Originally, I intended to order fried clams but changed my mind at last minute to lobster roll. You order at the counter and the staff will bring them to your table! The roasted beef sandwich was fine, and tender. The French fries requested without any seasoning was nice, hot and crunchy! Good sandwich! Lobster rolls are normally serve Maine or Connecticut style. Maine lobster rolls is served with lobster chilled in mayo and crunchy greens like celery, chives and/or scallions. A Connecticut lobster roll is served warm, dunked in butter with a toasted bun. The lobster roll at this Kelly's is served chilled on a split top roll. Yes, it looks like the meat from the claw, knuckle and leg of lobster and perhaps from the tails! It needed a little lemon juice and/or warmed garlic butter! The fries were heavily seasoned and on the salty side! As we chow down, a few patrons arrived. Now they have 7 tables. Maybe Thursday night is a slow night! The roasted beef sandwich lives up to the fond memory but the lobster roll needs a little more work!
