to be positive for him because I don't eat fast food, but was willing to make the trip with him. We walk in and its filthy. They are 2 people waiting for their food. One guy seems utterly disgusted as he stands at the counter. My boyfriend asks him what's going on and he said his first order was cold so they were making him a second order. He was laughing in disbelief because when he brought the cold food to the employees attention, one of the employees got confrontational and started to be billigerent. The customer remained calm. The employees were all moving at a turtle's pace and it was comically. I felt like we were being punked. Anyway, my boyfriend made the decision on his own to let the employees know that because of the poor way the other customer was treated, we would not be eating there. We walked out. My wife and I get there in our vehicle, and go through the drive thru to try and avoid the congregation of bums who hold their nightly meetings at this location. Crossing the street to get into the parking lot was already painful enough, as there was a crazy person ringing the neck of a helpless light pole and practicing his cartwheels. Having no idea what the person said, I used my previous knowledge of drive thrus to piece together that they wanted us to order when we were ready. We ordered, pulled up, paid, etc. We were expecting really great food because it took so long we assumed they were slaughtering the cow and butchering the meat right there to give us the freshest burger possible. My wife never orders fries but always eats mine, so she was the first to experience this brown bag disaster. Immediately as she pulled a fry from the bag, the whole car was enveloped with the smell of freshly minted copper. I don't know how this fry could smell so weird, it was like it had been chopped up from a potato that was grown in a farm where the farmer skipped all showers and farted directly into the earth giving each crop a distinct ass based taste with subtle hints of what I can only describe as butt juice. These fries were absolutely horrible to all 5 senses. We tried throwing them away and our trash can burst into flames. We also ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and one burger. The burger looked like when you step in dog poop and don't notice it for a long time and then it gets all hard and caked up and you have to try to scrape it off your shoe but it doesn't come off very easily and gets all deformed. If a bear was going to eat me and I had this burger on me, I would let the bear eat me instead to save it from this digestion disasterpiece. The chicken sandwiches were fried in the same ass based oil that they used for the fries. Just reeked of booty sweat. One was completely inedible and I'm pretty sure it was raw or the chicken that it came from was incredibly fit. The other was as tough as a sweidsh handlebar mustache but did have the benefit of coming with cheese. The chicken was so nasty however the cheese was acceptable and the bun was a bun. So I added some buffalo sauce to it and ate a buffalo cheese sandwich like a god damn loser. Then I wrote this review. What a terrible experience. read more

On Saturday March 28, 2020 in the midst of the Covid19 outbreak, we decided to venture out and get a fast food burger. We had watched the commercials about how much care was used to not contaminate our food so it was a given we go there. We placed our order with four cars ahead of us. Finally get to the window where the chubby guy with the headphones on was. He took our payment then we just sat there. Our order took a very long time. During this we saw this guy cough and cough without covering his mouth! We watched in horror. How could he be doing this during such a scary time. We finally got our food, which was cold. During this time he kept looking into our bag. He must have played with it 4 or 5 times. We get home with our cold food and toss it into the trash! I have been here numerous times. Service is super slow for a place that is not as crowded as the one across the street. Also they have just started making me sign the receipt for my purchases with the card. Gee, I wonder why?! Dislikes: The large fry is a scam it's not really a large, they give you thick fries in a medium container and call it large, and they add way too much ice to your soda so you get less soda. Burger King is my favorite burger place no matter where they are. This one is no different. Fast service, great food and recently they even added a new iced tea urn that offers a selection of iced tea from unsweetened to various flavors. My only criticism is it tends to be "bum friendly". Being on the North side of town it not only seems to draw local transients but the staff pretty much ignore them. Not much you can do about them hanging out in the restaurant drinking coffee but I've seen them numerous times outside the front door panhandling. Sometimes I'll just drive by if I'm not in the mood to deal with them. Some of the transients even use the restrooms for their morning personal needs. I saw one enter the restroom one morning, exiting about 15 minutes later while still brushing his teeth.
