While on a bike ride from Placerville, I started to get hungry and could only think about this Subway I knew that was at our turn around point. Service was fast, incredibly nice (even though I was a little spaced out from hunger and kept asking for more veggies- everyone was really friendly and jovial), and the fireplace was a nice touch! I was also impressed with the view while eating my $4 sandwich! It was a great quick stop while you're on your way!

Hands-down the best subway experience I've ever had and it's because of this young woman! Her customer service skills are extraordinary! She is personable and efficient.

I didn't think that I would like the turkey melt because I was craving a burger but I wanted to try something different. Honestly, really glad I did because it had the best combination of flavors from the turkey, bacon, ranch, tomato, avocado... soo good. Everything was quite tasty, just a little tad bit pricey. This meal was ~ $53 which feels a lil crazy but we love to support small businesses. My boyfriend enjoyed the double cheeseburger, it came and went really quick, I think his only complaint was the flavor of the burger meat. I thought it was quite yummy though. Everything felt very fresh and delicious. I liked that there was outside seating as well as nice comfy booths inside. Very very cool, got to see a kitty in the restaurant.

It's a small operation with an inside seating and outside seating. In my opinion, they were just understaffed by one or two people which slowed everything down, including the order line which was long. It wasn't the efforts of the workers they were working as fast as they possibly could, but they were just having trouble keeping up or having a steady pace. I'm sure a group of 10 had something to do with that. I ordered the mushroom burger and it looked really good. I got a double and so it was very healthy in size but fell short in flavor. I really felt like this under achieved because there really wasn't any flavor on this burger. It didn't mean that it was bad it just wasn't flavorful. It could be because they were just trying to get orders out, but I have to be honest here. I would try to give this place another chance because I think they're worth it.

I have been in here to buy stuff. I have been in here to use the restroom. I've never been treated differently. I've always been treated very kind and nice. I'm able to come in here and buy snacks and all the pricing is pretty good. They do have everything that every Safeway has which is really nice. You know what to expect you can get vegetables you can get meat. You can get all kinds of things and just because this is the only Safeway or grocery store in the area they don't have their prices raised in a super huge bracket which a lot of stores would do just because they're the only one in the neighborhood

We spent most of our time here. There was a lot to do including an actual u-pick Apple orchard. Apple Ridge Farms is dog friendly. BBQ and Bakery with a full menu including sandwiches, salads and sides. They had a special on apple pies this weekend... $20 for a whole pie. Picnic Area - got our lunch and enjoyed it in the covered picnic area. Love their fries! Apple Barn - frozen pies, pastries, apple cider, fresh apples, Christmas boutique Country Store - filled with jams, jellies, fudge, chocolates, and great gift ideas Nature trail - visitors are able to choose between an easy trail and a not-so-easy trail. We chose the easy trail but I think they are both easy. Flower trail - unfortunately our visit was in early November and we missed when the flowers were in bloom. September would be the best time to visit and check out the colorful zinnias. Free to access. Gem mining - daughter has enjoyed this activity in other places since she was little. She's 23 now and still has fun with this experience. There is a fee for this activity. Pop ups Artisan Crafters - arts & crafts including wood works, handmade jewelry, handcrafted soaps and candles, paintings, dried nuts and fruits. Unique finds! Face painting - we did not do this activity due to time constraints but daughter had wanted one of Patrick Starr (SpongeBob Square Pants)... next time! Portable toilets are on-site. Pleasantly surprised!…read more We stopped here on a whim on our way back from South Lake Tahoe, after a round of golf. Walked in, not expecting much, but at least some decent food to feed our hungry belly's. It was Saturday evening around 615ish, front of house was running around, but when she spotted us, showed us to our table, gave menus, and apologized as it might be a minute before our server would be able to take our orders because it has suddenly gotten busier than expected (large place but only about 1/4 full, but with 2 large groups, one of which was just seated before us) she came back with waters while we looked at the menu. Once our server came she was polite and took our drink order, promising to be back to take our food order. Understandably it took longer than usual to come back, so another man came to take our order. He apologized for the wait and said he would be happy to take our orders. We think he was the manager or possibly owner, really nice gentleman. We ordered the tiger prawns and Brussels sprouts appetizers, I ordered fish n chips, my husband ordered the rib eye with Mac n cheese and our friend ordered the salmon. The Tiger Prawns and Brussels came out first and the tiger prawns were amazing! 5 large tiger prawns, a couple pcs of toasted baguette, and in a type of white wine garlic Alfredo sauce type. The sauce was perfection, as I dipped each bite of prawn and soaked the accompanied bread. The Brussels were just as amazing, fried to have a nice crisp to it, but not soaking in oil, so they must've been fried in the perfect temp oil or something, and the glaze was just right (a lot of places just drench them in glaze as they're sitting there soaked in oil, but not the case here!) The ribeye was cooked very well (medium rare) and the hubby thought the salt level was PERFECT. It was a little salty for me, but I don't like a lot of salt. My husband almost always orders a good steak when available, and he thought it was great. The accompanying side of veggies were great too! Heavy on the garlic, but we love garlic so we thought it was perfect. The fish n chips were good, fries were ok, but not my style. They were more like shoe string fries, but that's their thing and a lot of people like that style. The tartar sauce was surprisingly good, and not just that cheap store bought stuff a lot of places tend to give. Friend with the salmon said it was good and ate it all. The gentleman that took our order forgot to add the fish n chips, but quickly rectified it, apologizing and bringing out some fries for me to munch on as the fish was getting cooked. Not a big deal to me, as I was already happy with the other items we had. He also came to our table once we were done and chatted with us for a bit, which was very nice of him. Overall the food was pretty good and would recommend stopping here if you have a chance when you have some time to relax while you eat. The staff are all nice personable. Sorry I didn't get to take pics of everything, as we were all really hing
