HORRIBLE FOOD + service. Boy did the AVERY ST SUBWAY in Ashland, Oregon take a dive - subs are half filled now, mostly bread, + last one I ordered 10-15-25 had so much pepper that it was inedible. If the veggies are half reduced, the pepper should be reduced as well. After tossed the sub, I contacted Subway via phone # and 2 email msgs + not even the courtesy of a response. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE + is the reason I will never go to Subway again. YUCK read more

I am a firefighter and got there sometime after 8pm and tried to get 20 sandwiches for my crew, and the young guy that works there, just told me straight NO.!! Gosh what can I say other than that i cringed when they were making my sandwich. The vegetables looked soggy, old and unappealing. Italians herb and cheese loaf that I requested had no herbs on it. Thanks Ming. The way they squirt the sauce unevenly was also hard to look at and to top it off the way they close the sandwich so clumsy rather than pressing down the veggies etc with the knife so that its compact and not falling apart would of imroved the experience. Do yourself a favor and go to Pita Pit just up the street. read more

If I was able to give a negative review I would. After many times ordering a 12 inch Italian Herbs and Cheese with chicken breast, salami, peporine and Ham etc... with the meat, and getting it. I am told it can not be done, I am limited to 3 meats on a sandwich, never mind I am only getting meat, cheese, an bread, or the fact that it has been done before. Have not been back since today. I went in with my daughter tonight after driving for 6 hours. The place was totally empty. My kid just wanted a plain Turkey 6" on white. I wanted a sweet onion teriyaki with veggies. When she asked me what veggies I told her everything but pickles is fine. My daughter and I started looking at drinks and I walked back over and the girl had put all the veggies on the plain Turkey. I told her the veggies were for my sandwich and the other was plain. She was acting completely put out even having to serve us. I got back to my hotel and realized she'd never toasted my sandwich or put on the sweet onion dressing. Then, my husband gets to our hotel and I told him we'd gone to Subway. He went there and he asked her 4 times to toast his sandwich. 4 times!!! She either wasn't listening or was just being a jerk and she just kept asking him what veggies he wanted completely ignoring that he wants his Buffalo chicken sandwich hot. He was so pissed when he got back. He said she pushed the food across the counter and gave him the total. And he had to ask for a bag 3 times so he could carry his order back for him and our son. No napkins. Terrible service. The gal even tuned off the lights to the dining area as he was getting drinks and they're still open for another hour. I wish I could rate this 0 stars. This was the worst visit to a subway I'd ever had. The guy making our sandwiches didn't even pay attention to what we were saying, he was just throwing random things on our sandwiches. He gave me pickles, when I didn't even ask for them?! Then got rude when I said something about it. He put barely any mayo on, but then covered it in mustard and I'm not talking about how they normally do. It was all over the sandwich, he was spray happy. He burnt the sandwich when he toasted, then acted like nothing was wrong. It was almost like he was trying to rush us out the door at 6 pm on a Thursday. I definitely felt that he didn't want us there by his attitude. I didn't want to pay. The girl working behind the counter (wish I had caught her name) was extremely friendly and made our sandwiches to order. After we seated and finished our brunch, she even walked by and asked to take our trash. The store manager was conducting interviews at the table next to us which was a bit awkward. I feel that could have been done outside, or maybe elsewhere? It's a small Subway so the entire conversation was heard by all seated in the place. My main complaint about this Subway, the floors were pretty dirty and our table was not entirely cleaned before we sat down. Otherwise, parking was somewhat limited but thankfully when we were there, not many people were in Subway. I don't think I'll ever have a Subway sandwich made in Ashland ever again. After having worked at the Ashland St location, I know that the health and safety standards there are subpar, and now I fear that this location is slipping too. I ordered online to minimize my time in the restaurant, and it's hard to know where to start . . . I walk in to pick up the order for me and my partner and right off the bat, I can see that one of the sandwiches is wrong. It's okay though. I caught it and mistakes can happen to anyone right? Well, I get home, and I'm looking forward to relaxing and eating, and I'm dishing out the sandwiches. But then I notice the second mistake. Two of the veggies that had been on one sandwich were on ANOTHER sandwich of the same type that I had NOT ordered those veggies on!! I go back to the restaurant, stress levels rising because now I have to go back outside my house AGAIN and in the RAIN. The person behind the counter offers to remake it. I wind up having to basically babysit them through the process. They just were NOT even READING the receipt that told them what went on it. And when I stopped them because they forgot to toast it, they put the tomatoes that had ALREADY TOUCHED the cheese BACK into the bin! And when I stopped them AGAIN because they were putting too much banana peppers on (I had ordered the sandwich with LESS) they gave me sass, telling me that they weren't done with the redo of my order. I can't tell you how frustrated I was at this time. As it is now, I've lost my appetite due to the stress this has added to my already extra-stressful week. I am done with the incompetence and disregard for health and safety practices I've seen in these Subways. I will not be bringing my business to the Ashland restaurants again. read more

Had great service and sandwiches from Ming today and this subway location. We love subway but you never know if the staff will be friendly or not. Ming was smiling and did a great job even though they were busy.
