Worker was an absolute jerk!!! No customer service etiquette!!! We have a big family with all boys, so naturally they eat a lot. He wouldn't make 8 footlongs for us because it's considered a catering order. Then I told him my sister will order 4 then I will order 4. He said no because he knows we're getting 8. Then I told him we'll just get 7 then. He ripped off his gloves slammed on the counter and said he'll be back and walked in the back. I must come in here and say that the service I got today at the Subway by Safeway was the best I've had in a long time. The young man William served me up 2 meals and basically created them for me because I had no idea what I was doing. He was so kind and respectful and patient that I have yet to see that in the younger generation anymore. It was such a pleasant experience. The cashier also picked up on it and was a charm. The ever-so friendly management of this establishment knows how to pick them well and I pray that they do well at this location. And may I add my meals were delicious, looking and tasting. Right off the bat the worker had an attitude. We had 2 simple sandwiches and somehow managed to mess them up. A few meats were missing from our sandwiches and when we opened them from the package it was ass messy and everything was spilling out. She took about 15 minutes to make our food. After finishing with making the sandwiches the total came out to a ridiculous amount of almost $40... Just 2 footings and 2 drinks for that price is insane, on top of the rude and disgusting customer service. Either she needs to be trained better or she should stay in the back. read more

My husband and I grew up in Mililani all our lives and been coming here since they first opened. We've always enjoyed coming to this location and never had any problems. UNTIL.....the last few years! Up until today when we ordered our lunch, it always seems as if it's a problem that we are ordering a sandwich from SUBWAY! The workers are usually young which is fine but the attitude they have and the customer service they provide are HORRIBLE!! Have bought subs from this location nearly weekly. As others have mentioned, requesting to have your bread toasted is pretty much a waste, but I could let that go. What's really mess'd up, is clearly placing your order, coaching the preparer through it and when they stray, you get attitude? While ordering, we made mention, that we didn't want onions, but she decided to put them on the sub. As she was doing it, we kindly stated, Sorry, we didn't want onions, so (while never breaking eye contact) with a clearly delivered attitude, never broke eye contact as she pulled the onions off of the sub and threw them back into the container. - To add insult to injury, she then completely drown both our barely toasted subs in Mayo... Yum, yum. - Yeah, we won't be going back anytime soon. If Covid wasn't enough to keep us away, your preparers attitude surely did the trick. read more

Came here tonight and was not impressed. "Alexis" had an awful attitude from the moment we stepped in. We watched her serve several people before us and she was just flinging the meat and cheese and missing the bread and the respective container. Not only this but she had little patience for the gentleman before us. After finishing up our transaction she just huffed and walked away without saying anything. Just slammed down the receipt as her way of dismissing us. The wrap we ordered barely had any meat in it. Usually the better workers at this location fill up the meat tray. This experience was very off putting as the workers here are usually awesome. I understand that this may be a stressful job, but that is no reason to treat people with disrespect. read more

My father in law ordered us lunch from here, he got a footlong sub and I got a wrap , he ordered/payed online and went inside to pick it up, they didn't add any of the vegetables that I wanted in my wrap! subway is convenient and affordable. I will continue to dine here but do have a few complaints. nearly every time I come here they do not toast the sub well. I wonder if the toaster is even on when they put it in? I have never had the bread toasted how it should be, not even close. and on the deal of the day they still charge full price for the 6 inch sub of the day. however I enjoy the veggie options on a complete sub sandwich and this is the only subway in this area. 3 stars read more

I really like coming to this Subway. Close to my house and plenty of parking out front I came here again for lunch today with my bf. As soon as we walked in, they greeted us with a loud welcome! They were ready to make our sandwiches and patient as we decided what to get. I got the Italian BMT (July Footlong Special). The lady did get carried away with the honey mustard and mayo. When she squirted the oil and vinegar on y sandwich it almost got on her shirt. She jumped back and I laughed, thinking its just oil and vinegar. She said it stains our shirts. Oh ok be careful then! But they sure are quick on making the sandwiches. I went to make our drinks and the FUZE Iced Tea wasn't out yet. Because they make it at 11am and it was 11am!! They asked which flavor did we want (Sweetened Iced Tea or Green Tea). Thought that was nice of them. They were planning on making the Green Tea, Bf chose Sweetened Iced Tea and they said it will be ready in 5 minutes. We decided to eat in and keep cool. Having a service job, I get around the island. This is my favorite Subway on the island! Although a little bit out of the way, the staff is very good, always quick, and listens to how you want your sandwich made. The store is always clean and spacious unlike some other locations. GREEN LIGHT GO: Plenty of parking, this subway is very clean and tidy. It is a bit tight in there and this place gets pretty busy !! However, the subway staff is super friendly and quick as well! I was impressed by their timely service. Last month they had a deal where you could get a normally $8 sub for $7. Its only a dollar but it does make a difference ! I always liked the healthier options as well. BY THE WAY, the flatbread tastes delicious but calorie packed. I was so sad when I found that out, welp I guess I'll have to go back to the 8 grain oat! haha read more

I know Subway isn't exact the Taj Mahal of eateries but this is probably one of the better ones I've been to. The staff doesn't have that jaded "If I see another sandwich..." look in their eyes and they are quite friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and no over flowing trash cans. Best part for me was that they didn't skimp on my veggies! I hate when they throw huge handfuls of lettuce in and then you get one slice of tomato, one cucumber... I like the manager Ciera she remembered our orders from the previous day which was impressive to me and the staff was very clean - I watched them as they cleaned the seating area and lined up afterwards to wash their hands. I've seen some less than great reviews of this shop but what do you want? It's a Subway and sometimes they get busy. Basically you go during non busy hours or deal with the crowd. Every little thing wasn't perfect when I visited the shop but I still give it 5 stars because there was nothing bad about it. read more
