The worker was super helpful and gave me their personal recommendations. The bacon cheeseburger is an absolute must and they nailed it. I'm always worried about locations that offer sweet potato fries because they can be a hit or miss, but this place nailed it on the head. It converted one of my friends who's normally not a fan of sweet potato to almost finishing the entire side. The salad and bowl combinations were also delightful. The bowl had a bit more carbs than expected, but the combination of flavors on top made it all well worth. Employees were polite and took our orders well. It takes a little while for the food to come out, but from the flavors we've experienced, I'd say it was all worth it. The location is towards the the back of the block. It has a rustic vibe with plenty of sturdy wood to complete the countryside vibe. I was very surprised to find that grass burger was practically empty at 2 o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was excellent, cheerful and fast. A little pricey for a hamburger and fries but more than we could eat and stayed with us so that we did not need dinner later. So make the effort to find grass burger, it's a little tucked back so obviously off the beaten path. Wish I would've taken a picture, but there are beautiful pictures already. Took almost 30 minutes to get. The food was brought out to us. When I ordered, I requested a burger cooked medium rare and my husband ordered medium. Both burgers were cooked well. Shrunk and dried out. I liked all the vegies, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle, onion but, burger was just way over cooked, and I felt that the burger might have been a smashed burger, dry. When I asked for a receipt, the cashier noticed that he had mistakenly charged for an extra beverage, at $3.00. and refunded that amount. I was surprised that the fries were hot and tasty!. Wasn't until it was too late (as in, we were long gone), we discovered it was with buns, and both had cheese. Needless to say, our meal was noon too pleasing. A decent experience...here's the breakdown. Cashier was friendly and answered questions honestly. Liked the cane sugar drink options. We waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. Burger and burger bowl was good. Fries were my favorite part, nice and crispy. Unfortunately there was only one clean table at which to sit. (Could've eaten outside but it was a bit chilly for my liking.) It was apparent no one had been out to the dining room for a while. Almost every unoccupied table was a mess. Wrappers and scraps were strewn on the floor and there was a pile of fries that had fallen in the visible kitchen area. Ketchup bottles were sticky. (I would have liked to use packets but ketchup was out. Packets for mayo and mustard & ketchup were a good idea.) Overall good, but it was truly hard for me to enjoy our meal. I asked if there was a way to wipe tables and was told they'd be taken care of, but no one came to help. Just as we were finishing our meal, an employee started picking up. I understand being busy & short staffed but feel cleanliness should be a priority. This burger place is about 1 block off the Main Street. Fast service at the counter and then they hand you a number for your table. When your order is ready they bring it to your table. Came in because my friend said he had the best burger he'd ever had here. Service was really slow, and by the time I got my burger I started eating and noticed that there was mayo on my burger after asking for no may since I have an allergy. The staff was very apologetic and said they would fix it. 20 minutes went by and I had to ask again for a burger. I stopped in to this restaurant recently, and had a great experience overall. The food was absolutely fantastic -- flavorful, well-presented, and served promptly. Major kudos to the kitchen and front-of-house staff for that. As for the team dynamic, I wanted to acknowledge how refreshing it was to see such polite and upbeat energy from the two gentlemen working. They were welcoming and attentive the entire evening. There were also two women--one with a sleek long black braid and another with golden brown hair--who both seemed kind, professional, and on top of their game. That said, there was one staff member whose presence felt noticeably off. While not overtly vocal, her demeanor came across as heavy and a bit stifling--almost like a storm cloud quietly hovering. It was hard not to sense the tension she brought into the room, especially given how the rest of the team appeared to be working hard to keep things running smoothly and positively. First off, the burgers are just amazing. Grandkids had the kids cheeseburger while my wife had the bacon cheeseburger and the Hatch Chili cheeseburger for me. All were super juicy and satisfying. The French Fries were some of the best I've ever had. The was a line after the 4th of July parade but the wait times were short. The staff worked exceptionally hard to keep up with orders while making sure the quality was high. This is a no frills but clean place right off Main Avenue.
