Someone brings pizza to table when cooked. Otherwise it's on you. I spoke with the cashier about this and he said it was the owners thing. Seems like money grabbing to me to pay the bills. The amount of protein is plentiful, and the addition of the egg puts this over the top. The restaurant is a bakery so the bread used for the sub is soft and fresh. The onion rings were hot, had the perfect amount of crisp and they were not soggy like other places I've been to. Overall, I left with nostalgia and I am definitely looking forward to coming back! Customer Service: Upon arrival, the waitresses welcomed me in and invited me to sit anywhere. I was promptly tended to and my waitress was soooooo friendly!!! It's the southern charm and politeness I miss the most about North Carolina and neighboring areas. Already knowing the sandwich I wanted, I took her advice between the fries and onion rings and she didn't steer me wrong! I appreciate her work ethic and making sure that everyone in the dining room had what they needed and helping a few others (some first timers!) decide on what they wanted. Ambiance: This place is casual, and intimate in a way. It's not a huge space but it's big enough for multiple groups to enjoy lunch or small families to have a sit-in dinner.
