I went to this subway and to my amazement they had more than just the subs. Let me tell you when I got my rear to the counter and saw the mouth-watering chocolate chip cookies. I was about to drop to the floor. Never have I seen a sandwich shop that is this delicious have this type of cookie. I am absolutely stunned and amazed and so is my wife Margaret. I've ordered online from this location on 4 separate occasions. The app will tell me the order is ready about 20 minutes later, and all 4 times the orders haven't been started yet. Poor time management. Would've been easier to just come in and waste the time to order at the counter. read more

Not embellishing one bit.....every time we stop at this Subway there is an issue with service and/or the product. In December, we stopped in at 8:45 pm to order sandwiches and staff said they couldn't service us they had already started putting away product. In January, staff couldn't toast sandwiches as the oven door fell off. In February, tried to order a sandwich but the store didn't have any meat for my sandwich order. In February, server has long hair but no hat or visor to protect the food. He also used the register with the same plastic gloves he made a sandwich. Our family relies heavily on Subway for our meals to go as our kids prefer Subway and my wife and I feel it is a healthier alternative to traditional fast food restaurants. But the issues taking place at this restaurant are giving the Subway brand a bad name. Avoid this place. read more

Service is AWFUL! First of all, the employees don't wear hair hats or visors. There hair is long and swings in their faces & over the food prep area. Secondly, the employees wear gloves, but are preparing the sandwiches and then touching the register & cash. Yuck! Lastly, there System is down today. They can't accept credit/debit cards. They can only accept cash, but nothing larger than a $20 bill. Good luck folks. You need to get it together. Maybe have management on the premises to handle all these issues! read more

Terrible customer service from latest batch of recruits. Placed online order today around noon. Order marked ready for pickup after 15 min. Arrived at store 10 min later. Order wasn't even started. Once they were aware the order was late, they proceeded to serve every customer in line until starting my order. Another 20min waiting in the store and we finally get our food. Total time 45 min for online order. Can't wait for the other location in town to finish remodel. Much better service there. read more

This location NEVER gets your order correct. They market using the app to place orders. It doesn't work. The people at the store don't bother reading them. The first time they completely left off all veggies. Second time they poured tons of mustard on my sandwich and the third time they gave me completely different bread than what is on the order. If you use online to order from this store you will have to go to the store to check to see that they got the order even if you get a confirmation email that says they have received your order. I ordered 4 footlong sandwiches at 3:00 for a group of friends who were coming to visit. I requested a 6:00 pm pickup time since my friends were coming at 6:30 pm. I got the confirmation email that my order had been received. I tried to call the store but their phone was out of order. It would answer but there was never anyone on the line. Just to make sure, I stopped by the store at about 3:30 while I was running other errands. Guess what? They said they had no online orders. I was going to give them the list but the young lady there seemed to want to make the sandwiches then. I said I did not want them that soon. I wanted them fresh at 6:00. She did not know how to take an order for later pick up. I told them to forget it! I also told them their phone was no working. Their reply . . . "We know". *Not take proper COVID-19 Precautions* Walked into the restaurant today and saw an employee in the back no mask (looked like he was prepping food too). Then while being helped by another employee that same maskless employee walked from the back maskless and went to the fountain drinks and refilled his drinks. I ended up just walking out without ordering. If that's how employees act while a customer is in the restaurant imagine how they act when no one is there. read more

I used to be a frequent customer here, especially trying to support his store during the last 2 1/2 years of the COVID craziness; my support and customer loyalty ENDED a few weeks ago especially for this store and for SUBWAY as a Corporate entity. Please read on if you want to share in my less than pleasant experience. I placed an order on July 4th, as their website showed the store open and the on-line order processed everything, charged my credit card and gave a me a confirmation and pickup time. I drive over to find the store locked up tight and obviously no order was ever prepared. Of course nobody answered the phone that day which proved nothing really; I've tried numerous times on numerous occasions to contact that store by telephone and e-mail on, and since, that day to no avail; save your time in trying to do this. I finally got an email response several days later from the local AZ Subway development office after several requests, apologizing not for the mess up in the order and charges or offering to help with reversing my credit card charges or refunding my Subway Rewards I had used as part of the never filled order, but rather only offering some feeble attempt at being sorry that nobody bothers to respond to my inquiries. You can take the time to respond to that point but can't bother to respond to why I keep getting charged for an order your website and store messed up, processed and charged my credit card for, but never had it ready to pick-up? I've now had to Dispute the Credit Card charges twice with my card provider as these schmucks keep trying to re-charge for a product they never provided, on a day they were not open, and refuse to respond to my inquiries to correct the original charges to my card and by the way refund the Subway Rewards I used as partial payment that the credit card provider of course cannot refund. Stellar Service from Subway!!!! It's pretty obvious to see why Subway's corporate share of the sandwich market is sliding into the pit of death and why their promises of "Have it Your Way" seem to be as fake as their Tuna and other sandwich fillings. Oh, by the way, if there really is a manager of the referenced store, sorry to bother your busy schedule in requesting a contact back to straighten this out and act like adults, but you obviously don't seem to give a rip, so here you go! Good luck in the future with your business ventures in our small town where the word of mouth travels faster than social media. Just sent my two boys over to grab 4 sandwiches for lunch. Im used to Subway always promising their bread baked fresh daily but our sandwiches certainly weren't. (I made a mistake and posted this to another location, caught this as I was writing a followup, so I erased my original review, reposting it here, and am posting a followup, so sorry if it looks a bit weird. I promise I'll pay closer attention going forward!) How long has it been since I've felt more than "meh" about a Subway? Cant remember, there was one in Gilbert that was OK, but other than that, my experience with them as a chain has been so-so and in Arizona mostly wretched. With one, "Worst in Class" experience mixed in. But after a long day of having my life saved at Mayo Clinic, I was a tad peckish, and we decided on a sandwich. Driving through Fountain Hills we decided that giving Subway there would be a reasonable gamble. This location w as a complete delight. CLEAN SUPER CLEAN! Nice! I was greeted when I walked in, and the one women working behind the counter apologized and said she would be with me as soon as her current customer was finished. As I waited, I looked at the food in the bins behind the glass and .. they were all appetizing looking! This was a first in a decade or more for me! Nice, neat, this is a store that is run by someone with personal pride. When my turn came, my wife ordered a steak & cheese w/extra meat, and I went for a Spicy Italian extra meat and cheese. (Its a heck of a value, and for us, 2-3 meals per sandwich) My wife was happy with her food, I was struck by things that are missing everywhere else. I never want to be a hassle so don't ask for it, but this woman separated the slices of meat on my sandwich, which makes a big difference in the texture of the sandwich, and nobody does. All this, and the store was only staffed with one person is astounding. Sadly, labor costs are eternal, no matter the business. The toppings were crisp, and the service was spot on perfect, the place, immaculate.. yes, it's a Subway, but within the world of Subways.. it's Iron Chef Subway. And I respect that. If I get a hunger for it again, there is only one Subway that will do, I live 2 blocks from the worst sandwich shop we have ever eaten at which also happens to be a Subway. (and after a respectful letter of feedback , we never heard back from the owner) And to get to this one, we drive by countless subways and other places. But nothing beats the taste that comes from a restaurant run with personal pride, and a real aim towards excellence. As I reread this it sounds impossible, and like I'm going on to long about it, but please believe me, its because my expectations and experiences have been so extremely low about this chain, I would always have chosen McDonald's or some drive through over Subway based on Arizona experiences! This location makes a value oriented sandwich the way it should be. I love a great sandwich, and will pay a pretty penny for one, Does this take the place of Duck and Decanter? Lets be real, no way, but, for a $5 Italian Spicy Sub? This Subway can be proud, Has ample parking, at least two nice staff folks (one lady was there working, another was just coming on) And even though I believed everything to be prefab, the ingredients were as fresh as could be, On recommendation, I tried spinach instead of lettuce on my sub and it really was a good flavor that worked very well. read more

I have stopped in to this subway several Sunday's over the past few months. Each time they were out of several key ingredients. This last Sunday the 13th they were completely out of coins. Standing in line I overheard several grumbly customers as they were told over and over that the items they wanted were not available. The reason for the 3 stars that I awarded them was the charming smiling girl on the line named Hannah. Wow what an asset this girl is even in the face of the store setting her up to fail by not having what she needs to make the guests happy this young lady continued to be calm and polite and friendly. Her coworker Kaitlyn was also smiling and friendly and Subway it is your job to set them up for success. Imagine what an awesome experience it would be to have these great kids wait on you and to be able to eat what you want not just what they have!!! read more

Had a craving for Subway today so stopped into this location near Target on Shea Blvd in Fountain Hills. The 'chef' couldn't have been nicer. I never thought I had to question the freshness Of Subway bread as I've always had fresh but this was very stale and dry, the ends inedible. If I'd not ordered to go and left, I'd have returned it. He was meticulous about the filling and wrapping. I have to think it's a manager's decision to not discard old bread. The Diet Coke tasted like regular...threw it away after a few sips. Cookies were great though I was disappointed to hear AZ had discontinued the Raspberry Cheesecake ones. Will return but be much more careful and watchful...probably ask how long the bread has been around. read more

I have never in my entire life had such phenomenal service in any eating establishment! When we walked in, Alex greeted us with a big smile and willing attitude to serve us. He happily added all the ingredients my mother asked for, and commented "we are here to make you happy." This blew us away, and then Alex's co-worker, a really nice young lady even added on to that which explains for their impressive customer service.
