Nice staff. Fresh quality food. Place is clean and pleasant. Product is way overpriced for what you get.

I ordered a sandwich online and it had no vegetables even tho the picture had vegetables. It was misleading and very disappointing.

We don't go super often since the menu is pretty much the same, but we are always so pleased with the food when we do go. You might think their claims about having the best sandwich is exaggeration. I've had a lot of good sandwiches, and this one is up there. I try to limit my meat intake, so I only ate a bite of my son's. It was a perfect bite. Their other sandwiches are extremely good too. Just try the shrimp. My one problem with them is that they are quite decadent, so I don't dare eat them too often. If I could, I would get one every time. Aside from the sandwiches, the platters are really good. My husband absolutely loves their rojo sauce. My son has also tried the jambalaya and just loves it. Great place.

OK, a little higher than four stars…read more The interior store is cute and has cheerful colors and decor. The metal chairs are what I would call aCaribbean blue. Very pretty, To order, you walk up to the counter and place your order from the menu behind the counter The menu offer sandwiches, bowls, sharables and sides. We were going to have dinner in a few hours, so we decided to split the sandwich and some fries. I'm very glad we did. The gal who helped us was very kind and helpful. If you looked up service with a smile, you would see her face. We did tell her we were splitting the sandwich and it arrived cut in half. I don't know if that's normal or if she had it done because we were sharing. The food arrived with two plate plates (the gal heard us- great service) We ordered a side of Yucca fries, which came with an aïoli and a Caribbean roast sandwich. The fries were crispy on the outside, dusted with a signature seasoning and tender on the inside. Yucca is denser and more chewy than potato but quite tasty. The aïoli served with the fries was yummy. The real star, however is the Caribbean roast sandwich. They did not skimp on sandwich filling. The pork was tender to the point of melting in your mouth and so flavorful. I love making me some grilled onions and there were grilled ones along with some jalapeños. I don't know if it was paid, but I did find a sandwich hard to eat because it was a little messy, but let me tell you I do not stop me from finishing. I grabbed a fork so I could eat any pieces that fell out. Very tasty. great service

Upping walking up to the gas station, I could smell the aroma of freshly fried food and I thought maybe I was in a for a nice treat. The food was sitted under heat lamps and most of it looked pretty fresh. The jojos are large and have a great crust on it. The seasoning is pretty solid too. The interior of the potato wedge was soft and nice contrast to the crust. The chicken tenders were fresh and actually moist. They were the most surprisingly the best thing I ate from here. The fried chicken left some to desire. The chicken wings were dry. Just dry and not good. The crust on the chicken thighs was good though. It was seasoned well and super crispy. The meat on the thigh wasn't as dry as the chicken wings but definitely not as moist or juicy as you would expect a thigh to be. The guy helping me was friendly although I had to repeat my order quite a few times. Overall, glad I tried it but in the world of gas station fried chicken - I wouldn't come out of my way to come back.

The fried chicken was completely flavorless and overfried. Best thing was the jalapeño poppers. Everything else overfried and old. When we asked for more jalapeño poppers to be made, the older woman made some elaborate excuse about a new employee burning a huge order, so she shut the fryers down early. This was around 4pm on a Friday. She said she was leaving it til morning? So old burnt oil will be left overnight I guess. I see glove use, but wonder if they change gloves when handling money and cashiering. I've tried twice. No thanks. At least Krispy Krunchy chicken flavors their chicken.

Nice neighborhood breakfast spot near Renton/Issaquah - traditional American style breakfast food…read moreand vibes Food: I had the chicken fried steak which also came with hash browns, 2 eggs, and a choice of toast/english muffin/biscuit. Everything was cooked well and I personally didn't think the chicken steak was super heavy. Service/Ambiance: Staff here is very friendly but move at the fast pace you would expect for a traditional breakfast/diner style. The restaurant also has some fun decorations. Everything you would needs for your meal (salt/pepper/hot sauce/half & half for coffee) is readily available at each table which was nice. Note: We've been here a few times now, and it does get packed on the weekends so prepare for a bit of a wait!

We hadn't…read moretried it before, but some friends had mentioned they'd been wanting to check it out too, so we decided to give it a go. I'll be honest--the service felt a bit odd when we first walked in. We were told we could wait a while to get seated at the dinning area or that we could seat ourselves at the bar. Since it was our first time, I wasn't sure if that meant the actual bar counter or tables in the bar area. When I asked for clarification, there was a bit of an awkward pause before someone finally explained we could sit at a table in the bar section. That said, once we got settled, the experience improved. The server who took care of us was very kind and attentive. I ordered my usual go-to at breakfast spots: chicken fried steak with a biscuit. It was really good--definitely hearty and comforting without being overly greasy. That said, it is a heavy meal (fried food plus gravy), so be prepared for a post-brunch nap. The biscuit looked a little underwhelming at first, but it actually tasted great. The overall vibe of the place is very much a local dive bar feel, and the service style matches that. As long as you go in with the right expectations, it makes for an enjoyable, laid-back brunch. Also worth noting--there's a decent amount of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, no-frills brunch.
