(We stopped in Durango for a short period of time on a roadtrip) This was also the first time I've ever seen "frings" on a menu, it's just a mix of fries and onion rings and it was perfect because I wanted both and couldn't decide. The onion rings in particular were phenomenal. I also loved the little street-side dining area. It was a great spot to enjoy the meal outside and get some fresh air. The service was friendly and helpful, and they answered all of our questions with honest recommendations. I also like that you can order from an iPad if there's a line and you already know what you want. Definitely a place I'd recommend and happily come back to!

He turned around and said, "someone will bring it to you." So I went and sat outside. No one ever brought the ranch. Look - it's not about the ranch - it's about the attitude of the servers. Rolling eyes, treating us like we were trying to steal or con you guys out of something. And then when I paid for it I never even got it. So now I'm not only over-paying for mediocre food but then I'm treated like trash and paying for something I don't even get.

The bagel shop is conveniently located just a 785 foot walk from the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot, making it an ideal stop before boarding the train. We arrived early in the morning, well before boarding time, so there was no crowd and service was quick and friendly. We both ordered the big breakfast bagel along with a beverage. The sandwich came loaded with egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese on our choice of bagel, and it was served promptly. A nice bonus was the 5% discount for paying with cash. Most importantly, the food was delicious. The bagels were fresh and flavorful, and in our opinion, far better than grabbing breakfast from the fast-food on the other side of the tracks. Some reviewers have commented on the prices, but given the location next to one of Durango's biggest tourist attractions, the pricing seemed reasonable to me. Convenience and location certainly add value here.
