Worst location to go to for a sandwich. Last time they didn't have any mustard (and they're right next to a grocery store). Today, the bread was like chewing on leather and the meat and toppings were halfway out of the sandwich making it impossible to eat. They should at least try to keep the items IN the sandwich. We were headed to the Poway arts Center and ran short on time. We went to the Subway to save time and were met by two very attentive young men. The Mexican male was so polite and friendly he made my female companions birthday so special with his sweet words. Never did I expect such an engaging young staff at a Subway. Went in to this Subway and noticed a slice of salami in the tunafish and brown lettuce. Only one person there trying to handle everything. Tomatoes looked horrible and at least one item was missing (empty tray). This is not the first time that I have seen conditions like this. I like Subway, but not when its like this. We walked out. I would first like to say that I love the employees, service, and food from this location, however, after witnessing the unprofessionalism displayed by the owner tonight against his employees I'm wanting to take my business elsewhere. The owner stormed in and yelled at both employees in front of a full line of customers after one of them needed to leave for a few minutes to pick up a sibling. As a customer I was horrified. When an extremely rude customer came in and refused to wear a mask, the employee explained that she wouldn't serve him if he didn't put one on. She then was so kind to my daughter who was completely shaking after the exchange, and helped her feel better. This is one of my favorite Subways because they always stay open late when others close early. My Sandwich Artist was Zach, he was fast and got my order right. Zach was also very nice and had a great attitude, he held a conversation with me while making my sandwich that made me feel very welcome at this store. This guy deserves a raise! read more

Went to order a BMT and I should have walked out right away, but being the nice person I am I stayed and ordered my sandwich only to throw it away when I got home. First I was the only one in the store and took a little before someone came out. Then she started making my sandwich and the whole time was playing around with her nose right over my sandwich. I don't care if you have gloves on or not it is really not the place to keep rubbing your nose and then doing over the sandwich. I was just at Subway and I had a wonderful experience. The manager was so nice and sweet kept smiling. I didn't have any problems waiting in the lunch line. until Caitlin started helping me. She doesn't know the difference between ham and turkey. Asked for it toasted and she ignored me and immediately started putting lettuce. I asked if she toasted it she wiped off the lettuce and thru it in the oven. She is the rudest person I have ever met. She not once smiled or asked how I was doing. Her questions were more of demands. And when she made a mistake on my sandwich she sighed and made it seem like it was my fault. She further did it to 3 other people she was helping. She doesn't have a kind bone in her body. Terrible service by her. I personally would like to know when she works so I never have to encounter her again. read more

Typical subway but this location is brighter (all windows) and has more seats than normal (inside and out). You get a consistent good sandwich for a good price. It has to taste good because you choose your own toppings and you get to watch them make your sandwich. There was 4 workers on a Tuesday evening so the lines were going by fast. read more

Horrible! I have two kids who are excited to get a Cars watch with their kids meal. We get through the entire line and pay, and then are told that they have no kids watches or toys. No discounts given, even though the value of the watch is built into the kids meal. At least he said sorry, but we still got ripped off. Tell us right as we start ordering that you are out of toys!!! I usually have a good experience at this location but the workers today were horrible. They were so slow and sloppy. Specifically, a worker named Haylee. She was very sloppy when making my sandwich and smushed all of the avocado. She was slow at wrapping my sandwich and she wrapped it so loosely that the cashier had to rewrap it for me. Haylee threw my second sandwich on the table. She didn't put it in the bag or put a sticker on the sandwich. Terrible customer service (& no Welcome to Subway cheerful greeting, boo). I stopped in at 10am this morning & there was 1 gentleman waiting in front of me. Emrah was helping him & ran to the back to check to see if they had more eggs. At that time Caitlin came out, washed her hands and then proceeded to stare at me. She finally asked, are you ready (which I was the entire time) and I placed my order for a Chicken Pesto Panini. This seemed to bother her and she sighed & started mumbling something & went to the back and returned explaining they didn't have any Panini bread because it takes 30 minutes to make & then cool and they didn't have any. That wasn't a big problem for me, so I just ordered a turkey on wheat. Not once did Caitlin express any desire to help me or provide one ounce of customer service. She behaved the entire time like I was a bother & that she couldn't stand her job and the entire interaction was filled with sighs, annoyance & just plain rudeness. Then when 2 other guests entered the store, the employees not only didn't greet them, but Caitlin turned to Emrah and said "Well, I guess that means I don't get to go on my break any time soon!" and they continued to discuss between each other their annoyance & how that happens a lot, etc... Such a disappointment & I would be horrified if Caitlin was an employee at my place of business. She clearly does not want to work with people. read more

Don't waste your time on this location. The people there don't want to work and you have to call out to get attention to have them make your order. after waiting several minutes after making your choice. The condiments were dried out. and the avocado was truly disgusting The drink machine had NO choices of drinks (but for water and root beer, which was running out). When I pointed out the problem with no choices of drinks, I was told the manager had burned her leg and hadn't been in for awhile and they didn't know how to fix the drink machine. Subway is never my first choice for a sub, however it was after practice and he was hungry. This place seems to NEVER HAVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON WORKING! Always takes forever. Most recently we were there getting 4 subs. The young girl helping us kept looking out the window and was clearly waiting on someone to get there. She also told me "....if i wasn't in such a bad mood!" When she saw the girl coming to the door SHE STOPED MID SANDWICH, told us the other girl (who hadn't even come through the door yet) would finish up our order & then WALKED TO THE BACK GOT HER PURSE AND WALKED OUT. Incredibly rude. The other girl had to clock in, put her purse away and wash her hands then finished the subs. Really? I used this as a learning lesson for my son what NOT to do if ever in Customer Service. I would avoid this particular Subway if at ALL POSSIBLE!!! This location is horrible!!! Today was the worst of all my visits to this location. I walk inside to no one behind the counter. I give it a min and no one is coming out. Another customer comes in and is now waiting. We find out someone is in the restroom and we figure it's probably an employee. At the same time I know someone is in the back washing dishes. We are yelling out hello and knocking on the wall. I know they heard us but chose to ignore us. Another customer comes in and we are all standing around wondering what's going on. Finally the person comes out of the restroom which ended up being one of the employees. Now that I waited and he's taking my order he tells me that all they had was honey oat and cheese bread. I'm like here we go again, always running out of things. Went with what they had even though it wasn't my first choice. The bread ended up being dry and old. When it came to making the sandwiches I had watch every detail because they could not follow direction or have the ability to make a decent sandwich. My 4 yr old could make a better sandwich. During this time the person in the back ends up coming out to make an appearance. I believe her name is Haylee. It said manager on her shirt. I have no clue how she is a manager with her customer service. Everytime I see her she has a look on her face like she hates life. Cannot crack a smile or be friendly. Also obviously likes to ignore people that are calling out for help. All of us that were inside were looking at one another just shaking our heads on how poor the service was. I always enjoy my visit. The service is always top notch. The employees are always courteous and friendly.

Awful food. Everything is super old and the staff is super rude. They charge way too much for the garbage they serve and the mediocre service the employees provide. UPDATE: I have to agree with the recent yelper on the girls here having horrendous attitudes, They're always giggling/smiling/smirking with each other and having secret gestures while I'm ordering my food very politely/patiently, then as soon as they finally fixate their attention back on me, they have awful attitudes and glare as if I'm insulting them. I'm sorry, but a $10 sandwich isn't worth dealing with this. I understand it sucks working there and that customers are complete jerks, but the least you can do is be respectful towards the polite ones. Plus, part of your job is to be courteous to the people who pay for your service (and make it possible for you to get paid) You two aren't going to make it far acting like that. Unfortunately, every time I order, the employees here crumble up my receipt before asking "You don't need your receipt, do you?" Um..yes actually. I'd like to complete the survey. I have been to this subway on and off for a little while now. Last week I was in this subway. The business was slow at this time. Only about 2 people in front of me. Each were purchasing about 2 sandwiches. There were 2 people... well KIDS working in the front. I waited patiently about 5 minutes before I was helped. The fun was not over then. The staff had no idea what in the world they were doing. They were walking all over each other bumping into each other. Later there was only one person assisting us at the counter. I soon saw multiple staff members come out of the back and have a team huddle. I assume they were figure out what to do next?? :/ They were all looking at each other like they were lost. Unsure what was going to happen next. Our sandwiches were finally done. I paid and sat outside eating. I could see the staff and I guess the manager or boss showing them what to do. Pointing out whats lettuce and mayonise etc etc. He looked pretty stressed and the staff sure didnt seem like they wanted to be there. read more
